Ezekiel 23

The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,

2 “Mihem chapa, phatkhat chun minu khatseh chanu ucha numei ni ana um lhone.

Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

3 Amani chu Egypt gam'a notin apang lhone. Numei chapang cha ahilai lhonna patna chu pasalho anoi amehsah pan lhon ahitai.

And they committed lewd deeds in Egypt; they committed lewd deeds in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they were first corrupted.

4 Numei alenjo nu chu amin Oholah akitin chule asopinu chu Oholiba ahi. Keiman amani kaki chenpin amanin chapate le Chanute eihin peh lhone. Keiman Samaria le Jerusalem thu a kasei ahi, ajeh chu Oholah ahin chule Oholibah hi Jerusalem ahi.

And the names of them [were] Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bore sons and daughters. Thus [were] their names; Samaria [is] Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

5 Hitichun Oholah chun kei sangin adeichat dang ho chunga alunglut jon chule angailutna chu Asyria milen ho chu anapen ahi.

And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians [her] neighbors.

[Who were] clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.

7 Chule hiche Assyria mei dei dei um mi ho koma chun amale ama notin aga kijoh un, amilim doiju ahouvin, hiti chun amale ama akisuboh in ahi.

Thus she committed her lewd deeds with them, with all them [that were] the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.

Neither left she her lewd deeds [brought] from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they first corrupted her, and poured their impurities upon her.

9 Ahijeh chun amanu chu adeichat Assyria miho alunglut behsehna miho khutna kana pedoh tai.

Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

These uncovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.

11 Oholibah in amanu sopinu Oholah chunga thilsoh jouse amu jengin jong amanu khonung chu kitohchet in ajuijin ahi. Chuleh amanu chu aphatmo sah dehset in, amanu chu atahsa ngaichat le a noti chonna chun achemang tan ahi.

And when her sister Aholibah saw [this], she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her prostitutions more than her sister in [her] prostitutions.

12 Amanu chu Assyria miten milal ho sepai captain chule natoh ding pea vaihoma pangho galvon lhingsetna hoitah tah a kivon ho galkonna sakol kangtalai tolho, akang talaija hung ho, lunglut um tahtah golhang ho jeng chunga chun akitau len ahi.

She doted upon the Assyrians [her] neighbors, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.

13 Keiman a unu bang banga amaleh ama akisuhboh jengna chu kamun ahi.

Then I saw that she was defiled, [that] they [took] both one way.

And [that] she increased her prostitutions: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion.

Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

And as soon as she saw them with her eyes she doted upon them, and sent messengers to them into Chaldea.

17 Hijeh chun amaho ahungun chuleh amanu chutoh ajong uvin akidei nau jalkhun chungah chun amanu chu asuboh un ahi. Akisuhboh jou nungin amanun apaidoh in ahung kilep doh tai.

And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their lewdness, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.

18 Hitobang ma chun keiman Oholibah chu kakidah in, chule amanu asopinu kanotdoh bang chun kanot doh tai. Ajeh chu amanu chu amaho masanga kiletsah tah a gakilah ah ahi. Chuleh ama cham tah in atahsa ngaichat suhbulhit nadingin aga kipedoh in ahi.

So she disclosed her lewd deeds, and exposed her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, as my mind was alienated from her sister.

19 Ahijeng vang'in a noti chonna chu ahabol be cheh cheh jengin, anungah tillaija Egypt gam'a a noti chonna ho jong ageldoh in ahi.

Yet she multiplied her prostitutions, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, in which she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

20 Adeichat ho chunga atahsa ngaichat alunglut val jeh in ajunthahna jong sangan ho bangin alendoh in abotwi ho jong sakolla toh abange.

For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh [is as] the flesh of asses, and whose issue [is like] the issue of horses.

21 Chuti ahijeh chun Oholibah Egypt gam nanungah tillaija naumchan ho nanoi teni miho nana mehsah ji lai ho chu nanung ngaichat jing nalaije.

Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, by being corrupted by the Egyptians in thy youth.

