Jeremiah 33
1 Jeremiah chu akihenna songkul’a aumnalaiyin, Pakai thusei ahenga aniveinan ahung lhungin,
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the guard, saying:
2 Pakaiyin hitin aseiye, Leiset semdohpa Pakai, leiset lim hin gongdoh chule phutdohpa, ama min chu Pakai ahi.
Thus saith the LORD the Maker thereof, the LORD that formed it to establish it, the LORD is His name:
3 Neikouvin nahou ingting, nangman nahetkhah louhel khonung thuguh kisel ho naseipeh ing kate.
Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and will tell thee great things, and hidden, which thou knowest not.
4 Pakai, Israel Pathen in hitin aseiye, Gal douna ding pansatna semna dinga, Jerusalem inho jouse leh leng inpiho jouse abon’a kiphelha soh hel ding ahi.
For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are broken down for mounds, and for ramparts;
5 Khopi kimvel’a pansa Babylonte kisatpi din nakigongun, phachom louhel ding ahi. Hiche khopia mite hi abonchauva athisa tobang ahiuve. Ajeh chu kalunghan behseh jeh’a, keiman amahohi suhmang dinga kakoi ahitai. Amaho agitlou behseh jeh’uva, keiman kanung ngat ahitai, ati.
whereon they come to fight with the Chaldeans, even to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in Mine anger and in My fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid My face from this city:
6 Amavang, Jerusalem thohna maha chu, keiman kasuh damding, chule amaho chu chamna leh lungmonna chule khantouna lhingset a, kasemphat ding ahi.
Behold, I will bring it healing and cure, and I will cure them; and I will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
7 Hitia chu, keiman Judah leh Jerusalem hamphatna kasemdoh’a, chule akhopi jouseu kasahphat kit ding ahi.
And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
8 Chule keima douna’a achonsetnauva kon’a, amaho chu kasuh theng ding, chule keima douna athemmonau kangaidam ding ahiuve.
And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned against Me, and whereby they have transgressed against Me.
9 Chuteng, leiset’a namtin vaipi angsung’a, hiche khopi hin, keima dinga kipana, loupina leh jabolna ahin phondoh ding ahi. Chule vannoi miten, hiche khopi dinga thilpha kabolpeh chengse amudoh’uva, amaho kicha-a kihot ding ahiuve.
And this city shall be to Me for a name of joy, for a praise and for a glory, before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them, and shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I procure unto it.
10 Pakaiyin hitin aseiye, “Nanghon hiche gamhi ahomkeova um’a, gancha leh mihem jong chengthei talou ahi,’’ natiuve. Hijongle Jerusalem khopi leh Judah khopi dangho’a, avel a hiche hohi nahinjah kit diu,
Thus saith the LORD: Yet again there shall be heard in this place, whereof ye say: It is waste, without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast,
11 Kipa golnop agin, nuigin, jinei ding mou leh moulang lipa thanop agin, chuleh mipite kipa lasah agin hung kijakit ding ahi. Mihon, Pakai thangvahna’a thilto choiya houin ahinjot’u husa najah diu,’’ Thangvah un, thaneipen Pakai chu, Pakai nunnem, alungset longlou chu atonsot geiya ahi,’’ atidiu ahi. Ajeh chu keiman agamsungu hi, masanglai banga khantou machalna kakoi kit ding ahi, ati.
the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that say: 'Give thanks to the LORD of hosts, for the LORD is good, for His mercy endureth for ever', even of them that bring offerings of thanksgiving into the house of the LORD. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return as at the first, saith the LORD.
12 Thaneipen Pakaiyin hitin aseiye, Hiche gamsung hi ahomkeo leh, mihem leh ganchaho chenmonasa hita jongle, hiche gamsunga hi avel’a hamhing hung kehdoh kit’a, kelngoi chinghon akelngoiteu vahna leh akicholdohnau mun hung hiding ahi.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Yet again shall there be in this place, which is waste, without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
13 Chutengle, thinglhang gam khopi ho’a, Judah gam thinglhang chan ho’a, Neger gamsung’a, Jerusalem khopi kimvel ho’a, chule Judah gamsung khopi jousea, kelngoi chinghon simsenlou kelngoite akivah diu ahi, tin Pakaiyin aseiye.
