In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,

Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
4 Ahin tun Pakai in aseiye: Zerubbabel hat’in. Thempu chungnung Jehozadak chapa Jeshua hat’in. Gamsunga umcheng mipi teho nang ho jong hat’uvin. Chuleh tun kipat-un, tong pan’un, ajeh chu keiman ka umpi naove tin Pakai Van Sepai chun aseiye.
Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
5 Egypt nahin dalhah uva, kakitepna bang bangin, kalhagao nalah uva, aum jing nai. Hijeh chun kichah hih hel’un.”
According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
6 Ijeh-inem itihleh Pakai Van Sepai chun hitin aseiye: Chomkhat jouleh van le leiset kaholing kit ding, twikhanglen leh gam go lai jouse jong ka holing ding ahi.
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
9 Masanga aloupina sanga hiche houin hi hung loupi jo cheh ding ahi, tin Pakai Van Sepai chun seiyin ahi.
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
10 Darius lengvaipoh kal kumni lhin kum, Ollha nisim som le get nin Pakai in themgao Haggai henga thu ahin seiye:
In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
11 “Hiche hi Pakai van sepai chun asei ahi. Hiche dan thupeh chung changa thudoh ho chu thempu ho dongin:
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
12 ‘nangho laha koipen hamkhat chun akithensosa satheng chu asangkhol chol a podoh henlang chule asongkhol chol chun changlhah ham ahilouleh anme ham, lengpi twi ham, olive thao twi ham ahilou jongleh nehthei khat pen pen chu tongkha taleh hichun thensah uvin tem? Thempu hon adonbut uvin, “Thensah ponte,” atiuve.
If one shall bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt shall touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any food, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
13 Chuin Haggai in adong in, “Mihem khat mithi long atohkhat jeh'a dan dungjuiya aboh a um chun hiche neh le chah ho chu tongkha taleh, abohsah ding hitam?” Chuin thempu hon adonbut uvin, “Henge abohsah ahitai,” atiuve.
Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body shall touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
14 Chuin Haggai in adonbut in, “Hiche mipi le nam mite jong chu tobang chu ahiuve, tin Pakai in aseiye. Athilbol jouseu ahin chuleh athil todohu jouseu abon'a achonset uvin asuhboh sohji ahi.
Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.
15 Pakai houin sahna dinga abul naphudoh masangun nachung uva ipi pi anasoh ham vephaovin.
And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:
16 Na lou sohu thiltena som ni dinga nakinepiu chu som bou naki mubep un ahi. Lengpi twi tena somnga childoh dinga naginchat’u chu somni bou nate doh jouvin ahi.
Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the winepress to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.
17 Keiman nalouma jouseu ka motlhah sah’in, nget kaneh sah’in chuleh gelchang kalhah sah’in natohgau muchi chivo jouse kasumang in ahi. Hiche jouse nungin jong, ka henga nahung kile nom hih laiyuve, tin Pakai in aseiye.”
I smote you with blighting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.
18 Phatechan tuni nikho, Ollha nisim som le get ni, hiche nikho, Pakai Houin ding abul kiphu nikho hi ngaitouvin. Lunggil tahin gel’uvin.
Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD’S temple was laid, consider it.

Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.
20 Chuche nikho ma ma, Ollha nisim som le get nikhon Pakai in anivei chanan Haggai henga thu ahinsei kit in:
And again the word of the LORD came to Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,
21 Judah gamvaipo Zerubbel henga seipehin, Keiman vanho jouse le leiset kaholing ding koncha ahitai.
Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
22 Leng gam jouse leh alaltounau jouse akhup athal’a kale ding, Sagol kangtalai le achunga tou jouse jong akhup athal’a kale ding ahi. Sakol jouse lhalhop soh ding chuleh achunga tou jouse amaho le amaho kithat todiu ahi.
And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
23 “Hichu ahung lhung teng, ka lhacha Shealtiel chapa Zerubbabel, jabolna kapeh ding nahi, tin Pakai Van Sepai chun aseiye. Keiman mohor kisemna khutjem banga kasem ding nahi, ajeh chu kalhendohsa nahi tai, tin Pakai Van Sepai chun aseiye. Pakai Van Sepai, Keiman tahin kasei ahi!” ati.
In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
