< Isaiah 63 >
1 Edoma kona hunga, Bozrah khopia konna hung'ah, aponsil thisan beh hi koi hija ham? Alalna sangkhol chol puma, athahatna’a hungpa chu koi hija ham? Hiche hi Keima, Pakai huhhing'a naumna ding phongdohpa chu kahi! Hiche hi Keima Pakai, nangho huhdoh thei thaneipa chu kahi!
Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? "It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save."
2 Nangman lengpi-ga nachil khat tou hiya, ipi itia navon hi tia hi san ahidem?
Why are you red in your clothing, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat?
3 Keiman kachangseh’a lengpi-ga chu kachil ahin, eipanpi ding koima aumpoi. Ka lunghan jeh’a ka melmate chu lengpiga kachil tobanga kaban chil jeng ahitauve. Athisanu chu kavon ho chunga behden’a ahije.
"I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yes, I trod them in my anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.
4 Ajeh iham itileh ka mite abol hesoh nauva konna lhatdohna’a, phuba kalahna ding phat hung lhunga ahitai.
For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.
5 Keiman amaho agimbol pa’uva konna pan hu dinga koima cha akikum lou hi kadatmo lheh in ahi. Hijeh’a hi, keima tah mong kakikuma kabanjang thahatna amaho kahuhdoh kigot ahin, ka lunghanin eichoh thoudoh jenge.
I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore my own arm brought salvation to me; and my wrath, it upheld me.
6 Keiman chitin-namtin hohi ka lunghanna’ a ka chilgoi ahin, chule amaho lon le leuva tolla lhu lhop’uva, athisannu leisetna ahin vatlhah sah ding’u ahi.
I trod down the peoples in my anger, and made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth."
7 Keiman Pakai ngailutna lhadai ngailou chu kasei ding, athibol ho jouse jal'a hi Pakai chu ka vahchoi ding, akhotona le angailutna jal'a lungsetna anei chu, Israel dinga aphat behset jeh’a hi kipah thanom ding kahi.
I will make mention of the loving kindnesses of Jehovah and the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
8 Aman aseijin, “Ama ho hi Ka mite mong mong ahiuve. Ama hohin keima eipedoh kit talou diu ahi.” Chule Ama ahuhhingpu’u ahung hitai.
For he said, "Surely, they are my people, children who will not deal falsely:" so he was their Savior.
9 Gim hesoh athoh nauva Aman jong agim pin, Ama tah amaho huhdoh in apange. Angailutna le akhotona jallin, amaho alhatdamin, Ama’n amaho hi kum sunghoa ahin domkhang’in chule apole’in ahi.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
10 Hinla amaho hi Ama douna’a akisauvin, a Lhagao Theng alung phatmo sah’uvin, hijeh chun Ama amaho dingin melma akisoh in, amaho ahin doutai.
But they rebelled, and grieved his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he himself fought against them.
11 Chuphatnin amahon Mose in amite apuidoh lai phat’u, nikho chesaho chu ageldoh tauve. Chujeh in amahon asamuvin: Twipi-sanna Israel te hin pui galkaipa chu hoiya uma ham? Mose achingpau chu anahi lou ham? Lhagao Theng hinsolpa Amite umpipa chu hoiya uma ham?
Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his holy Spirit in their midst?
12 Mose in a khut ajah’a chu koiham athahatna hin vetsah’a chu? Amasang tah’uva twipi-san hop nia so’a, Ama tah minthanna atonsotna hin semdoh pachu hoiya umham?
who caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses? who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
13 Twi khanglen thuh tah noinung lampeh’a konna amiteho hin pui galkai’pachu hoi lamba hitam? Ama hohi Sakolchal til kilalou hoitah ho tobang'in gamthip gam'a ahung kilhaitet’uva jong kipal lou hel ahiuve.
who led them through the depths, as a horse in the wilderness, so that they did not stumble?
14 Gancha hotoh phaicham lhunga lung monga kilhonuva, Pakai Lhagaovin amaho chu akicholdo sah ahiiai. Pakai nangman namite chu napui jin, chua chun minthanna loupitah chu
As the livestock that go down into the valley, the Spirit of Jehovah caused them to rest; so you led your people, to make yourself a glorious name.
15 Pakai, vanna konin neihin vesuh’uvin: na chenna In thengtah le loupitah’a konin hin ven. Kachunguva neihin gelkhoh nau le nahatna neivetsah jiu chu hoilamba hitam?
Look down from heaven, and see from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where are your zeal and your mighty acts? the yearning of your heart and your compassion is restrained toward me.
16 Thonlou hella nangma ka Pa’u nahi jinge! Abraham le Jacob’in einol diu hijongleh, Pakai, nangma ka Pa’u nahi jing nahlai ding ahi. Nangma akhang akhana achesa phat hoa ei-Lhatdampu’u chu nahi.
For you are our Father, though Abraham doesn't know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us: you, Jehovah, are our Father; our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.
17 Pakai, iti danna na lampia konna kihei mang dinga neiphal jengu hitam? Ipi dinga Nangma kagin louna dinguva louchalna lungthim neipeh’u hitam? Hung kilehei kitnin lang chule nei pan piuvin, ajeh iham itileh keiho na lhachate kahiuvin, nangman na deilhen phunga mite kahiuve.
Jehovah, why do you make us to stray from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? Return for your servants' sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
18 Chomcha kahsung bou ahi nalaije na mun theng sung namiten kalo nau phatsung hi, hinla tun ka melma teuvin eisugam hel tauve.
Your holy people possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.
19 Khatvei kom le keihohi nangma’a hikhalou helto kabang jitauvin, keiho hi nangma mite tia kihekhalou hel kabanguve.
We have become as they over whom you never bear rule, as those who were not called by your name.
