< Galatia 4 >
1 Hiti lam hin gel uvin. Mipa khat chu athia chule achate neo nalai ho dinga goulo ding adalhah peh tah a ahi jongleh, hiche chapang ho chu apau nei jouse chu chang diu hinama jongleh, ahung letdoh kahse uva chu soh ho sanga achungnun johnau ima chom aum deh pouve.
Now, I say, as long as the heir is a minor, he differs nothing from a bondman, though he be lord of all.
2 Amaho chu apauvin ateppeh-u kum alhin kahse uva aching hoiyuva pangho thu thua chu nung ding ahiuve.
For he is under tutors and stewards, until the time before appointed by his father.
3 Eiho dinmun jong Christa ahung masanga chutobangma chu inahiu ahi. Eiho hi chapang ho banga chu hiche vannoiya hi lhagao thubul ho thudol a soh changa ina hiuve.
So, also, we, whilst we were minors, were in bondage under the elements of the world.
4 Hinlah aphat chet chu ahung hi phat in, Pathen in Achapa chu numeiya kona hungpeng din, danthu noiya kipelut din ahinsol tan ahi.
But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 Eiho Dan-thua sohchangsa ho hi Achatea eisem uva, chamlhat ihina dingun, Pathen in Achapa ahinsol tai.
that he might redeem those under law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 Chule eiho Achate ihitah jeh uvin, Pathen in Achapa Lhagao chu ilung sung uva ahinsolin, Abba Pa tia koutheina einei sah tauve.
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Tun nang chu soh nahi tapon, Pathen Cha tahbeh nahi ahitai. Chule nangma Acha nahitah jeh a, Pathen in agoulo dinga nasem ahitai.
So that you are no more a bondman, but a son, and if a son, then heir of God through Christ.
8 Chidang namdang nanghon Pathen nahet masang uva, auma jong hilou pathen ho soh a chu napanu anahi.
But formerly indeed, when you knew not God, you served those, who by nature were not gods.
9 Hiti chun tun Pathen nahe tauvin (ahiloule Pathen het nahi tauve tileng), iti dana chu nangho avela hiche vannoiya lhinlelna le lhagao thubul ho pannabei thudola sohchang kit dinga naki pehlut dingu ham?
But now, having acknowledged God, (or rather, being acknowledged by God, ) why do you turn back again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which again, a second time, you incline to be in bondage?
10 Nanghon Pathen lunglhaisahna dinga nikho ho ahiloule lhaho ahiloule kum kihei chin ahiloule kum ho geiya nanit u ahi.
You carefully observe days and moons, and seasons and years.
11 Nangho katijat peh uhi, ijemtia nangho chunga katohgim nau jouse hi mohseh hibep a hitam tihi ahi.
I am afraid of you, lest perhaps, I have labored in vain among you.
12 Sopi deitahte, kangeh nomnau chu nangho hicheho a kona na chamlhatna ding uva, keima tah jong nangho chidang namdang te banga kaum hi, hiche danho a kon in keima bang hin ongtholun. Keiman nangho henga Pathen Thu kahung seiphong masat chun alam louvin neibolse pouve.
Brethren, I pray you, be as I am: for I am you are. You have injured me in nothing.
13 Keiman naheng uva Kipana Thupha kahin poh chun keima kana dampoi ti na geldoh jing diu ka gingchai.
You know, indeed, that in weakness of the flesh, I declared the gospel to you at first.
14 Ahin kadin mun umdan chun neisan louna ding uva lhep patepna nato jeng vangun, nang hon nei nahsahmo bol pouvin ahilouleh keiya konin nakihei mang pouve. Chuti louvin neina sanguvin, nanghon neina lhunsah uvin, chule Pathen vantil khat bangin ahilouleh Christa Yeshua Amatah nasan diu bangtah chun neibol phauvin ahi.
Yet that trial of mine, which was in my flesh, you did not despise; neither did you reject me, but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
15 Chuche pet a nakipa nau le na thanop nau lungthim chu tua hoilamba hitam? Hithei bon henlang hileh namit u chu nakaldoh uva keima neipeh jeng thei diuva kaginchat nahiuvin ahi.
What, then, was your happiness! for I bear you witness that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes, and given them to me.
