Listen to me in silence, you people who live in lands beyond the sea. Let the nations regain their strength. Then let them come and speak, and let us join together for judgment.
2 Solam gam’a kona hiche Lengpa hi, Pathen kinbol thei dinga koi hin tildoh hija ham? Hichepa hin chitin- namtin galla ajo ding chule alenghou jong akeng toa noigep dinga phalna pea chu koi hin tem? Who has encouraged this one from the east who is called into God's service to do what is right? He gives him nations, and helps him trample kings underfoot. He makes them like dust with his sword, and turns them into chaff with his bow, blown before him on the wind.
3 Achena khahlou tol chu ahojeng vang'in, amaho chu ano mang soh keijin chule bitkei jin achepeh’e.
He chases them down, and goes on unharmed, not following the usual routes.
4 Phat akipat til’a patna khang hung lhung nalai dingho chunga hat tah’a tonga kou khom’a chu koi ahidem? Hiche hi keima Pakai, apatna le chaina, Keima kiti bou hi Kahi.
Who has achieved and done this, calling into existence each generation from the beginning of time? I, the Lord, the first and the last, I am the one.
5 Twikhanglen gal lama gam ho chun tijatah'in aveuve. Leiset mong lama umho jong atija’uvin chule galbol din akitil’uve.
The islands watch in fear, the distant lands tremble. They get together and consult.

They all help each other, encouraging one another to “Be strong!”
7 Khut them bolpan sana khengpa atilkhouvin, chule sehcha khenga pangpa chun thih khengpa atilkhouvin, Aphatai, ahung hoilheh jengtai, tin aseijuve. Chingthei tah in amahon asutouvin, akilonga le adet loulai umlouna dingin ama hon akil detchetnuve.
The craftsman encourages the goldsmith; the one who beats out the metal with a hammer encourages the one hitting the anvil, saying the soldering is good. They nail the idol down so it won't fall over.
8 Hinla kagolpa Abraham’a kona hung kikhai lha Jacob kalhen doh jal'a hi, Israel nangma kalhacha nahije.
But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, the ones I have chosen, descendants of my friend Abraham,

I brought you back from distant lands, I called you back from faraway places, telling you, “You are my servants.” I have chosen you, and I have not abandoned you.

Don't be afraid, for I am with you! Don't be frightened for I, your God, will make you strong, and I will certainly help you. I will support you with my strong hand, acting for what is right.
11 Vetan, namelma teho jouse khu chea lumho khu, lung nohphah’a chule kijum soa ahitauve. Nangma dou chan chu thitei ding chule imacha hung hilou ding ahije.
See—everyone who is angry with you will be ashamed and disgraced. Those who fight against you will end up as nothing and die.
12 Nangma jotei dinga kigoho chu navet jongleh mohseh’a vebep nahi ding ahitai. Nangma nadel khum ho chu imacha hilou dingu ahiuve.
Even though you look for your enemies, you won't find them. Those who attack you will become absolutely nothing.
13 Ajeh chu Keima, na Pakai, na Pathen keima tah in nangma khut jetlam katuhnai, chule najah’a kasei ahi, Kicha hih in, keima nangma panpi dinga hikoma uma kahi.
For I the Lord will grab you by the hand and tell you, “Don't be afraid! I myself will help you.
14 Nangma akineosah lungtol tobangbep, vo Jacob, Kicha hih uvin, Israel miteho, ajeh chu Keiman kapanpi ding nahiuve. Keima na Pakai, na Huhhingpa. Keima Israel Mitheng kitipa chu kahi.
Don't be frightened, Jacob, you little worm, you people of Israel, for I will help you,” declared the Lord your Savior, the Holy One of Israel.
15 Nangma chang chilna manchah thah, ha’hemtah tampi neija kangkui tobang nahi ding ahi. Nangman na melmate chu nabotel’a naloi khen ding, lhangsang tah tah hoa koldeh kisoh ding ahitai.
Look! I will make you into a new and sharp threshing device, with many pointed teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush the hills, turning them into chaff.
16 Amaho chu huilah’a napei le le ding, chule hui chun aboncha kei’uva asem mang hel dingu ahi. Chimpei jin amaho chu athe cheh dingu ahitai. Chutengleh nangma Pakaija nakipa ding, Israel tedinga Atheng Khat kitipa’a kithang at ding nahitai.
You will throw them into the air, the wind will carry them away, and a storm will scatter them. Then you will be happy in the Lord, and boast about the Holy One of Israel.
17 Mivaicha le ngaichat neihon twi aholleuva amujou lou uva, chule dangchah’a adangu agotlhah tengleh, Keima, Pakaijin amaho chu kahin hou ding, Keima, Israel te Pathen’in, itih channa jong kanungsun lou hel dingu ahitai.
The poor and needy search for water, but don't find any—their tongues are dry with thirst. I, the Lord, will respond to them; I, the God of Israel, won't abandon them.

