< Jeremiah 43 >
1 Pakai a-Pathen uvin amaho ding’a ahinsei thuho jouse chu, Jeremiah in mipite heng’a abonchan aseipeh tai.
And it was when had finished Jeremiah to speak to all the people all [the] words of Yahweh God their which he had sent him Yahweh God their to them all the words these.
2 Hichun Hoshaiah chapa Azariah leh Kareah chapa Johanan chule mihoitho phabep chu, Jeremiah heng’a ahung un, ajah’a, “Pakai ka-Pathen uvin keiho Egypt gam’a kache diu jahda ponte. Nangman jou nasei ahibouve.
And he said Azariah [the] son of Hoshaiah and Johanan [the] son of Kareah and all the people arrogant saying to Jeremiah falsehood you [are] speaking not he has sent you Yahweh God our saying not you must go Egypt to sojourn there.
3 Nangma Neriah chapa Baruch toh nakihoutoh a, keiho hi Babylon te khut’a eikipedoh uva, chule amahon eithauva ahiloule sohchang’a Babylon gam’a eikai mang nadiuva, hitobang thuh naseidoh ahi,” atiuve.
For Baruch [the] son of Neriah [is] inciting you against us so as to give us in [the] hand of the Chaldeans to put to death us and to take into exile us Babylon.
4 Hijeh chun, Johanan leh gal lamkai ho chuleh mipite jouse chun, Pakaiyin Judah gamsung’a nachenden diu ahi, tia aseichu angai tapouve.
And not he listened Johanan [the] son of Kareah and all [the] commanders of the armies and all the people to [the] voice of Yahweh to remain in [the] land of Judah.
5 Hichun Johanan leh gal lamkai ho thusah chun, gam chom chom’a ajamcheh nauva kon’a hung kilekit’a, Judah gamsung’a chengding kigo ho chule akidalha amoh chengse chu, apuijun ache tauve.
And he took Johanan [the] son of Kareah and all [the] commanders of the armies all [the] remnant of Judah who they had come back from all the nations where they had been driven away there to sojourn in [the] land of Judah.
6 Mipi ho lah’a chun, pasal ho, numei ho, chapang ho chule leng chanu te hojong ahiuve. Amaho chu, in-ngah lamkaipa Nebuzaradan in Gedaliah khut’a adalhah ho ahiuve. Alah uva chun, Jeremiah themgaopa leh Baruch jong apuitha tauvin ahi.
The men and the women and the little one[s] and [the] daughters of the king and every person whom he had left Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards with Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam [the] son of Shaphan and Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch [the] son of Neriah.
7 Hitichun, Pakai thusei ngailouvin, mipiho chu Egypt gamsung’a alut un, achepeh uvin Tahpanhes khopi alhung tauve.
And they went [the] land of Egypt for not they had listened to [the] voice of Yahweh and they came to Tahpanhes.
8 Tahpanhes mun’a, Pakaiyin Jeremiah heng’a thu ahinsei kit in, ajah’a,
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes saying.
9 “Judahte mitmu tah in, nangman songchang alenthim phabep lanlang, Pharaoh lengpa inpi lutna lampi’a kipha songpheng noiya khun vuijin.
Take in hand your stones large and you will hide them in the mortar in the brick-terrace which [is] at [the] entrance of [the] house of Pharaoh in Tahpanhes to [the] eyes of [the] people Jews.
10 Chuteng Judah miho kom’a seiyin: Thaneipen Pakai, Israel Pathen in hitin aseiye; Keiman kasohpa Babylon lengpa Nebuchadnezzar chu hilai mun’a kahin puilut ding ahi. Keiman hiche songchang kiselho chung’a hi, alaltouna kaki dosah’a chule aman hilai mun’a hi aleng ponbuh ason khumding ahi.
And you will say to them thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to send and I will fetch Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon servant my and I will set throne his from above the stones these which I have hidden and he will spread out (state tent his *Q(K)*) over them.
11 Ama hung kon intin, Egypt gamsung asuhgam ding. Chuteng athiding ho thiuvin tin, sohchang dingho sohchang uvintin, chule gal’a thiding ho thisoh diu ahi.
(And he will come *Q(K)*) and he will attack [the] land of Egypt [those] who [are] for death to death and [those] who [are] for captivity to captivity and [those] who [are] for the sword to the sword.
12 Aman Egypt te Pathen chom chom houna in jouse asuhset ding, meiya ahalvam ding, chule asung’a kitung milimdoi ho jouse akipoh mang ding ahi. Aman Egypt gamsung chu, kelngoi chingpan asangkholchol a um hit hi alhentheng bang’a alhentheng sel ding ahi. Ahin ama tahchu, imacha tilouva chemang ding ahi.
And I will kindle fire in [the] houses of [the] gods of Egypt and he will burn them and he will take captive them and he will delouse [the] land of Egypt just as he delouses the shepherd garment his and he will go out from there in peace.
13 Aman Egypt gamsung’a nisa houna inchu asuhchim ding, chule Egypt Pathen chom chom houna in jouse meiya ahalvam ding ahi.
And he will break [the] sacred pillars of Beth Shemesh which [is] in [the] land of Egypt and [the] houses of [the] gods of Egypt he will burn with fire.
