(This is/I will now give) a list of the descendants of Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. They had many children after the flood.
2 Japheth chilhah ho chu Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech chule Tiras ahiuve.
The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
3 Gomer chilhah ho chu Ashkenaz, Riphath chule Togarmath ahiuve.
The sons of Gomer were Askenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 Javan chilhah ho chu Elishah, Kittim, chule Rodanim ahiuve.
The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 Hiche apat chun amaho chilhah chengse chu leiset ahin toupha pan tauvin ama ama hithei na leh aphung achang akaidol chehin ama nam hina dol chehin acheng tauvin ahi.
Those sons and their families who were descended from Javan lived on the islands and on the land close to the [Mediterranean] Sea. Their descendants became tribes, each with its own language and clans and territory.
6 Ham chilhah ho chu Cush, Mizraim, Put, chule Canaan ahiuve.
The descendants of Ham were Cush, Egypt, Put, and Canaan.
7 Cush chilhah ho chu Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, chule Sabteca ahiuve.
The descendants of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The descendants of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
8 Cush kitipa hin leiset chunga mihat ahung pang masapen Nimrod chu ahing'in ahi.
Another one of Cush’s descendants was Nimrod. Nimrod was the first person on earth who became a mighty warrior.
9 Hiche phat laiya chu vannoiya gamlen hat sakap them pen ahung hin, chule Pathen ging tah mi jong ana hi'e, hijeh chun mihon Nimrod banga gamlen hat sakapthem pen ahi tin aseiuve.
Yahweh saw that he had become (OR, caused him to become) a great hunter. That is why people say to a great hunter, “Yahweh (sees that you are/has caused you to be) a great hunter like Nimrod.”
10 Hichun Cush chun alenggam chu Babylon khopi sunga Babylonia tin ahin semdoh'in, hiche khopi ho chu Erech, Akkad, chule Calneh ahiuve.
Nimrod became a king who ruled in Babylonia. The first cities over which he ruled were Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh.
11 Aman hiche akon chun Assyria ajonin hikom achun Nineveh khopi aphut doh in aban'a Rehobothir khopi ahin Calah khopi jong ahin phut doh kit e.
From there he went [with others] to Assyria and built the cities of Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,
12 Chuban chun Nineveh le Calah khopi teni kikah achun Resen khopi aphut doh in khopi lentah ahi.
and Resen. Resen was a large city between Nineveh and Calah.
13 Mizraim chu Ludite, Anamite, Naphuhite chule Lehabite ho cheng pa ahi.
Ham’s son, Egypt, became the ancestor of the Lud, Anam, Lehab and Naphtuh,
14 Pathrusim ho, Casluhim ho, chule Caphtorim ho a kon a chu Philistine te hung kon dohna chu ahi.
Pathrus, Casluh and Caphtor people-groups. The Philistine people were descended from Casluh.
15 Canaan chapa tahpen chu Sidon, Sidon chilhah te hung kon dohna ho chu ahiuvin chule Hit chilhah ho jong Canaan akon ahiuve.
Ham’s youngest son, Canaan, became the father of Sidon, who was his eldest son, and Heth, his younger son.
16 Jebus ho, Amor ho, Girgash ho ahin,
Canaan was also the ancestor of the Jebus, Amor, Girgash,
17 Hivi teho, Arki ho, Sin ho ahin,
Hiv, Ark, Sin,
18 Arvad ho, Zemar ho, chule Hamath ho jouse hi ama hinsa cheh ahiuve, ahin khonung in Canaan insung kon mite chu gamtina akithe cheh soh kei uvin ahi.
Arved, Zemar and Hamath people-groups. Later the descendants of Canaan dispersed over a large area.
19 Hiche apat chun Canaan gamgi chu Sidonna pat Gerar lang jonin Gaza geiyin aki lhung lut peh in, Sodom lang jon in aki lhung in, Gomorrah aphan, Admah ahin phan, chule Zeboiim ahop in Lasha geiyin akilhung lut peh-e.
Their land extended from Sidon [city] in the north as far south as Gaza [town], and then to the east as far as Gerar [town], and then farther east to Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim [towns], and even as far as Lasha [town].
20 Amaho cheng hi Ham chilhah ho ahi uvin, ama ama insung dungjuile, apao dung juile, agam dung jui chuleh ajat dung jui uva ahiye.
Those are the descendants of Ham. They became groups that had their own clans, their own languages, and their own land.
21 Shem chate pasal ho jouse apunbe in ama chu Japheth upa ahin, Ebel chilhah ho jouse hi Shem'a kona hung kon doh cheh ahiuve.
Shem, the older brother of Japheth, became the father of Eber, and the ancestor of all the descendants of Eber.
22 Shem chilhah ho chu ahile Elam, Asshur, Arphaxed, Lud chule Ram ahiuve.
The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.
23 Ram chilhah ho chu ahile Uz, Hul, Gether, chule Mash ahiuve.
The sons of Aram were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
24 Arphaxad chu Shelah pa ahin, chule Shelah chu Ebel pa ahiye.
Arphaxad became the father of Shelah. Shelah became the father of Eber.
25 Ebel chun cha ni aneiyin amasa pachu Peleg (Hichu kisuh khenna tina ahi) ahi, Ijeh inem itile ama phatlai a chu vannoi chu ama ama paotho doh dungjuiya ahung umdoh laitah chu ahi, chule asopipa min chu Joktan ahi.
Eber became the father of two sons. One of them was named Peleg, [which means ‘division’], because during the time he lived, people on [MTY] the earth became divided and scattered everywhere. Peleg’s younger brother was Joktan.

Joktan became the ancestor of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
28 Obal ahin, Abimael ahin, Sheba ahin,
Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
29 Ophir ahin, Havilah ahin chule Jobab ahiuve. Amaho chengse hin Joktan chilhah cheh ahi uve.
Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All those people were descended from Joktan.
30 Ama hon gam ki-vaipohna atoupha u-chu Mesha apat'in Sephar lang jonin ahung kilhung in, nisolam'a thinglhang gamsung geiyin ahung kilhunglut peh-in ahi.
The areas in which they lived extended from Mesha westward to Sephar, which is in the (hill country/area that has a lot of hills).
31 Amaho jouse hi Shem chilhah ahi uvin, a phungle achang, a pao tho'u dung jui le, agam dung jui le, ajat dungjui uva Shem chilhah te ahi uve.
They are descendants of Shem. They became groups that had their own clans, their own languages, and their own land.
32 Hiche phungle chang hung kimin phah se hi Noah chate a kon'a chi le nam hung kisem doh ama gui penna dung juiya vannoiya nam jouse hi hiche phungpi a kon'a twisanglet jouva patna hung um doh ahi.
All those groups descended from the sons of Noah. Each group had its own (genealogy/record of people’s ancestors) and each became a separate ethnic group. Those ethnic groups formed after the flood and spread all around the earth.
