1 Hiche jou chun amapa chun houin muntheng phung langa chun eipui lutne. Amapan kotkhah jotna lampi bang alang to in aten ahi. Chule hiche ho chu feet somle akeh asana hi.
[in the vision] the man brought me to into the Holy Place in the temple and measured the walls on each side of the doorway of that room: They were about (10-1/2 feet/3.3 meters) thick.
2 Kotkhah jotna lampi chu availing feet som leh sagi leh akeh ahin, bang ho chu alanto a feet get leh hopli a hopthum asauve. Muntheng phung changseh chu feet som sagi asauvin chule avai lang feet somthum leh feet nga ahi.
The entrance was (17-1/2 feet/5.3 meters) wide, and the walls of each side of it were (8-3/4 feet/2.6 meters) wide. He also measured the Holy Place, it was (70 feet/21.4 meters) long and (35 feet/10.7 meters) wide.
3 Hichun amapa chu muntheng khel lama dan sungnung a chun achen ahi. Lutna bang alangto in aten ahileh hiche ho chu feet somthum leh feet khat le akeh asan ahi. Lutna chu availam feet som leh akeh ahin, chule lutna bang alangto in feet som le feet nileh hopli a hopkhat asauvin ahi.
Then he entered the inner room [of the temple] and measured the walls of the entrance; [each was] (3-1/2 feet/1.1 meter) thick. The doorway was (10-1/2 feet/3.3 meters) wide, and the walls on each side of the entrance were (12-1/4 feet/3.7 meters) long.
4 Muntheng mun dan sungnung chu feet somthum leh feet nga asauvin, chule availam feet somthum leh feet nga ahi. “Hiche hi” tin amapan kakoma aseije. Muntheng chungnung ahi ati.
Then he measured the inner room: It was (35 feet/10.7 meters) long and (35 feet/10.7 meters) wide. He said to me, “This is the Very Holy Place.”
5 Hichun houin bang chu aten ahi, chule hichu feet som leh akeh asana hi. Apolang banga chun indan agol gol in aumin, indan khat chu availang feet sagi ahi.
Then he measured the wall of the temple: It was (10-1/2 feet/3.3 meters) thick.[There was a row of rooms along the outside wall of the temple]. Each of those rooms was (7 feet/2.1 meters) wide.
6 Hiche a inpanga indan ho chu dan thum'a kisa ahi. Khat chunga khat kisa thom ahin, dan khatna chu indan somthum cheh uma ahi. Hiche inpanga indan ho douna chu houin banga ajum laiya chu kingam ahi. Amaho chun abang ho chu aphah louvu ahi.
There were three levels of rooms, one above the other. There were thirty rooms on each level. There were ledges all around the wall of the temple that were supports for those side rooms; so those supports were not built into the wall of the temple.
7 Dan khat chu anoija dan sanga lenjo jep a houin bang chu asan jep jeh leh jum jep jep a khat leh khat hiti chu kidou toa ahi. Achung den pen chan gei chu chetouna dinga chu atonung penna patna kalbi kaltou peh ah ahi.
Each of those side rooms was wider than the one below it. The most narrow rooms were built first, at the bottom. Then a wider set of rooms was built over it, and the widest set was at the top. A set of stairs was built from the lowest level through the middle level to the highest level.
8 Houin a chu thusei namun kidosang namun ahi, hichun inpanga indan chengse bulpi jong chu kisemtha ahi. Hiche thuseina mun chu feet som leh akeh asangin ahi.
I saw that there was a terrace (OR, raised platform) around the temple. The terrace was the foundation for those side rooms; it was (10-1/2 feet/3.3 meters) high.
9 Houin panga indan kisem ho inbang chu feet geat leh hopli a hopthum sa ahi. Hiche inpanga indan teni kikah chun a onglai aum in ahi.
The outer wall of those side rooms was (8-3/4 feet/2.6 meters) thick. All around those side rooms there was an open area that was (35 feet/10.6 meters) wide.
10 Chule thutanna in sungnung lang bang polanga chu indan kigol aumin ahi. Hiche a onglai mun chu feet somthum leh feet nga availam len ahin, houin kimvel lhung kei ahi.
There was a row of rooms for the priests on each side of the outer wall of the inner courtyard.
11 Chuleh inpanga in kisem ho dinga kotpi ho chengse chu thusei mun kido sang mun chunga chu kihong ahiuvin, hichu availam feet geat leh hopli a hopthum len ahi. Kot khat chun sahlang bang angan chule khat chun lhanglang angai.
