Isaiah 21
1 Babylon chung changa hiche thuhil hi kahenga ahunge- twikhanglen gal'a nelgam: Nelgam a konin vangsetna nasatah ging lullul iin nachunga chudin ahungsuh in, Negev akon chingpei in anen aboh apeilut abangin ahi.
The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; [so] it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.
2 Tijat umtah khat gaovin kamun ahi: Mi lhem lha pan mi alheplhah leh misumang pan mi asuhmang kamun ahi. Chetouvin Elamite mite, Medeste, gasat unlang umkhum un. Babylon ten hahsatna asosah u kasuh beiding ahi.
A grievous vision is declared to me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler plundereth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all her sighing have I made to cease.
3 Ka oisung anan, meiya kikahsah bangin ana e. Gimna sangtah natna kachunga ahung um'in, naosonat vei kabangin ahi. Pathen thilgon ho kajah teng katha alhasam in ahi; Muding jong kichat nan kadimin ahi.
Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing [of it]; I was dismayed at the seeing [of it].
4 Ka lunggel a kichi ah in, kalungchang alhai thojeng in ahi. Nilhah hung hiding ngahlel in ka um'in, ahin khojin ding tijatnan kadim kitnin ahi.
My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear to me.
5 Ven! Anja nehding lentah in agong un ahi. Samul pon sa tah mipi ho touna din aphaovin ahi. Mijousen aneuvin, adonuvin ahi. Ahin mang gam diu ahi! Galvon ho kimat unlang, galsat din kigou vun. Nangho nahung sat u ahi!
Prepare the table, watch in the watch-tower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, [and] anoint the shield.
6 Hiche kah sungin, Pakai in kahenga ahung seije, “Khopi bang ho a khongah koijun. Mu aneile hung ao hen.
For thus hath the LORD said to me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.
7 Sakol hon akai sakol kangtalai ho vehen lang, sangan leh sangonsang chunga touho phaten vehen. Khongah pachu kiging sadem in umhen.”
And he saw a chariot [with] a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, [and] a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed:
8 Hichun khongahpa chu ahung ao in, “Ka Pakai, nisim in khongana chungsang a kana dingin, jan simin ka khonga namun a kana umden jin ahi.”
And he cried, a lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watch-tower in the day time, and I am set in my ward whole nights.
9 Tun achainan-ven! Sakol min sakol kangtalai ahin kai chunga toupa khu ahunge. “Hichun khongah pan ahinsei jin, “Babylon chu alhutai, alhutai! Babylon lim semthu hojouse tol lhanga akisukeh gam tai!”
And behold, here cometh a chariot of men, [with] a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken to the ground.
10 Vo kamite, ka chilsa leh asi banga kajap dohsa, van janel Pakai seiho jouse chu kasei peh nahitao ve, Israel Pathen in eiseipeh ho jouse chu.
O my threshing, and the corn of my floor; that which I have heard from the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared to you.
11 Edom chung chang thuhil chu kahenga ahunge; Edom mikhat nin eikou jing jeng in, “Khongahpa jingkah hung lhunna ding sot nalai am? Etih leh jan hi kichai ding ham?”
The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
12 Khongahpan adonbut in, “Jingkah chu ahunge, ahin jan hi hunglhung paiding ahitai. Doh kit ding nanop leh, hung kilen lang dongin.”
The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will inquire, inquire ye: return, come.
13 Arabia chung changa thuhil hitihin ahung e: Dedan akon aw kholjin ho, Arabia nelgam a chun kiselun
The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye traveling companies of Dedanim.
14 O Tema mite, mipi dangchah hodin twi hin domun, gal jam thachol hodin nehding an peuvin.
The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they met with their bread him that fled.
15 Amaho hi chemjam akon, thalpi akon, leh gal tijat akon hung jam ahiuve.
For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.
16 Pakai in kahenga hiti hin aseije, “Kum khat sunga, nisim a simin, Kedar loupina jouse hung bei ding ahi.
For thus hath the LORD said to me, Within a year, according to the years of a hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:
17 Thalkap mi hangsan themkhat bou sohcha ding ahi. Keima, Pakai, Israel Pathen in kaphon doh ahi!”
And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel hath spoken [it].
