Ezekiel 22
1 Tun Pakaija konna thu kisei kahenga ahung lhunge:
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 “Mihem chapa, Jerusalem thutan dinga nakigot jou hitam? Hiche tolthatte khopi thutan dinga nakigot hitam? Kidah dah um achonsetna ho khu japi masanga phondoh pehsoh hellin.
Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yes, thou shalt show her all her abominations.
3 Chule thaneitah pakaija kon hiche thu amanu khu gapen: O tolthat khopi, manthahna ke mochanna milim doi dimsetna khopi, anen leh anamse
Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.
4 Nathisanso jeh a themmo chang nahi. Nangma namilim doi sem ho jeh a kisuboh nahi. Namanthahna nikho chu hung lhung ahitai. Nakum kichaina chu nalhun ahitai.
Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself by thy idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come [even] to thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach to the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.
5 O minse khopi! Nohphah na a dimset, nanghi agamla leh anaija miho jouse tot nopna nahung hi tei ding ahitai.
[Those that are] near, and [those that are] far from thee, shall mock thee, [who art] infamous [and] much troubled.
6 Israel sunga lamkai ho jouse nakulpi sunga chengho jouse chu tolthat kun cheh ahiuve.
Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.
7 Mipate lhe minu teho kimusit a kilhemto cheh ahiuve. Gamchom miho jong chu namna a avengtup diu akikoiju ngai ahitai. Chagate leh meithai ho jong dan dihlou vin akibol in, chuleh genthei akithoh sah uve.
In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they oppressed the fatherless and the widow.
8 Nangin kathil thengho ijan neise peh pon, chuleh ka cholngah nikhon cholngah ni jong nasukeh uve.
Thou hast despised my holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.
9 Miho chun midang khat chu dihlou tah in themmo achanin chule amaho chu athina diu munna chun asol jiuve. Nangla namilim doihou chule thilphalou bol nadimset uve.
In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.
10 Pasal ho chu apa jinu toh alum khomun, chule numei athilon pet jong akitimat piuve.
In thee have they uncovered their fathers' nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.
11 Nakulpi sunga chun pasal ho chu a inhengpa jinu toh ajongun ahi. Khat chun amounu asuboh in, khat kit ma chun asopinu khel khel jong ada achamlouvin aluppin ahi.
And one hath committed abomination with his neighbor's wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father's daughter.
12 Hicheho hi tolthat ding kigo sumpa homma dan dihlou sumhol, muntinna mi nei lahpeh in aume. Aman keima mong mong eigelpha tapouvin, chuleh kathupeh ho jong ahepha tapouve.
In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken interest and increase, and thou hast greedily gained from thy neighbors by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
13 Ahinlah tua hi keiman nalung thim thenlouna leh nathisan so hatna jeh a vetda naum na chunga kakhut teni kabeh ding ahi.
Behold, therefore I have smitten my hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.
14 Nachung thu kitan niteng ichan thahatna hia chule hangsan tah le kichatna beihel nah idem? Keima, Pakaiyin kasei ahi. Chuleh keiman kaseisa chu kabol ding ahi.
Can thy heart endure, or can thy hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken [it], and will do [it].
15 Keiman namtin vaipi ho lah a kathu thethanga chule nagitlouna jousea kasuhtheng ding nahi.
And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
16 Nangho jeh a namtin vaipi jouse lah a jabolna beija kahung um teng leh keima hi Pakai kahi ti neihin hetdoh ding ahi.
And thou shalt take thy inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD.
17 Hichun Pakaija konin hiche thuhi kahenga ahung lhunge:
And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
18 Mihem chapa, Israelte hi dangka kisol nunga thih eh panna neilou bep ahiuve. Amaho hi thih eh kidalha hah, tin thih chule ngenthih kihal panna bei ahiuve.
Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they [are] brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are [even] the dross of silver.
19 Hijeh chun, amaho chu seipeh in, hiche hi Pakai thusei ahi. Nangho Jerusalema patepna hoise tah kapuilut ding nahi.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
20 Thuhkhuh lentah a hah, thih, ngen chule tinho kisong jol banga kason jol ding nahi. Kalungsatna meikouva kason jol ding nahi.
[As] they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt [it]; so will I gather [you] in my anger and in my fury, and I will leave [you there], and melt you.
21 Keiman nangho kapui khomuva chule kalung hanna meikou chu kasemlut khum diu nahi.
Yes, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst of it.
22 Chutia chu nangho danka banga naki song jol diu ahi. Hiteng chuleh nanghon kalung hanna chung uva keima Pakaiyin kasunlhah khumu ahi chu nahin hetdoh dingu ahi.
As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst of it; and ye shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.
23 Pakaija konin kahenga thukhat ahung lhung kitne:
And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
24 “Mihem chapa, hiche thuhi Israel mite pen. Vetda a naum lai nikho sunga hi akisubohsa gam, gojuh louna gam tobang hiding ahi.
Son of man, say to her, Thou [art] the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.
25 Naleng chapateu chu guhtima thildih gongho lah a ajauvun keipin aneh ding sa agep bangin avah leuve. Mona neilou miho aval lhumuve. Gou kikholho leh gouthil mantam ho alahpeh uva amhon gamsunga mitamtah meithai asosah tauve.
[There is] a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst of her, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst of her.
26 Nathempu houvin kahilna ho asuseuvin, chule kathil thengho asuboh tauve. Amahon ipi chu thil theng hija ipi chu athenglou ham ti akikhetsah pouve. Hou thua chondan theng leh athenglou kikah a akibah louna jong kamite ahil pouve. Kachol nikho jong adonse pouvin hijeh chun amaho lah a jabol louvin kaum lotai.
Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned my holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shown [difference] between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
27 Nalamkai teho'u chu athasa bottle tel jeng ngeiho tobang ahiuve. Amahon mihem tamtah hinkho sum jeh in asumang tauve.
Her princes in the midst of her [are] like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
28 Chule na themgao hou jong gaothil mu dihlou vin akisel un, miho dingin ajou jouvun phun asan peh uve. Amahon kathusei hi thaneitah Pakaija kon ahi atiuve, Pakaiyin bon amaho a koma thu sei khalou hella.
And her prophets have daubed them with untempered [mortar], seeing vanity, and divining lies to them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.
29 Milham ho jengin jong vaichate abol gentheijun, genthei te achomun, gamdang miho chu anei agou alahpeh jiuve.
The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have oppressed the poor and needy: yes, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
30 Keiman agamsung huhna ding chonphatna kulbang gen pha ding mikhat tou aumdem tin kavelen ahi. Keiman agamsung kasuh mang louna dinga a onglai bang kah a ding ding mikhat tou aum dem tin kaholle, ahivangin khatcha kamudoh poi.
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
31 Hijeh a chu tua hi keiman kalungsatna achung'uva kasunlhah khum diu, kalung hanna meikonga kahalvam diu ahi. Achonsetnau jeh a achung'uva achiana gimbolna aluchung uva kaset khum peh diu ahi tin thaneitah Pakai keiman kasei ahi.”
Therefore have I poured out my indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