There were two doors from those side rooms into another open area; one faced north and one faced south. That open area was (8-3/4 feet/2.6 meters) wide.
12 Lhumlam lang a chun inlen tah khat kisa aumin hichun houin thutanna lang angan ahi. Hichu availam feet jakhat leh feet somni leh feet ni ahin, chule feet jakhat leh soomnga asauvin, chuleh abang ho chu feet geat leh hopli a hopthum sa ahi.
There was a large building on the west side of the temple area. It was (122-1/2 feet/37.1 meters) wide and (157-1/2 feet/47.7 meters) long. And its walls were [also] (8-3/4 feet/2.6 meters) thick.
13 Hichun mipa chun houin chu aten ahile hichu feet jakhat leh somsagi leh nga asauve. Hichu in kisa leh akimvella thutanna in chu in abang ho puma chu feet jakhat leh som sagi leh nga sau ahi.
Then the man measured the temple. It was (175 feet/53 meters) long, and the [temple] courtyard, where the large building was, including its walls was [also] (175 feet/53 meters) wide.
14 Thutanna insung nung houin solam lang chu avai feet jakhat leh somsagi leh nga ahi.
The courtyard on the east side of the temple, across the front of the temple, was also (175 feet/53 meters) wide.
15 Solam lang nga a in kisa chule abang teni puma chu avai feet jakhat leh somsagi leh nga ahi. Muntheng indan sungnung chule houin hongcha
Then he measured the building on the west [side]. Including its walls it was also (175 feet/53 meters) wide. The outer walls of the Holy Place, the Very Holy Place, and the entry room,
16 abonchauva thing amai neija kisem cheh ahin, chule aning langa bangkot ho jong chu chutobang ma a chu kisem cheh ahiuve. Houin bang sungnung lang ho jong chu achung lang bang kotho noilang chu aboncha thing thing amai neija kisem cheh ahi.
the inner walls above and below the windows, and the frames of the windows were all covered with [thin] panels of wood.
17 Kot chung a onglai indan sungnung channa chetou peh a chule abang asung apo chutobang ma a chu kisem ahi.
All the walls inside the temple were decorated [carvings of] winged creatures and palm trees: Between each figure of a winged creature was a carving of a palm tree. Each winged creature had two faces:
18 Abang jouse Cherubim lim kisema kijem a khat cheh chun maini anei cheh in, chule hiche Cherubim ho kikah a chun tumthing kijem pol aumin ahi.
One was a face of a human, and one was the face of a lion. Those figures were carved on the walls all around the inside of the temple.
19 Mihem mai khat in tumthing phung lang angan khat kit chun ahile keipi nou mai ahin hichun tumthing phung lang khatma chu angai. Hiche ho chu houin sung lhung keija kisem soh hela ahin,
20 Tolla bangleh chan ahin, muntheng polam bang ho jong ahoptha ahi.
They covered all the walls, from the floor to the top of the walls.
21 Muntheng sung lutna a khom ho chu aningli kibang a kisui ahi cheh in, chule muntheng chungnung lutna a ho jong chu akibang cheh e.
At the entrance to the Holy Place of the temple there were square doorposts. In front of the Very Holy Place there was something that resembled
22 Chuleh maicham thinga kisem feet nga leh hopli a hopkhat sang chule feet thum leh akeh sau ahin, aning akitunna chule abang aboncha thinga kisem ahicheh e. Hiche mipa chun eisei peh in Pakai angsunga um dokhang chu ahi.
a wooden altar. It was (5.2 feet/1.6 meters) high and (3-1/2 feet/1.1 meters) wide on all four sides. Its corners and base and sides were [all made] of wood. The man said to me, “This is the table that is in the presence of Yahweh.”
23 Muntheng phung leh muntheng chungnung teni chun kotpi ni gel aneicheh lhone.
The Holy Place and the Very Holy Place had double doors.
24 Kot ihon nalam lama kihong chule amachama kikhah thei cheh ahi.
Each doorway had two doors that [on hinges].
25 Muntheng lutna kot chu Cherubim lima kisem tumthing ho a abang ho kijem cheh ahi. Houin hongcha achung thinga kikhu khat aume.
On the doors of the Holy Place there were carvings of winged creatures and palm trees, like those on the walls of the Holy Place. There was also a wooden roof over the front of the entry room [of the temple].
26 Hongcha alangto gel a chun tum thing kijem pola kisem bang kot anei cheh e. Bang polanga inpanga indan ho jong chu achung khu anei cheh u ahi.
On the side walls of the entry room were narrow windows with [figures of] palm trees [carved] on the sides of the windows. The side rooms around the temple also had roofs.
