< Ezekiel 3 >
1 Ogin khat chun kajah a thu aseijin, “Mihem chapa, ipi hile kapeh hohi nen – hiche lekhajol hi nen. Chuti chun chen lang kathusei ho hi Israel mipi gasei peh tan,” eiti.
“Son of man,” He said to me, “eat what you find here. Eat this scroll, then go and speak to the house of Israel.”
2 Hijeh chun kakam kakat leh lekhajol eineh sah e.
So I opened my mouth, and He fed me the scroll.
3 “Hichu oiva set in nen,” atin ahi. Chule keiman kanen ahileh hichu kakamah khoiju lhumin alhume.
“Son of man,” He said to me, “eat and fill your stomach with this scroll I am giving you.” So I ate, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.
4 Hichun kajah a “Mihem chapa Israel mipi ho henga khun chen lang kathusei ho hi amaho gaseipeh tan” tin aseije.
Then He said to me, “Son of man, go now to the house of Israel and speak My words to them.
5 Keiman nangma gamdang mi apauvu nangin kahet lou miho koma kasol nahi poi.
For you are not being sent to a people of unfamiliar speech or difficult language, but to the house of Israel—
6 Ahipoi keiman hetkhah lou miho leh kihoupi hahsa miho koma kasol nahipoi.
not to the many peoples of unfamiliar speech and difficult language whose words you cannot understand. Surely if I had sent you to them, they would have listened to you.
7 Ahinlah mipite chun kei thusei angainom lou sang uvin ngainom deh pouvinte. Ijeh inem itile apumpiuva hi milungtah te le milouchalte ahiuve.
But the house of Israel will be unwilling to listen to you, since they are unwilling to listen to Me. For the whole house of Israel is hard-headed and hard-hearted.
8 Ahinlah ven keiman nangma hi amaho tobanga louchal tah leh lungtah tah a kasem nahi.
Behold, I will make your face as hard as their faces, and your forehead as hard as their foreheads.
9 Sontah pen tah sanga tah jon nachalpang kasem peh e. Hijeh chun amaho khu kicha hih in, ahiloule doumah in chon uhen lunghang tah in nahin ve jong leu
I will make your forehead like a diamond, harder than flint. Do not be afraid of them or dismayed at their presence, even though they are a rebellious house.”
10 Hichun aman abelap in mihem chapa kathuho jouse hi nangma lungchang mong monga longlut masa hen. Nanga ding tumin hicheho chu ngaiphan.
“Son of man,” He added, “listen carefully to all the words I speak to you, and take them to heart.
11 Chuti chun namite sohchangho koma khun chen lang chuleh amaho gasei peh tan, “Hichehi thanei vaihom Pakai thusei ahi, ngaiju hen lang ngaihih jong leu gabol in,” atin ahi.
Go to your people, the exiles; speak to them and tell them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says,’ whether they listen or refuse to listen.”
12 Hichun lhagaovin keima eidomsang in ahile keiman kanung langa thilging lutlut husa gin khat kajan ahi. (Pakai loupina chu amun a chun vahchoijin umhen).
Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard a great rumbling sound behind me: ‘Blessed be the glory of the LORD in His dwelling place!’
13 Hiche ho chu ganhing ho lhaving khat leh khat akijap khah tou gin le amaho noija kangtalai ho ging lullul husa gin chu ahi.
It was the sound of the wings of the living creatures brushing against one another and the sound of the wheels beside them, a great rumbling sound.
14 Lhagao chun keima eidomsang in eipo mangtai. Keima lunghang tah le lung chih lah lah a kaumin ahi, ahinlah Pakai chu akhut thahattah chun eituh e.
So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the LORD upon me.
15 Hichun Kebar vadung pang Tel-abib mun a Juda sohchang ho chenna munna chun kahung lhunge, kalung akham val in amaho lah a chun nisagi kaga touve.
