< Isaiah 45 >

1 Hiche hi Pakaiyin athaonupa, akhut jet lama thaneina pea chun Cyprus jah’a asei ahi. Ama masanga chu leng hat tah ho jong chu kichatna thangoi jeng diu, akulpi’u kelkotpi jong chu kihonglha ding, kikhah kit talou hel ding ahitai.
Thus says the Lord God to my anointed Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, that nations might be obedient before him; and I will break through the strength of kings; I will open doors before him, and cities shall not be closed.
2 Hiche hi Pakiyin thusei, “Cyrus, nangma masanga keima cheng ting, lhangsang ho chu kasuhcham ding ahi. Keiman Sum’enga kisem kelkotpi jong chu kasuhchip’a, chule thih jol ho jong katanboh pai ding ahi.
I will go before you, and will level mountains: I will break to pieces brazen doors, and burst iron bars.
3 Chule keiman athim laiya guhthim gou kikhol ho chu kapeh ding nahi. Hiche kabol ding hi nangman keima Pakai, Israel Pathen, nakoupa chu kahi tihi nahetdohna ding ahi.
And I will give you the treasures of darkness, I will open to you hidden, unseen [treasures], that you may know that I, the Lord your God, that call you by name, am the God of Israel.
4 Chule hiche tong dinga hi keiman nangma ipi jeh’a kakou hija? Keima eina helou hella ipi jeh’a namina kakou nahi ham? Hiche hi kalhacha Jacob ka khohsah’a, ka lhendoh Israel jeh jal ahi.
For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel mine elect, I will call you by your name, and accept you: but you have not known me.
5 Keima Pakai chu kahin, Kei tailou Pathen adang aumpoi. Nangman neihet louhel jeng vang'in, Keiman galsatna’a dinga kagon tup chet nahi.
For I am the Lord God, and there is no other God beside me; I strengthened you, and you have not known me.
6 Hijeh’a hi vannoi pumpi, so lama kona lhum lam geija mihon Pathen dang aumpoi, keima Pakai kahin, adang aum lou ahet doh dingu ahi.
That they that [come] from the east and they that [come] from the west may know that there is no God but me. I am the Lord God, and there is none beside.
7 Keiman vah kasema, muthim jong kakoi ahi. Keiman phat phatpet le phat setpet kakoi ahi. Keima hi Pakai hiche ho jouse bolldoh’a chu kahi.
I am he that prepared light, and formed darkness; who make peace, and create evil; I am the Lord God, that does all these things.
8 Vo Vanho, kihongdoh’uvin, chule na chonphat nau chu hin bung lhauvin. Leiset hung kikeh len hen, chuteng huhhingna le chonphatna hung kilangdoh khomu diu ahi, keima Pakaiyin kasem ahiuve.
Let the heaven rejoice from above, and let the clouds rain righteousness: let the earth bring forth, and blossom [with] mercy, and bring forth righteousness likewise: I am the Lord that created you.
9 Asempa to kinel ngam hon itobang lung hemna ahin todiu hitam? Lei ngan’a kisem bel chun beldengpa chu akinelpi thei ngai jem? Lei nganin ameh nempa jah’a, kingah jengin, nabol khel tai tia asei ngai jem? Bel chun navet kilomo tave, tia aseidi ham?
What excellent thing have I prepared as clay of the potter? Will the plowman plow the earth all day? shall the clay say to the potter, What are you doing that you do not work, nor have hands? shall the thing formed answer him that formed it?
10 Chapang hung peng til chun apa jah’a, ‘Ipi jeh’a anapeng kahim?’Ahilouleh anu koma chu, ‘ipi dinga hitia hi neisem ham?’ati ngai jem?
As though one should say to [his] father, What will you beget me? and to his mother, What are you bringing forth?
11 Hiche hi Pakai, Israel Athengpa le na Sempa’n asei jin, “Kachate dinga kathilbol nadoh’a? Ka khut na ka thilbol’ho hi nangma thupeh jal ham?
For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, who has formed the things that are to come, Enquire of me concerning my sons, and concerning the works of my hands command me.
12 Keima leiset sempa le asunga chenga mihemte hin sema chu kahi. Ka khut tah’a van thanjol kahin jahdoh ahi. Asunga umho (ahsiho)jouse hi ka thupeh’a kon ahiuve.
I have made the earth, and man upon it: I with my hand have established the heaven; I have given commandment to all the stars.
13 Keiman chonphatna lunggon kanei subulhit dinga Cyrus katildoh’a, chule abol dingho kahil ding ahi. Ama’n tohman muding lung gellouva khopi asahdoh kit ding chule ka mite sohchang ho alhadoh ding ahi, tia Keima, Vana Galmi janel Pakai chun ka phondohsa ahitai.
I have raised him up [to be] a king with righteousness, and all his ways are right: he shall build my city, and shall turn the captivity of my people, not for ransoms, nor for rewards, says the Lord of hosts.