22 Hiche jeh a chu Oholibah hiche hi thaneitah Pakai thusei ahi. Keiman nakidah a nahin dalhah namtin vaipi ho mong mong chu nangma dou ding muntinna konna kahin sol doh peh ding nahi.

Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

23 Hitia chu Babylon mite chu Chaldea mite toh Pekod leh Shoa chule Koa kon hung diu ahi. Chule Assyria mite chu khangthah melhoi tah tah captain ho commander ho sakol kangtalaija vaihom ho chule tohmun sangtah tah lamkai ho chutoh sakong chunga touvin hungunte.

The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, [and] all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.

24 Amaho chu nang dou dingin sahlanga konin sakol kangtalai leh kangtalaija galbol khum ding kigosa sepai hon tamtah toh hung diu ahi. Amaho chu mihem lum leh thih lukhuh kikhuh pasal ho toh nakim vel jouse pan mun ahin kisem diu ahi. Chule keiman nangma ama khut a chu na engbol diuva kapeh doh a chutia chu amahon alungdei dei uva nabol thei diu ahi.

And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, [which] shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet on every side: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.

25 Keiman thangtom tah a kalung hanna chu kahin buhlah khuma hitia chu amahon khautah a nabol dingu ahi. Amahon nanah leh nabilkol atlhau vintin chuleh hichea konna hing doh ho chu chemajama kisat tel tel diu ahi. Chule nachateu chu songkulla hen dinga kikai mang uva nathil keuvu nadalhahsa jouseu chu kihal lhading ahi.

And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thy ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.

26 Amahon napon hoitah tah hole nasong mantam ho chu nasutlhah peh dingu ahi.

They shall also strip thee of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.

27 Hitia a hi keiman Egypt gam'a konna nahin kipohdoh najon lungput leh na noti chonna chu kasuh tang peh ding nahi. Hiche teng chuleh nangin hiche thilho vetna chu namit heidoh lou ding ahiloule Egypt gam'a naum phat laiho nanung geldoh kitlou ding ahitai.

Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy adultery [brought] from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thy eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.

28 Hiche jeh a chu thaneitah Pakaiyin hiche thuhi asei ahi. Keiman namelma ho khutna kapeh doh teitei ding ahi. Nabol nom louho nanot thap ho.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand [of them] whom thou hatest, into the hand [of them] from whom thy mind is alienated:

29 Amahon thet um tahtah a nabol uva nanei jouse nana lahpeh uva, nasaguoh keu le natahsa keuva ana dalhah diu ahi. Nanoti chonna jachat umtah chu vannoija kiphongdoh ding ahi.

And they shall treat thee with hatred, and shall take away all thy labor, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy prostitutions shall be disclosed, both thy lewdness and thy prostitutions.

30 Nangman hiche ho jouse hi namdang ho koma noti chonna nachon a, milim doi hou jouseuva nakisuhboh jeh a nangma chunga nakipoh lut khum ahi.

I will do these [things] to thee, because thou hast gone astray after the heathen, [and] because thou art polluted with their idols.

31 Ajeh chu nangin nasopinu khonung najui jeh ahi. Amanun tijat kichatna dimset adonna khonna chu nang jong nada nacham louva kadon sah ding nahi.

Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thy hand.

32 “Henge hiche hi thaneitah Pakai thusei ho chu ahi. Nangin tijat kichatna dimset khonna adon banga chu nadon ding ahi. Khon lentah leh thutah chu pampai naleh nuijat um dimset ahi.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be treated with scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

33 Jukham nale lungnatna a dimin natin ajeh chu nakhon hi angong geija lungnatna jeng leh suhgentheina kisung dimset ahi. Hiche khon mama a chu nasopinu Samaria in adon ahi.

Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.

34 Nangin kichat tijatna dimset khon chu kang hella atogei nadon jou chutia chu nangin ahal hala nasuh chip a chuleh lung natah a naop nachup ding ahi. Keima thaneitah Pakaiyin kaseijesa ahi.

Thou shalt even drink it, and empty it to the dregs, and thou shalt break its pieces, and pluck off thy own breasts: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD.