In the cities of the hill-country, in the cities of the Lowland, and in the cities of the South, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks again pass under the hands of him that counteth them, saith the LORD.
14 Pakaiyin aseiye, “Keiman Israel leh Judah tedinga, kanatepna banga, amaho dinga thilpha kabolpeh ding nikho chu ahunglhung e,’’ ati.
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah.
15 Hiche nikho chule, keiman leng David khangguiya kon’a achilhah thengsel khat kalhendoh ding, chule amachun, gamsung pumpia kitah leh dihtah’a vai ahomding, thu atanding ahi.
In those days, and at that time, will I cause a shoot of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.
16 Hiche nikho chule, Judah kihuhdoh ding chule Jerusalem chu lungmonga umding ahiuve. Chule amin chu, “Idihnau chu Pakai ahi’’ atidiu ahi.
In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; and this is the name whereby she shall be called, the LORD is our righteousness.
17 Ajeh chu Pakaiyin hitin aseiye, David laltouna’a aitih a toujingding, achilhah khat hungdoh ding ahi.
For thus saith the LORD: There shall not be cut off unto David a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
18 Chule aphat jousea, keima angsung’a kilhaina thilto tohdoh ding leh pumgo thilto halvam ding, thempuho lhasam louva umjing ahiuve.
neither shall there be cut off unto the priests the Levites a man before Me to offer burnt-offerings, and to burn meal-offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
19 Chujouvin Pakai thusei chu Jeremiah heng ahung lhungin,
And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying:
20 Pakaiyin hitin aseiye, ‘Aphat cha’a ahungjing nadinga keiman sun le jan toh kitepna kasemdoh hi; Nanghon nasuhkeh uva sun le jan jong kitepna dungjuiya ahung umlouva ahileh,
Thus saith the LORD: If ye can break My covenant with the day, and My covenant with the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season;
21 Chutah lebou chun, kalhacha David toh kitepna kasem chu kisukeh ding ahi. Chutengle ama guiya achilhahte, alaltouna’a vaihom ding chapa aneilou ding chule Levi phunga thempuho toh kitepna kasem jong chuti ding ahi.
Then may also My covenant be broken with David My servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, My ministers.
22 Chutengle vanthamjol’a ahsite leh twikhanglen pang’a neldi jat simjoulou banga, kalhacha David chilhahte kapunsah’a chule keima kinbol’a pang Levite jong kapunsah ding ahiuve.
As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured; so will I multiply the seed of David My servant, and the Levites that minister unto Me.
23 Chuin Pakaiyin Jeremiah henga hitin aseiye,
And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying:
24 Mihon, “insung ni Judah le Israel chu Pakaiyin, alhendohsa chu apaidoh ahitai,’’ tia aseiyu khu najah louham? Mihon kamite noise tah in aveuvin, Israel chu namkhat dinga simthei ahitapouve, atiuvin ahi.
'Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying: The two families which the LORD did choose, He hath cast them off? and they contemn My people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
25 Pakaiyin hitin aseiye, Keiman kamite kapaidoh kit sangin, keiman sun le jan chule lei le van umje dingdan kasemtohsa hi, khel jing e;
Thus saith the LORD: If My covenant be not with day and night, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
26 Keiman kalhacha Jacob leh David chilhahte aitih’a kapaidoh kit louding; Chule Abraham, Isaac chule Jacob chilhah ho chunga leng change vaihom ding chu, David guiya kasemdoh jing ding ahi. Keiman amaho khoto ingting, chule agamsung u kasemphat’a kahaosah ding ahiuve, ati.
then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David My servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have compassion on them.'