14 Hiche hi Pakaiyin aseiye: “Nangman Aigupta mite, Ethiopia mite le Sabea mite chunga vai nahom ding ahi. Amaho chu akivei nau thil puma nahenga hung dingu, chule anei hou chu aboncha nanga ding ahije. Amaho chu thih khaova nahena soh’a na kalai ding, na masanga hung dilsu’uva: ‘Pathen’in na’umpi, Ama bou hi Pathen khatseh chu ahin, Pathen adang aumpoi’ tia ahin sei dingu ahi.
Thus says the Lord of hosts, Egypt has laboured [for you]; and the merchandise of the Ethiopians, and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall pass over to you, and shall be your servants; and they shall follow after you bound in fetters, and shall pass over to you, and shall do obeisance to you, and make supplication to you: because God is in you; and there is no God beside you, [O Lord].
15 Tahbeh mongin, ei-Huhhingpa’u, Vo Israel Pathen, nangman kidangtah’in na natonge.
For you are God, yet we knew [it] not, the God of Israel, the Saviour.
16 Akhut them’a milim sema pangho chu kijumso ding ahiuve. Amaho abonuva lungsetna changlou diu ahi.
All that are opposed to him shall be ashamed and confounded, and shall walk in shame: you isles, keep a feast to me.
17 Hinla Pakaiyin ami Israelte chu, tonsot ahuhhingna’a ahuhdoh ding ahi. Tonsot khanglhun keija amaho hi Avella kijumso talouhel dingu chule atomo tah lou hel dingu ahi.
Israel is saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation: they shall not be ashamed nor confounded for evermore.
18 Ajeh iham itileh Pathen hi phatah ahi, chule vanho le leiset hi asemin chule ijakai ama muncheh’a akoi ahi. Aman vannoi hi chenna dingin asemin, agoh’a koiden agot ahipoi, Keima Pakai chu kahije ati.
Thus says the Lord that made the heaven, this God that created the earth, and made it; he marked it out, he made it not in vain, but formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord, and there is none beside.
19 Keiman jalhanga thutep hi ngamtah’a kaphondoh ahin, Keiman munthim ningkoi khatna aguh’a aw’thol’a thusei kahipoi. Keima hi eikimudoh joulou ding hitaleh, keiman Israel techu keima eihol dinguva jong kaseipeh lou ding ahi. Keima Pakaiyin thutah bou kaseija chule adih bou chu kaphondoh ahije.
I have not spoken in secret, nor in a dark place of the earth: I said not to the seed of Jacob, Seek vanity: I, even I, am the Lord, speaking righteousness, and proclaiming truth.
20 Hung unlang chule hung kikhomun, kol kimvella um chitin-nam tinte. Itobang loma ngol hiuva thinga lim asemuva chule ahuhhing thei lou dingu pathen ati hou henga tao hiu vem!
Assemble yourselves and come; take counsel together, you that escape of the nations: they that set up wood, [even] their graven image, have no knowledge, nor they who pray to gods that do not save.
21 Kihou toh unlang, nachung chang thu’u kiseilhah un. Kikhom khom’unlang ipi sei nom naneiju gel lhauvin. Hicheho hetna dinga hitih chanpihi kon ahetsah hija hitam? Limsem thu hoipenin ahung lhung dingho chu naseipeh khah mongu vem? Keima Pakai sei hilou ham? Ajeh chu Keima tilou Pathen achonpha’a le huhhingpu adang aumpoi. Kei tilou adang koima aumpoi.
If they will declare, let them draw near, that they may know together, who has caused these things to be heard from the beginning: then was it told you. I am God, and there is not another beside me; a just [God] and a Saviour; there is none but me.
22 Vannoi mite jousen huhhingna dingin eihin veu hen! Ajeh iham itileh keima Pathen kahi, koima dang aum dehpoi.
Turn you to me, and you shall be saved, you that [come] from the end of the earth: I am God, and there is none other.
23 Keima kamin panna kihahsel’a kahi. Keiman thutah ka seidoh ahitai, Keima ka thuseija nungtol kit ding ka hitapoi: Khup jouse kahenga hung dilsu dingu chule lei jousen Keima eiphondoh ding ahiuve.
By myself I swear, righteousness shall surely proceed out of my mouth; my words shall not be frustrated; that to me every knee shall bend, and every tongue shall swear by God,
24 Miho chun, “Pakai hi kei dinga ka chonphatna le ka thahatna ahi” tia aphondoh dingu ahi. Chule amatoh kinaho chu akoma hunguva jacha ding ahiuve.
saying, Righteousness and glory shall come to him: and all that remove them from their borders shall be ashamed.
25 Pakaiya Israel chu akhang khanga themchang ding ahiuve, chule Ama’a kisong ding ahiuve.
By the Lord shall they be justified, and in God shall all the seed of the children of Israel be glorified.
