< Job 13 >

1 Ven keiman hiche ho jouse hi kamit tah in kamun chule kanakol tah in kajan tun keiman kahetai.
“Behold, my eye has seen all, My ear has heard, and it attends to it.
2 Ken nathil boldoh jouseu kahenai, kei sangin nangho naphajo deh pouve.
According to your knowledge I have known—also I. I am not more fallen than you.
3 Hatchungnung pa koma keija ding seh seh a jang keija thu kaseija kachung chang thua keiman Pathen ama tah chu kaki nelpi nom ahi.
Yet I speak for the Mighty One, And I delight to argue for God.
4 Nanghon vang, jou le nallin kahinkho nei suhset peh un, thempu banga nangho hi pannabei kithemput sah nahiuve.
And yet, you [are] forgers of falsehood, Physicians of nothing—all of you,
5 Thipbeh chan umthim thei leuchun, hichu nangho dinga nachih napen uva nabolthei sun u chu hiding ahi.
O that you would keep perfectly silent, And it would be to you for wisdom.
6 Mo kachansah nau hi ngaijuvin, kanelna hohi phaten ngaijuvin.
Please hear my argument, And attend to the pleadings of my lips,
7 Pathen chu jouva nahonbit diu ham? Ama jeh a chu lungtheng lou puma nanel diu ham?
Do you speak perverseness for God? And do you speak deceit for Him?
8 Naum chan hou chu ama nadei sah nau jeh a langnei nadeiju ham? Pathen chung chang thu a nanghon ama dinga nanel peh diu ham?
Do you accept His face, if you strive for God?
9 Nathil bol hou ahin mudoh tenguleh ipi iti ding hinam? Bailam tah a mihem ho nangol bol banguva ama chu nangol bol theidiu ham?
Is [it] good that He searches you, If, as one mocks at a man, you mock at Him?
10 Ahipoi, guhthima ama langa lang neina naneijuva ahileh ama toh naboi dingu ahi.
He surely reproves you, if you accept faces in secret.
11 Aloupina hin nakichat sah louvu ham? Nakichat nau chun nasun khum louvu ham?
Does His excellence not terrify you? And His dread fall on you?
12 Nathil geldoh theikit nau jong vutvai bep bou ahin, ami huhdoh nau jong leibel tobanga keh bai bep ahi.
Your remembrances [are] allegories of ashes, For high places of clay [are] your heights.
13 Tun umthim unlang chule kachangseh in nei dalha tauvin, thu seijing ting, chule thil hung soh jouse kimaito pi tange.
Keep silent from me, and I speak, And pass over me what will.
14 Henge, ken kahin kho chu kakhut in kilah ing ting, chule kalunggel mong mong sei tange.
Why do I take my flesh in my teeth? And my soul put in my hand?
15 Pathen in eitha maithei ahin, ahinlah kinepna ding dang kanei poi. Ken kachung thua ama kakinelpi ding ahi.
Behold, He slays me—I do not wait! Only, I argue my ways to His face.
16 Ahinla hiche hi eihuhdoh dinga chu ahin keima Pathen neilou kahipoi. Achuti loule ama masanga kadin jou lou ding ahi.
Also—He [is] to me for salvation, For the profane do not come before Him.
17 Kasei ding jouse hi naichan ngaiju vin, kasei hi ngaijun.
Hear my word diligently, And my declaration with your ears.
18 Kachung chang thu kaki gontoh soh in, nolna bei kahi ti eiki photchen peh ding ahi.
Now behold, I have set the cause in order, I have known that I am righteous.
19 Hicheng ho chunga hi kon eikinelpi thei ding ham? Kathep mona naphotchen theijuva ahileh thipbeh chan um ingting thi tange.
Who [is] he that strives with me? For now I keep silent and gasp.
20 O Pathen! Thilni seh seh neiphal peh in, chutile nangma toh kimaito dinga kadin jou thei ding ahi.
Only two things, O God, do with me, Then I am not hidden from Your face:
21 Kachunga konin nakhut ham tah chu neilah doh peh in, chule ame umpina kichat umtah chun nei kichat sah tahih in.
Put Your hand far off from me, And do not let Your terror terrify me.
22 Tun neihin kouvin keiman nadonbut inge, ahiloule ken thu seijing ting chule nei donbut in,
And You call, and I answer, Or—I speak, and You answer me.
23 Ipi themmona kanei ham? Neiseipeh in, kachonsetna leh nang kadouna nei vetsah temin.
How many iniquities and sins do I have? Let me know my transgression and my sin.
24 Ipi dinga keija konna naki heimang ham? Ibola namelma khat banga nei bol ham?
Why do You hide Your face? And reckon me for an enemy to You?
25 Huimut lonle thingna banga nei kichat sah kit ding ham? Changpol gosa nadel ding ham?
Do You terrify a leaf driven away? And do You pursue the dry stubble?
26 Nangin keidou nan themmona thilse tah tah najihdoh in, chule kakhangdon laiya kachonsetna jouse nahin sulange.
For You write bitter things against me, And cause me to possess iniquities of my youth,
27 Nangin kakeng teni nakoi khomin chule kalam lhah jouse navelhi jinge, kakhonung jouse naholdoh in namelchih jinge.
And you put my feet in the stocks, And observe all my paths—You set a print on the roots of my feet,
28 Pannabei thingmotsa tobang apin anehchai sa to kabange.
And he, as a rotten thing, wears away, A moth has consumed him as a garment.”
