God hath set tyme to derknessis, and he biholdith the ende of alle thingis.
4 Mihem ho chenna a kon gamla tah a leiset a kokhuh avut un, khaovin akumsuh uvin anung leh ama ah akivol leuve.

The sones of marchauntis tretiden not on it, and a lyonesse passide not therbi.
9 Mihem in songgel song keh soje aheuvin chuleh mol lekhup je jong aheuve.
God stretchide forth his hond to a flynt; he distriede hillis fro the rootis.

But where is wisdom foundun, and which is the place of vndurstondyng?
13 Hoiya kimu ham ti koima chan ahepoi, ijeh inem itile hichehi mihing gamsunga kimulou ahi.
A man noot the prijs therof, nether it is foundun in the lond of men lyuynge swetli, `ether delicatli.
14 Hiche ah aumpoi tin twikhanglen in aseijin Twipi thuhtah in jong keikomma aumpoi ati.
The depthe of watris seith, It is not in me; and the see spekith, It is not with me.

Gold ful cleene schal not be youun for wisdom, nether siluer schal be weied in the chaungyng therof.

It schal not be comparysound to the died colours of Iynde, not to the moost preciouse stoon of sardius, nether to saphir.
17 Chihna hi sana leh songval sanga mantam jo ahin, song mantam kijepna chung sana hoitah chonga jong choh thei hilou ahi.
Nether gold, nether glas schal be maad euene worth therto;
18 Chihna chohna dingin coral leh jesper songmantam teni jong hi phachom lou ahin, chihna man ding chu hiche song mantam sang sanga jong sangjo nalai ahi.
and hiye and fer apperynge vessels of gold schulen not be chaungid for wisdom, nether schulen be had in mynde in comparisoun therof. Forsothe wisdom is drawun of pryuy thingis;

Therfor wherof cometh wisdom, and which is the place of vndurstondyng?
21 Mihem te mitmu a konin akisel tan chung leng vacha mit hat pen in jong amu doh joulou ahi.
It is hid fro the iyen of alle lyuynge men; also it is hid fro briddis of heuene.
22 Manthah nale thinan asei lhonin keinin jong chihna hi hoiya kimu ding ham tithu kithang bou kaja lhone.
Perdicioun and deeth seiden, With oure eeris we herden the fame therof.
23 Pathen ama changseh in bou chihna lampi hoiya kimu ding ham ti ahet ahi.
God vndurstondith the weye therof, and he knowith the place therof.
24 Ijeh inem itile aman leiset chung hi apumpia avet ji ahin, vannoija thil umjouse hi amusoh kei ahi.
For he biholdith the endis of the world, and biholdith alle thingis that ben vndur heuene.
25 Aman hui ichan hat a nunsah ding chule go ichan a juhsah ding ti agel lhuh sa ahi.
`Which God made weiyte to wyndis, and weiede watris in mesure.
26 Aman gojuh ding dan asempeh in chule kolphe vahna ding lampi asempeh e.
Whanne he settide lawe to reyn, and weie to tempestis sownynge;
27 Hiti chun aman chihna chu ana mun chule manlu tah ahi, ahin munkhat ah akoijin hoitah in akhol chiljin ahi.
thanne he siy wisdom, and telde out, and made redi, and souyte out.
28 Chule aman mihem te jah a asei chu hiche hi ahi. Pakai gin kiti hi chihna chu ahin, thilse a konna kiheidoh kiti hi thil hetkhen theina chu ahi.
And he seide to man, Lo! the drede of the Lord, thilke is wisdom; and to go awei fro yuel, is vndurstondyng.