I came to the exiles at Tel-abib who dwelt by the River Kebar. And for seven days I sat where they sat and remained there among them, overwhelmed.
16 Nisagi kichaijin Pakaiyin kakoma thu aseitai, aman aseijin,
At the end of seven days the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
17 “Miihem chapa, keiman nangma hi Israel ngah ding kapansah nahitai. Keija konna thu najah tihtih leh mipi ho chu gangtah in gihsal jengin.
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me.
18 Keiman migiloupa chu thina chan gimna chang ding nahitai tia kaseija, ahialah nangin nagihsal louva ahileh amaho chu achonset naova thiden diu ahitai. Chule athinao themmona a chu nang chung kahin del ding ahi.
If I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him or speak out to warn him from his wicked way to save his life, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, and I will hold you responsible for his blood.
19 Nangin nagih salla ahija la amapa chun alung ahei nom louva a chonset jinga ahileh achonset na a chu thiden ding ahitai. Ahinlah nangin keima thu nangai jeh a nahinkho naki huhhong ding ahi.
But if you warn a wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness and his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity, but you will have saved yourself.
20 Michonpha ho chu achonphat nauva konna akihei mang uva akituh oh nao alampiuva kakoi peh akihetmo sah uva ahitah leh thiden diu ahitan, chule nangin nagihsal louva nakoija ahileh achonset nauva thidiu ahitai. Achonphat naoo khat cha jong kigeldoh peh talou diu ahitan, chule themmona chu nachunga kahin lhut ding ahi.
Now if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. If you did not warn him, he will die in his sin, and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. And I will hold you responsible for his blood.
21 Ahinlah michonpha ho chu achonphat nauva konna achonset lou nadiuva nagih salla chule amahon nathusei angai uva achonset dauva ahileh amaho chu hingdoh diu ahi. Chutengleh nangin jong nahinkho nakihuh hing ding ahi.”
But if you warn the righteous man not to sin, and he does not sin, he will indeed live because he heeded your warning, and you will have saved yourself.”
22 Chuin Pakai chun ituh chah in chule ahin seije, “Kipat doh in lang phaicham langa khun chen chule hiche munna chu keiman najah a thu kaseipeh ding nahi,” ati.
And there the hand of the LORD was upon me, and He said to me, “Get up, go out to the plain, and there I will speak with you.”
23 Hijeh chun keijong kakipat doh in kachetai. Chule hiche munna chun Kebar vadung pang kana mu masat tobang chun Pakai loupina chu kamun hichun kamai tolla kasulut tai.
So I got up and went out to the plain, and behold, the glory of the LORD was present there, like the glory I had seen by the River Kebar, and I fell facedown.
24 Chuin Lhagao chu kasunga ahung lut in kakeng phang tenin eidin sah tai, Aman eihoulim pin kajah a “Chenlang nainsunga nangma chang kot ga kikha khum tan” ati.
Then the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet. He spoke with me and said, “Go, shut yourself inside your house.
25 Mihem chapa, hiche munna chu nangma khaova naki kanchah a hijeh a chu miho henga nachedoh theilou ding ahi.
And you, son of man, they will tie with ropes, and you will be bound so that you cannot go out among the people.
26 Chule keiman nalei chu nadang chunga kabe den sah a hijeh a chu paomo a naum ding amaho chu nasap set thei louding ahi. Ajeh chu amaho khu doumah bolte ahiuve.
I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth, and you will be silent and unable to rebuke them, though they are a rebellious house.
27 Amavang keiman thu kaseipeh tengleh nalei kalhap kang peh a thu kasei sah ding nahi. Chutengleh nangin amaho koma chu, hiche thanei vaihom Pakai thusei ahi, nati ding ahi. Koi hileh ngai ding goho chun ngaijuhen amavang angainom louho chun ngaida hen ajeh chu ama chu doumah bolte ahiuve.
But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you are to tell them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says.’ Whoever listens, let him listen; and whoever refuses, let him refuse, for they are a rebellious house.
