Now, these, are the sons of the province, who came up from among the captives of the exile, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon exiled to Babylon, —who came back unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his own city;

The sons of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy-two;
5 Arah chate chu jasagi le somsagile nga ahiuve.
The sons of Arah, seven hundred and seventy-five;
6 Pahath’moab chapa teni Jeshua le Joab chate chu sangni le jaget toh somleni ahiuvin ahi.
The sons of Pahath-moab, belonging to the sons of Jeshua, Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve;
7 Elam chate chu sangkhat le jani toh som nga le li ahiuve.
The sons of Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four;
8 Zattu chate chu jako le somli le nga ahiuve
The sons of Zattu, nine hundred and forty-five;
9 Zaccai chae chu jasagi le somgup alhing uvin ahi.

10 Bani chate chu jagup le somli le ni ahiuve.

12 Azgad chate chu sangkhat le ja it oh somni le ni alhing uvin ahi.
The sons of Azgad, a thousand two hundred and twenty-two;
13 Adoni’kam chate chu jagup le somgup le gup ahiuve.
The sons of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty-six;
14 Big’vai chate chu sangni le somnga le gup ahiuve.
The sons of Bigvai, two thousand and fifty-six;
15 Adin chate chu ail le som nga le li ahiuve.
The sons of Adin, four hundred and fifty-four;
16 Ater chate chu Hezeki’ah chate chengse ahiuvin, mihem somko le get bou ahiuvin ahi.
The sons of Ater pertaining to Hezekiah, ninety-eight;
17 Be’zai chate chu jathum le somni le thum ahiuve.
The sons of Bezai, three hundred and twenty-three;
18 Jorah chate chu jakhat le somle ni ahiuve.
The sons of Jorah, a hundred and twelve;
19 Hashum chate chu jani le somni le thum ahiuve.
The sons of Hashum, two hundred and twenty-three:
20 Gibbar chate chu somko le nga bou ahiuve.
The sons of Gibbar, ninety-five;
21 Bethlehem chate chu jakhat le somni le thum ahiuve.
The sons of Bethlehem, a hundred and twenty-three;
22 Neto’phah mite chu somnga le gup ahiuve.
The men of Netophah, fifty-six;
23 Anathoth mite chu jakhat le somni le get ahiuve.
The men of Anathoth, a hundred and twenty-eight;
24 Beth-azmaveth chate chu somli le ni ahiuve.
The sons of Azmaveth, forty-two;
25 Kiriath-jearim chate chu Kephi’rah le Beeroth chate ahiuvin, mihem jasagi le somli le thum alhing uve.
The sons of Kiriath-arim, Chephirah and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty-three;
26 Ramah le Geba chate chu jagup le somni le khat ahiuve.
The sons of Ramah and Geba, six hundred and twenty-one;
27 Micmash mite chu jakhat le somni le ni ma ahiuve.

28 Bethal mite leh Ai mite chu jani le somni le thum ahiuve.
The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred and twenty-three;
29 Nebo gam mite chu somnga le ni ahiuve.
The sons of Nebo, fifty-two;
30 Magbish gam mite chu jakhat le somnga le gup ahiuve.
The sons of Magbish, a hundred and fifty-six;
31 Elam gam mite jong chu sangkhat le jani toh, somnga le li ahiuve.
The sons of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four;
32 Harim gam mite chu jathum le somni ahiuve.
The sons of Harim, three hundred and twenty;
33 Lod, Hadid le Ono gam mite chu mihem jasagi le somni le nga ahiuve.
The sons of Lod, Hadid and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-five;
34 Jericho gam mite chu jathum le somli le nga ahiuve.
The sons of Jericho, three hundred and forty-five;
35 Sena’ah gam mite chu sangthum le jagup toh somthum alhing uvin ahi.

the sons of Neziah, the sons of Hatipha.
55 Solomon lhacha a pang ho chilhah ho chu: So’tai chate, Hasso’phereth chate, Peru’da chate,
The Sons of the Servants of Solomon. The sons of Sotai, the sons of Hasso-phereth, the sons of Peruda;
56 Ja’alah chate, Darkon chate, Giddel chate,
the sons of Jaalah, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel;
57 Shephati’ah chate, Hattil chate, Pokereth-hezzebaim chate chule Ami chate ahiuve
the sons of Shephatiah, the sons of Hattil, the sons of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the sons of Ami.

And, these, were they who came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, Immer; but they could not tell their ancestral house, nor their seed, whether, of Israel, they were:
60 Ama ho chu Delai’ah chate, Tobi’ah chate, Neko’da chate ahiuvin, abonin jagup le somnga le ni alhing uve.
the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, —six hundred and fifty-two.

And, of the sons of the priests, the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, —the sons of Barzillai, who took of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.
62 Mi hijat chun phunggui thusim kijihna ah chun aminu akihol’uvin, ahinlah amin’u akimudoh jou pouvin; hijeh chun amaho hi aboh-in akikoiyin thempu ho lah a konin aladoh tauve.

63 Gam vaipo a pang pan jong thilto theng chungnung chu aneh theilou na diuvin ajah uva aseipeh tai, thempu khat’ in Urim le Thummin aman a phun asan masang a aneh theilou diuvin ahil tan ahi.
and the governor told them, that they must not eat of the most holy things, —until there should stand up a priest, with Lights and Perfections.
64 Sohchang a hungkile mihem pumpi chu abonchauvin mihem sangsom li le sangni toh, ja thumle som gup alhing uvin ahi;
All the gathered host together, was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty;
65 Hiche hi asohteu pasal numei kisimtha lou lai ahi, asohteu chu sang sagi le ja thum toh, som thumle sagi ahiuvin; alah-uva hin lathem cheh pasal le numei ja ni aumin ahi.

66 Amahon sakol jasagi le somthum le gup, asakolpol jong ja ni le som li le nga;
their horses, were seven hundred and thirty-six, —their mules, two hundred and forty-five;
67 Sa-ngong sao jong ja li le som thumle nga, sangan te jong sang gup le ja sagi toh chule som ni, amaho toh kilhon tha ding in akipuijun ahi.
their camels, four hundred and thirty-five, —asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68 Jerusalem khopia Pakai houin ahung lhun phat’uvin phung sunga upa phabep’in jong Pathen houin chu akisah na mun mama’a sahdoh kittei na din deichom’a thanop’a thilto abol tauvin ahi.
And, a portion of the ancestral chiefs, when they came to the house of Yahweh which was in Jerusalem, offered voluntarily for the house of God, to set it up on its basis.
69 Amaho hin ato jou khamcheh-in natohna dingin, thilkholna insunga atohdoh-uvin ahileh sana daric sang somgup le sangkhat toh, dangka mina sang-nga alhingin, thempuho kivonna ding ponsil jakhat toh atohdoh un ahi.
According to their ability, gave they unto the treasury of the work, of gold, sixty-one thousand drams, and, of silver, five thousand manehs, —and, tunics for priests, one hundred.
70 Thempuho leh Leviho, chule mipi phabep jong Jerusalem khopi sung dunga aching uvin ahi. Lathemho leh kelkotngah apang ho, houin lhacha ho vang chu ama ama khosung cheh a achenguvin, chuleh Israel mipumpi jong akho akhouva akichen soh kei taovin ahi.
So the priests and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers and the doorkeepers and the Nethinim, took up their abode, in their cities, —and, all Israel, in their cities.
