And YHWH says to Noah, “Come, you and all your house, into the Ark, for I have seen you [are] righteous before Me in this generation;
2 Nangman gancha theng lah a konin kop sagi, kop khat a achal khat le anu khat cheh, chule gancha thenglou lah a kon a jong kop sagi ma kop khat a achal khat le anu khat cheh ki kailut inlang,
you take seven pairs from all the clean beasts to yourself, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean—two, a male and its female;
3 Chule chunga leng vachate lah a jong kop sagi cheh na puilut ding amaho lah a chu achal khat le anu khat akopto cheh ana puilut ding hichengse chu twisang let a kona nahinso thei na dinga navah a chikhai dinga nahing hoi ding ahi.
also, seven pairs from [each] bird of the heavens, a male and a female, to keep alive seed on the face of all the earth;
4 Ni sagi jouva pat go hatah a leiset chunga ka juhsah pan ding ahitai, chule go chu ni somli le jan somli sunga ka juhsah ding leiset chunga umjouse le ahing thei jouse ka suh mang hel ding ahi tai,”ati.
for after seven more days I am sending rain on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights, and have wiped away all the substance that I have made from off the face of the ground.”
5 Hiti chun Noah injong Pathen in athupeh bang bang chun abonchan abolsoh kei tan ahi.
And Noah does according to all that YHWH has commanded him.
6 Leiset chunga twisang ahunglet chun Noah chu kum jagup ana lhingtan ahi.
And Noah [is] a son of six hundred years, and the flood of waters has been on the earth.
7 Hichun Noah chu achapate toh, ajinu toh, chule amoute toh twisanglen na kon'a ahoidoh theina diuvin kong sunga alut tai.
And Noah goes—and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him—into the Ark, out of the presence of the waters of the flood;
8 Satheng ho lah a ahin, sa thenglou ho lah a konin jong tol'a kithol thoho lah akonin jong,
from the clean beast, and from the beast that [is] not clean, and from the bird, and of everything that is creeping on the ground,
9 Akop kop a anu khat le achal khat cheh, Pathen in Noah ahoulim pi nabang chun kong sunga chun Noah koma avahlut cheh tauvin ahi.
they have come to Noah two by two into the Ark, a male and a female, as God has commanded Noah.
10 Chuin ni sagi lhin jou chun twisanglen go ahung ju pantan, leiset chung chu gotwi in achup tai.
And it comes to pass, after seven days, that waters of the flood have been on the earth.
11 Noah chu kum jagup alhin kum lhani lhin na ah, leinoi ja twi umjouse ahung put tan, chule vanthamjol apat in hatah in go alon tho tai.
In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day all [the] fountains of the great deep have been broken up, and the network of the heavens has been opened,
12 Ni somli le jan somli sung in go chu tang lou hel'in hatah in ajujom jing tan ahi.
and the shower is on the earth [for] forty days and forty nights.
13 Hiche nitah chun Noah ahin, Noah chapate Shem, Ham, chule Japheth ahi uvin, Noah jinu ahin, amoute thum ahi uvin abonchauvin kong sunga alut tauve.
On this very same day Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, went into the Ark—
14 Amaho ahi uvin, kong sunga um gamsa hang ahin insa gancha alen aneo chule tol'a aop'a kitholtho ho jong ama ama jat dungjui cheh in, vachate jong ama ama chilhah dungjui a vacha namkim a kon ahiuve.
they, and every living creature after its kind, and every beast after its kind, and every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind (every bird, every wing).
15 Akop akop in amaho chu kongsung ahin jon cheh un, hichun avetsah chu ahile hinna neiya tahsa hing ahiuve ti photchet na ahi.
And they come to Noah, into the Ark, two by two of all the flesh in which [is] a living spirit;
16 Hichu gancha ho lah a anu khat le achal khat ahung lut soh phat un Pathen in Noah atep peh bang chun, Pakai Pathen in kot akhah tai.
and they that are coming in, male and female of all flesh, have come in as God has commanded him, and YHWH closes [it] for him.
17 Chujouvin ni somli le jan somli sung in hatah in twisanglen chu akhang in leiset chung jouse achup tan, hichun kong chu twi in ahin potou cheh cheh tan leiset sanga sang jon alet dohtai.
And the flood is on the earth [for] forty days, and the waters multiply and lift up the Ark, and it is raised up from off the earth;
18 Twi chu nasa tah in akhang tul tul jeng tan ahile kong chu twi chunga akitol le len ahi.
and the waters are mighty and multiply exceedingly on the earth; and the Ark goes on the face of the waters.
19 Achaina geiyin twi chun mol jouse lah a asangpen geiyin abonchan achup soh heltai.
And the waters have been very, very mighty on the earth, and all the high mountains are covered which [are] under the whole heavens;
20 Twi chu akhanbe jing in mol jouse lah a asangpen jong chu tong som ni jen thuh-in achup mang hel tai.
the waters prevailed from above the mountains, and cover [them] fifteen cubits;
21 Hijeh chun leiset chunga um ahing thei ahaithei jouse, chunga leng vachate ahin, in na kivah gancha ho ahin, gam'a gamsa ho ahiuvin, ahon hon a kiloiya leiset chung kitol le ganhing namkim ahiuvin chule mihemte geiyin agam soh heltai.
and all flesh expires that is moving on the earth, among bird, and among livestock, and among beast, and among every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth, and all mankind;
22 Ima jouse leiset chunga um kiti pou anahhom a hinna hu neiya haithei jouse abonchan athi gam soh tan ahi.
all in whose nostrils [is] breath of a living spirit—of all that [is] in the dry land—have died.
23 Pathen in leiset chunga thil ahing thei jouse asumang sohhel tai. Mihem ho jouse, gancha ho, ganhing gamsa ho, tolgo chunga lamjot thei jouse, chunga leng vachate jouse abon'in athi soh hel tai. Ahin hichea sohcha a hing doh Noah le a insung mite chule kong sunga um ganhing anu khat le achal khat um ho bou ahiuve.
And all the substance that is on the face of the ground is wiped away—from man to beast, to creeping thing, and to bird of the heavens; indeed, they are wiped away from the earth, and only Noah is left, and those who [are] with him in the Ark;
24 Hiche twisanglen chu leiset chung ni jakhat le nisom nga sung achup me.
and the waters are mighty on the earth [for] one hundred and fifty days.
