< Isaiah 38 >

1 Hiche phat laichun Hezekiah chu thipai jeng ding dinmun in anatan ahileh Amoz chapa themgao Isaiah in ahung villin ahi. Lengpa chu hiche thuhil hi apen ahi: “Hiche hi Pakai in asei chu ahi: 'na insung a umding dolin umsah tan, ajehchu nangma nahung thiding ahitai. Hiche nat na'a kon'a hi nadam doh joulou ding ahitai.”
About that time was Hezekiah sicke vnto the death, and the Prophet Isaiah sonne of Amoz came vnto him, and sayd vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord, Put thine house in an order, for thou shalt dye, and not liue.
2 Hezekiah in hiche thuhil ajah phat chun, bang langa amai aheijin Pakai kom; a ataovin,
Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the Lord,
3 “Aw Pakai, neihin geldoh in, ichangeiya naga dia kana kitah hitam, lungkhat tah a nangma kana jen le'a, na lunglhaina bou kanabol jing hilou ham,” tin alhun haka in akaptan ahi.
And saide, I beseeche thee, Lord, remember nowe howe I haue walked before thee in trueth, and with a perfite heart, and haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore.
4 Hichun Pakai akonin Isaiah henga thuhil ahungin:
Then came the worde of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,
5 “Hezekiah henga chekit inlang gasei peh in, hiche hi napu napa David Pakai, Pathenin asei ahi: Na taona chu kana ngaijin, na nitlhi lon jong chu kana mun ahi, na hinkho kumsom leh nga kajoppeh beding,
Goe, and say vnto Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord God of Dauid thy father, I haue heard thy prayer, and seene thy teares: behold, I will adde vnto thy dayes fifteene yeeres.
6 chuleh nangma leh hiche khopi hi Assyria lengpa a kon'a kahuhdoh ding ahi. Ahi, hiche khopi hi kaveng bit ding ahi.
And I will deliuer thee out of the hand of the King of Asshur, and this citie: for I will defende this citie.
7 “Chuleh hichehi Pakai a kon'a melchihna hung kipe chu ahi. Akitepna jouse asuhbulhit ding ahi ti hettoh sahna ahije.
And this signe shalt thou haue of ye Lord, that ye Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken,
8 Keiman nisa lim Ahaz chunga lhumsah sachu kalsom ka nungchon ding ahi!” ati. Hitichun nisa lim chu kalsom in akinung chon tan ahi.
Beholde, I will bring againe the shadowe of the degrees (whereby it is gone downe in the diall of Ahaz by the sunne) ten degrees backeward: so the sunne returned by tenne degrees, by the which degrees it was gone downe.
9 Leng Hezekiah a hung dam sel phat in hiche jaila hi asunin ahi:

10 Keiman kaseijin, “Ka hinkho hoilai tah'a thina mun tua kalut ngaija ham? Kumkho kanei nalai chengse eiki lahpeh got na ham? (Sheol h7585)
I saide in the cutting off of my dayes, I shall goe to the gates of the graue: I am depriued of the residue of my yeeres. (Sheol h7585)
11 Keiman kaseijin, “Mihing gam'a kachen laisen Pakai Pathen chu a itih'a kamu kitlou ding ahitai. Kaloi kajol ho avel'a kanung mu kit tah louhel ding hiche vannoi a chengho tojong ka umkhom kit tahlou helding ahi.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, euen the Lord in the land of the liuing: I shall see man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
12 Hui le go in kelngoi chingho ponbuh asemmang bangin ka hinkho jong hi a kisem mangin ahi. Pon khonghon thilbu akon'a pat atan bangun, kahinkho hi ki suhchom'a ahi. Hetman louvin, ka hinkho hi ana kichaiya ahitai.
Mine habitation is departed, and is remoued from me, like a shepheards tent: I haue cut off like a weauer my life: he will cut me off from the height: from day to night, thou wilt make an ende of me.
13 Jan khovah in lungneng tah in kangah in, ahin keipi bahkai hon ei boh kabang jengin ahi. Hetman louvin ka hinkho chu abeitan ahi.
I rekoned to the morning: but he brake all my bones, like a lion: from day to night wilt thou make an ende of me.
14 Anangol bangin pelpa ham, ahlouleh va keng sang ham bangin kaham in, chuleh hiti chun vakhu puldou bangin pul kadou vin ahi. Panpi ngaichan vanlam kavet nan kamit teni akham lhatan ahi. Genthei in ka ume, Pakai, neipanpin.
Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourne as a doue: mine eies were lift vp on high: O Lord, it hath oppressed me, comfort me.
15 Ahin ipi kasei theiding ham? Ajehchu amatah in hiche natna hi ahin lhut ahije. Tun kakum lhung keija kineosah tah a lam kajot ding ahi. Ajeh chu hiche lung gentheina hi kana hetsa ahitai.
What shall I say? for he hath said it to me, and he hath done it: I shall walke weakely all my yeeres in the bitternesse of my soule.
16 Pakai na thununna hi aphai, ajehchu hinna leh damtheina hi aphai. Ajehchu hinna leh damtheina ahi. Damna neipe kitnin, nei hinsah kittan ahi!
O Lord, to them that ouerliue them, and to all that are in them, the life of my spirite shalbe knowen, that thou causedst me to sleepe and hast giuen life to me.
17 Ahi, hiche lung gentheina kaum chu aphai, ajehchu nangman thina'a konin nei huhdoh in chuleh ka chonset na jouse nei ngaidam in ahi.
Beholde, for felicitie I had bitter griefe, but it was thy pleasure to deliuer my soule from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sinnes behinde thy backe.
18 Ajeh chu athin athin navahchoi thei lou ding ahi; aw sangtah'a na vahchoi thei lou diu ahi. Thina lhankhuh jonsuh hon, na kitahna'a kinepna anei tah lou diu ahi. (Sheol h7585)
For the graue cannot confesse thee: death cannot praise thee: they that goe downe into the pit, cannot hope for thy trueth. (Sheol h7585)
19 Tunia keiman ka vahchoi banga hi mihing hon bou na vahchoi thei diu ahi. Tahsan umtah nahi khangkhat nakon khang kitna aseipeh uvin ahi.
But the liuing, the liuing, he shall confesse thee, as I doe this day: the father to the children shall declare thy trueth.
20 Ngaito tem in-Pakai chu ei sudam din kigosan aume! Nitin ka hinkhon tumging tothon Pakai chu ka vahchoi ding ahi- Pakai Houin na.
The Lord was ready to saue me: therefore we will sing my song, all the dayes of our life in the House of the Lord.
21 Isaiah in Hezekiah lhacha natong ho kom'a ana seijin, “Theichang theiba ho akonin tina lou semun lang, chuleh a uilut kim vel'a nu uvin lang, chuteng chuleh Hezekiah chu hung damdoh ding ahi.”
Then said Isaiah, Take a lumpe of drye figs and lay it vpon the boyle, and he shall recouer.
22 Chuin Hezekiah in adongin, “Pakai Houin'a kache ding ahi tiphot chetna melchih na chu ipiham?”
Also Hezekiah had said, What is ye signe, that I shall goe vp into the House of the Lord?