35 Chuleh nangin keima nei sumil in chuleh nei nungat e. Najon lungput leh na noti chonna konna hungsoh doh ho jouse chu nathoh ding ahi tia hiche thaneitah Pakai thusei ahi.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy prostitutions.

36 Pakaiyin kahenga aseije. Mihem chapa nangin Oholah le Oholibah kidah dah um achonsetna ho jouse chunga themmona nachan sah ding ahi.

The LORD said moreover to me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yes, declare to them their abominations;

37 Amanin jonthanhoi le toltha akop lhonin milim doi semthu hou jeh a jonga ahin, chule keija dinga ahinsa achate govam thilto ato jeh a tolthat hi ahi.

That they have committed adultery, and blood [is] in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bore to me, to pass for them through [the fire], to devour [them].

38 Hicheng chungchon in ka houin asuboh uvin chule ka cholngah nikho asukeh uve.

Moreover this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

39 Achateu milim doi semthu hounan akatdoh nikho tah chun kitahsan tah leh hangsan tah in Pathen hou din ka houin sungah ahung lut un ahi. Amaho chu ahung lut in kahouin asuboh uve.

For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and lo, thus have they done in the midst of my house.

40 Na ucha lhonin gamla tah a pasal ahung nadiuvin thupole ho asol hone. Chutia amaho ahung lhun phat uvin nang le nang naga kisil thengin, namit a mitlou nakinun, chule na song mantam hoipen in amaho dingin nakijem in ahi.

And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, to whom a messenger [was] sent; and lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paint thy eyes, and deck thyself with ornaments,

41 Pahcha jem hoitah a kijem touna sau hoipen chunga chun amaho toh natou khomin, chule ka gim namtwi leh kathao namtwisel ho chu dokhang chunga namasanga kathenam in ahi.

And sattest upon a stately bed and a table prepared before it, upon which thou hast set my incense and my oil.

42 Napindan sunga konin anneh khom bolla poh cheichui ho husan akijan ahi. Hiche munna chun gammang lah a kon jon lungputna dimset pasal ho leh jukham ho chun nakhut chau nabu peh un naluchunga lallukhuh nakhuh peh uve.

And a voice of a multitude being at ease [was] with her: and with the men of the common sort [were] brought Sabeans from the wilderness, who put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

43 Hichun keiman kaseijin, hitia hi amahon noti twitah leh thacholsa chu aluppi nom uleh luppi tauvinte kati.

Then said I to [her that was] old in adulteries, Will they now commit lewd deeds with her, and she [with them]?

44 Chuleh hichu amahon abol'u chu ahin, hiche jum lam helou Oholah le Oholibah toh alumkhom tauve.

Yet they went in to her, as they go in to a woman that playeth the harlot: so they went in to Aholah and to Aholibah, the lewd women.

45 Amani ajonthan hoi naleh atolthana khopi u chu numei teni chung thuhi michonpha hon ahin tan dingu ahi.

And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they [are] adulteresses, and blood [is] in their hands.

46 Tun thaneitah Pakai thusei hiche hi ahi. Amaho doudin sepai ho hin puijin lang chuleh kichatsah dingleh athil lahpeh dingin amaho khut ah pedoh in.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and plundered.

47 Ajeh chu amelma teuvin songa aaseuva chule chemjama asatlih diu ahi. Achapa teule achanu teu satha a athapeh uva chule a in hou ahallhah peh dingu ahi.

And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn their houses with fire.

48 Hitia hi ajon thanhoi nauleh amilim doihou nau gamsunga kangah sah a chule hiche kathutan hi midang hon gitlouna lampia ache lou nadiuva kihilna khat hidinga kabol ahi.

Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

49 Na noti chonna leh namilim doi hou nauhi bulhingsetna lethuhna kahin peh ding nahi. Henge gotna bulhingsetna nangin nathoh ding ahi. Hitia chu nangin keima hi thaneitah Pakai kahi ti nahin hetdoh ding ahi.

And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I [am] the Lord GOD.