16 Tua hi keiman thutah kaseipeh jeh uva namelma uva kapan hitam?
Am I, then, become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
17 Chuche thuhil dihlou ho chun nangho lung lhaisahna dingin akiha bol uvin, hinla alunggon'u apha ahipoi. Amaho chun nangho keima a kona nachom khen jeng got uhi, nang hon amaho bou najuina dingu ageljeh u ahi.
They love you ardently, not honorably. Yes, they wish to exclude us, that you may love them ardently.
18 Mi khat touvin nangho dinga thilpha bolnomna aneiya ahileh, apha jenge; keiman nangho kaumpi pet jeng bou hilouvin aman boljing hen.
But it is honorable to be ardently in love with a good man at all times, and not merely when I am present with you.
19 Vo kacha deitahte! Keiman nangho dinga naosonat thohlel banga kathoh gim kit hi nanghoa Christa lim asodoh kahsea ding hiya ahi.
My little children, for whom I travail in birth again till Christ be formed in you;
20 Keima hi nangho toh tupet'a kaum khom hileh kati lheh e, chule kapao awcheng kakhel nome. Hinlah hitobanga kigamlatna hin ipi lamsanga kakithopi thei dingu kahe jengpoi.
I could wish, indeed, to be present with you now, and to change my speech; for I am exceedingly in doubt concerning you.
21 Danthu noiya umnom hon neiseipeh un, Danthun ipi mong asei nahet chet mong hinam?
Tell me, you who wish to be under the law, do you hear the law?
22 Pathen Lekhabun aseiye: Abraham'in chapa ni aneiyin, khat chu sohnu akon ahin chule khat chu numei ongthol nua kon ahi.
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons: one by the bondmaid, and one by the free woman.
23 Sohnu chapa chu mihem lungtup a Pathen thutep suh bulhit gotna ahi. Hinla aji tahbeh nu chapa chu Pathen thutep dungjuiya guilhungah ahi.
But he, indeed, who was of the bondmaid, was begotten according to the flesh; but he who was of the free woman, was through the promise.
24 Hiche numei teni hi Pathen kitepna ni vetsahna ahi lhone. Numei masanu Hagar hi Sinai Mol'a kona Danthua asohchan nau chu vetsahna ahi.
Which things are allegorized: for these women are two institutions; the one, indeed, from Mount Sinai, bringing forth children into bondage, which is Hagar,
25 Chule tun Jerusalem hi Arabia gam'a Sinai Mol tobang hiya ahi, ajeh chu ama le achate Danthua soh changin aumun ahi.
(for the name of Hagar denotes Mount Sinai, in Arabia, ) and she answers to the present Jerusalem, and is in bondage with her children.
26 Hinlah numei chom dang nu, Sarah chu Van Jerusalem vetsahna ahi. Ama numei ongthol ahin, eiho nu ahi.
But the Jerusalem above, is the free woman, who is our mother.
27 Isaiah themgaovin, “Vo chaneilou numei kipah thanomin, cha hing khalouhela, naosonat thoh khalouhelnu, kipah tah in awthong jejun samin! Ajeh chu numei chahinglou nun ajipato umkhomnu sangin chate ahaojo tai,” ati.
For it is written, "Rejoice, O barren woman, who didst not bring forth! Break out and cry, thou who travailest not in birth; for more are the children of the deserted, than of her who had the husband."
28 Chule kasopite, nangho Isaac banga chu thutep chate nahiu ahi.
We, therefore, brethren, like Isaac, are children by promise.
29 Hinlah tun nanghon danthu najui dingu deisah ho chun, Ishmael-mihem kibol hat'a hungpeng cha chun, Isaac–Lhagaova hungpeng cha chu agimbol tobanga nagimbolu ahi.
But even as then, he who was begotten according to the flesh, persecuted him who was begotten according to the Spirit: so also now.
30 Hinlah Pathen Thubun hiche thua hi ipi asei em? “Sohnu le acha chu nodoh tha tan, ajeh iham itileh soh numei cha chun ongtholnu cha chuto gou lokhom thei ponte” ati.
But what says the scripture? "Cast out the bondmaid and her son; for the son of the bondmaid shall not inherit with the son of the free woman."
31 Hijeh chun sopi deitahte, eiho hi sohnu cha ihipouve, ongtholnu chate joh ihiu ahiye.
Well, then, brethren, we are not the children of the bondmaid, but of the free woman.
