< Job 23 >
1 Hichun Job in aseikit in:
Then Job answered and said,
2 Kakiphinna tuni chan geijin akhoh cheh cheh in chule pendoh lou ding hatah in kagoi.
Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
3 Keiman Pathen ama umna bouseh kahol doh thei hileh keima athutanna munna kache ding ahi.
Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
4 Kachung chang thuhi kaluidoh a chuleh kaki phin a thu kasei ding ahi.
I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
5 Chuteng leh keiman eidonbutna kangaija chuleh kakoma ipi asei ham ti kahetdoh ding ahi.
I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
6 Athahatna jousea chu keima einel ding ham? Ahipoi aman ngainom umtah'a eidonbut ding ahi.
Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.
7 Milungtheng ho chun amatoh ngaito khom theijun tin hijeh a chu keima thutanna'a konna a itih a dinga lhadoh a kaum ding ahitai.
There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.
8 Solama kachen ahin hiche mun a chun ama anaumpon, lhumlam a kachen ahinlah ama kaga mu poi.
Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
9 Sahlang gam kahol in kaga mu joupoi, ijeh inem itile ama kisel ah ahi. Keiman lhanglang gam kaven ahinlah ama akisel mangah ahitai.
On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
10 Ahin aman hoiya kache ahen ahi, chuleh aman ei patep tengle sana thengsel banga kahung doh ding ahi.
But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
11 Ijeh inem itile Pathen lampi a um kahin kihei mang louhel a alampi chu kajui ahi.
My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
12 Athupeh a kon in kapotdoh khapon ahinlah niseh anneh twidon sangin athusei ho gou khol in kaki khol e.
Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
13 Ahinlah aman khatvei kigel lhahna anei tengleh koipen in alungthim akhelsah thei ding ham? Aman abol nomchan chu ipi hijongle abol jing ding ahi.
But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
14 Hijeh a chu ipi hijongle kachunga kathilgon jouse chu eibol doh peh a kavanga ana umsa chu aman athuneina noija akoi ding ahi.
For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
15 Datmo louhel in ama aum tengle kaki cha behseh jin hiche ho kagel tengle kaki cha behseh ji e.
Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.
16 Pathen in kalung anat sah in lungchang nan eisem in Hatchungnung pa chun ei tijat sah e.
For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:
17 Muthim in ei umkim vellin athimdan seijou lou chu muntin a aume.
Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.