I will open up rivers in the desolate highlands and springs in the valleys. I will make pools in the wilderness and springs in the desert.
19 Keiman gaso theilou nelphaja thingphung ho -ceder thing, thing gi, pahcha thing, Olive thing, thao thing, theichang phungle chah thing ho kaphu ding ahi.
I will plant cedars, acacias, myrtles, and olive trees in the desert. I will place evergreens in the desert, firs and box trees together.
20 Hiche kabol hin, hiche thilkidang kibol mu ho jousen ipi kiseina ahi ahetkhen thei diu, hiche kibol hi, Pakai Israel mite dinga Atheng Khat kitipa, asempa’a kon ahi.
In this way everyone can see and know, they can think about it and draw the conclusion that the it is the Lord who has done this, that the Holy One of Israel made it happen.
21 Na milim hou jeh un nachung thu kiseijun, tin Pakaijin aseije. Ama (milim sem thu) ho chun ipi abolthei’uvem hin vetsah’u hen, tin Israelte Lengpa chun aseije.
“Now you submit your case,” says the Lord. “Present your evidence,” says the King of Jacob.
22 Masang peh a chu ipi anasoh a ham? ti eima hon aphotchet igeltoh theina dinguvin amaho asei dingin kigo uhen. Ahilouva ahileh, hitia chu eihon ipi thil hungsoh thei ja ahi, amaho hin ikhonung dingu thu eihil diu angaije.
“Let them come and tell us what's about to happen. Let them explain the things of the past, so that we can think about them and discover the final outcome. Or they can tell us about the future.
23 Ahije, nikho hunglhung dinghoa ipi hungsoh ding neiseipeh’uvin. Chutah leh pathenho nahiu hetauvinge. Ahimongin, apha hihen, ase hijongleh nabolnom nom’u bol’uvin. Kalunguva kidangsahna chule kichatsahna lunggel sosahna dingin thil ipiham hinbollin.
Predict what's coming so we can know for sure that you are gods. At least do something, good or bad, to impress us when we see it.
24 Hinla nomlou. Nangho imacha nahihihbeh’uvin, imacha jong naboltheipouvin ahi. Nadeilhen hou jong amahotah chu akisuboh’uvin ahi.
But look at you! You're nothing, and you can't do anything! Anyone who chooses you is disgusting!
25 Hijongleh Sahlam gam'a konin Keiman lamkai khat kahin tildoh in ahi. Solam gam'a konin ama chu aminin kakouvin ahi. Keiman lengho le leng chapate ho chunga gal kajosah ding ahi. Aman amahohi bel dengpan leingan abolna banga amaho chu achilgoi ding ahi.
I have encouraged the one who comes from the north. He is from the east, and will respect me. He will tread on rulers as if they were mortar, like a potter treading on clay.
26 Tonna patna hiche hung lhung ding ahi tihi koiyin naseipeh ham? Hiche hi koiyin gaova aphon doh hiya, nangman athusei chu adih ahi tia natahsan jong ham? Koiman thucheng khat jong sei aumpoi.
Who announced this beforehand so that we could know about it? Who let us know in the past, so that now we could say: ‘He was right’? None of you announced it, none of you predicted it, and nobody heard you say a word!
27 Keiman Zion jah’a chun,’Ven! Panpina pe dinga chu ahung naije! Tia aseipeh masapen kahi. Keiman Jerusalem chu kipana thupha pole ding kasolpeh ding ahi.
I was the first to announce to Zion: ‘Look, here they are!’ I was the one who brought to Jerusalem the good news.
28 Na milim ho lah’a khatpenin jong nahilchah pouve. Keiman thudoh kabollin ahileh, thu kadoh phatnin khatchan jong donbutna ahinpepouve.
I look at these idols, and find there is no one who can say anything. None of them can give advice; when I ask them something, they can't even answer.
29 Ve’uvin, amaho hi abonchauvin angol ngensen ahiuvin, aphatchomna bei ahiuve. Na lim semthu hou jong hui tobanga agohkeo ahiuve.
Look at them! They're all evil, deceptive things. They can't do anything! They're just idols full of hot air!”
