< Hebrew 6 >
1 Hijehchun eihon Christa thudol thubul lam avel vel'a kihilna ngatau hite. Chusangin masotjou hitin hetna lam'ah pilhin ding gouhite. Tahbeh mongin eihon thilsebolnaa kona lunghei chule Pathen a itahsan nau ngaplhah thudol a thubul lam kithah pat kitna ingaicha tapouve.
Therefore leaving the teaching of the first principles of Christ, let’s press on to perfection—not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,
2 Baptize chan thudol, khutngap thudol, mithi thokitna, chule tonsot thutanna thudol a kihilbena nangaichat u ahitapoi. (aiōnios )
of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
3 Chule hitia hi Pathen phatsah ahileh, eihon aban hetbena lam imasot dingu ahiye.
This will we do, if God permits.
4 Ijeh inem itileh khatvei lhagao mitvahna neisa–vanlam thilphaho hetna nei chule Lhagao Theng chankhompi hitasa ho,
For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
5 Pathen thu aphatna ho tepkha a chule ahunglhung ding khangho umdidol hetna neitasa, (aiōn )
and tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, (aiōn )
6 chujouva Pathen a kona kiheimang ho chu: Pathen Chapa sangnomlou, Ama chu thingpel to avela akilbeh kit ahin, chule mihonpi lah a jachatsahna'a atahlah ahitah jeh chun akisihkitna dinguva hinlepui chu thil hahsatah ahi.
and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.
7 Vana kon go hunglha chun leiset achapnouvin chule loubol mi dingin Pathen phattheina gapha ahin sodoh in ahi.
For the land which has drunk the rain that comes often on it and produces a crop suitable for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receives blessing from God;
8 Hinlah lou chun lingphung le nangkai hinsodoh henlang hileh, panabei hiding ahitai. Loubolpa chun hiche lou chu themmo chanpai intin chule ahalvam jeng ding ahitai.
but if it bears thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
9 Sopi deitahte, keihon hitihin sei jengu jongleng, nangho chungchang thu akisei ahipoi ti kaheuve. Keihon katahsanu chu aphajo, nangho huhhing chana thudola hinte tihi ahi.
But, beloved, we are persuaded of better things for you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we speak like this.
10 Ijeh ham itileh Pathen chondih louva ahipoi. Aman nanghon ichangeiya ama dinga kisalunggima nahiu chule nanghon tugeija naboljomu atahsan dangho nakhohsahnau navetsah u chu asuhmil lou ding ahi.
For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.
11 Kagelkhoh tah u chu nahinkhou umsungin atahsan midangho chu ngailu jomun, hichun nakinepnau chu atah hung himong ding ahinai ti aphotchet teina ding ahije.
We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end,
12 Chutileh nangho lhagao lama amol le ima khohsalou nahilou dingu ahitai. Chusanga Pathen thutep loding ho tahsan le thoh hat umchan nungjuiya nahi dingu ahi.
that you won’t be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherited the promises.
13 Vetsahnan, Pathen in Abraham koma thutep ananeiye. Ama sanga hettohsah lenjo dang aum tahlou jeh in Pathen chu Amatah minin kihahselin,
For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself,
14 “Keiman thonlou hela phatthei kaboh ding, chule keiman nachilhah ho chu simjou louva katamsah ding ahi,” ati.
saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”
15 Chuti chun Abraham'in thohhattah in angah'in, chule Pathen thutep chu achangtai.
Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 Hitia hi mihon kihahselna aneiji tenguleh amaho sanga lenjoa chun akihahsel jiuvin chule hiche kihahselna chu kidohna ngailouvin akiphutdetjin ahi.
For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
17 Pathen Amatah jonghin athutep chang hon alung akhel kit louna photchennan, kihahselna achun amajong aumin ahi.
In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath,
18 Hitia hi Pathen in Athutep le akihahselna chu apehdoh gel ahije. Hicheteni hi khelkit thei ahitapoi, ajeh chu Pathen joutheilou ahije. Hijeh a hi, Ama henga kipelut a kiselho chun kinepna imasanguva um chu ituhchah jinguva ahileh kisonna phatah ineitheiyu ahi.
that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.
19 Hiche kinepna hi ilhagao dinguva kingapdetna a phatah le tahsan umtah ahin, hichun pondal noiya Pathen muntheng sunga eipuilut theiyu ahi.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil,
20 Yeshua chu chuche muna eiho dinga analut a eiho dinga tonsot thempu chungnung Melchizedek dinmuna uma ahitai. (aiōn )
where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
