Ezekiel 13
1 Hiti chun kahenga Pakai thusei ahung lhunge.
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 “Mihem chapa kilam thu a gao thusei Israel themgao lhem ho dou nan gao thu seijin. Pakai kamsung thusoh hi ngaijun, tin amaho khu seipeh in.
Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto those that prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of the Lord:
3 Pakai thanei pen in hitin thu aseije. Imacha mong mong mulou hella amalung ngaito to ho jui'a, themgao lhemho itobang getheina nangao hitam?”
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Woe unto the scandalous prophets, that follow their own spirit, without having seen any thing!
4 O Israel mite, nalah uva themgao umho khu ingem lah khot khot jeng sial tobang ahiuve.
Like foxes among the ruins have been thy prophets, O Israel!
5 Amahon namsung bang chip saho semphatna dingin imacha abol pouve. Pakai nikho galsat petna din jou theina dingin, amahon imacha akithopi thei pouve.
Ye did not go up into the breaches, nor did ye make a fence around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the Lord.
6 Hiti ho sang chun amaho ajouvu aseijun, chuleh adih louvin khonunga thilsoh dingho asemthu jiuve. Pakaiyin asol louhel vang'in hiche thuhi Pakaija kon ahi atiuve. Chute chun amahon Pakai gaothu kisei hohi ahin suh bulhit din akinep piuve.
They saw falsehood and lying divination, they who say, “The Lord saith,” when the Lord had not sent them; and yet they made others hope for the fulfillment of the word.
7 Keiman nangma koma imacha kisei kha louhel a jong nang ho thusei hi Pakaija kon ahi tia nasei chu thudih lou ahin, na gaothil mu chu imacha hilou ham?
Had ye not seen a false vision, and had ye not said a lying divination? and ye say, “The Lord saith,” when I have not spoken.
8 Hiche jeh a chu thaneitah Pakaiyin hitia hi thu asei ahi. Ajeh chu nasei chu adihlou ahin, nagao thilmu jong adihlou ahi, keima nangma douva pang kahi tin thaneitah Pakaiyin aseije.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Whereas ye have spoken falsehood, and have seen lies: therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Eternal.
9 Themgao ajouva thilmu ho leh khonunga thil hunglhung ding jou thu semthu seiji douna a kakhut tum kahin dop ding, chuleh Israel kikhop khom nalah a konna kidel mang ding ahiuve. Israelte min kisut lutna lekhabu a konna amin u kathaimanga, chutia chu amaho gamsung chotlut nadinga akal ahin sonlut dingu ahitai. Hiteng chuleh nanghon keima hi thaneitah Pakai kahi nahin hetdoh dingu ahi.
And my hand shall be against the prophets that see false-hood, and that divine lies; in the secret council of my people shall they not be, and in the register of the house of Israel shall they not be written, and into the land of Israel shall they not come: and ye shall know that I am the Lord Eternal.
10 Hiche ho hi themgao gilou hon cham bon um louhel a chamna bulhingset ahi tia kamite alhep lhah jeh uva hungsoh ding ahi. Mipite hin kulbang lhou tah aget uva chuleh themgao hon amaho thahat sah be nading uva rong kanga nu khum dan u tobang ahi.
Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, “Peace,” when there was no peace: and [my people] build a protecting wall, and lo, they plaster it with unadhesive mortar.
11 Hiche rong kang nu ho koma chun nabang u chu lhuloi ding ahitai tin seipeh un. Huipi gopi in hattah in abul asemdoh a, gellen nasatah le hui thahattah hon ahin sem lhuh diu ahi.
Say unto those who plaster it with unadhesive mortar, that it shall fall: there cometh an overflowing rain-shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a storm-wind shall rend it.
12 Chutia bang chu ahung chimlhah tengle mipi ho chun ‘na rong kang nu u chu ipi iti hitam?’ atiuva hung kap doh diu ahi.
And, lo, the wall is fallen down; will it not now be said unto you, Where is the plastering wherewith ye have plastered?
13 Keiman kalung hanna twisoh tobanga vetda umtah huipi gopi leh kalungsatna gelpi changa nabang u rong kang kinu chu katol ngim hel jeng ding ahi tin thaneitah Pakaiyin asei ahi.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will even rend it with storm-winds in my fury; and an overflowing rain-shower shall come in my anger, with great hailstones in my fury to destroy it.
14 Nabang u chu abul'a kipatna keiman kahin suh chim ding chutia alhuh tengle keiman nangma kasuh chip ding nahi. Hiteng chuleh nangman Pakai kahi chu nahet doh ding ahi.
And I will pull down the wall that ye have plastered with unadhesive mortar, and I will cast it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be laid open; and it shall fall, and ye shall be destroyed in the midst of it: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
15 Achaina leh bangleh chunga rong kinu ho douna a kalungsatna kalung nachim bep ding ahi. Hiteng chule keiman najah a kaseija, bang chuleh achunga rong nuho agomun aum tapouve kati ding ahi.
Thus will I let out all my wrath upon the wall, and upon those that have plastered it with unadhesive mortar; and I will say unto you, Gone is the wall, and gone are they that plastered it;
16 Chamna bon um louhel a Jerusalem a chamna hung lhung ding ahi tia seiho chu themgao jou ho chu ahiuve, tia keim thaneitah Pakaiyin kasei ahi.
[Namely, ] the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see for her a vision of peace, when there is no peace, saith the Lord Eternal.
17 Tun mihem chapa, ama ama lung ngaito a thusei numeiho dounan gaothu seijun.
But, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart: and prophesy against them,
18 Hichehi thanei ta Pakaiyin asei ahi. Kamite khangdong ho hihen lang tehseho hijongle a lhagao u thanga manna pang numei itobang gentheina nanga jingu hitam? Akhut chong uva doikhao ho nabu peh uva, chuleh akijep nau athil keuho doithu kisap khum delvang nana khukhum peh uve. Nangho chunga manthahna ahung lhun louna dinga nanghon midang ho mat dinga nagel u ham?
And say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Woe to the women that sew bolsters together for the armpits of all, and make cushions for the head of every stature, to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, that ye may keep your own soul alive?
19 Nanghon sakol chang khut dim khat leh changlhah hal khat jeh in kamite lah a jachat umjeh tah in nahin polut e. Thujou kisei ngailua kamite lah a nacheng un, athilou ding ho nathat un chule ahing lou ding ho chu hinghoi dingin natep peh uve.
And ye profane me among my people for handfuls of barley and for bits of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to keep alive the souls that should not live, by your lying to my people that listen to lies!
20 Hiche hi thaneitah Pakai thusei ahi. Kamite vacha mat banga namat a namilunglut sahna ai chu keiman kadou ahi. Vacha aboma konna kilhadoh banga keiman kakhut kakeu doh a kamite chu naban janga konna kachu lhah a kacham lhat sah diu ahi.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I am against your bolsters, whereon ye hunt the souls that they may flutter [in your net], and I will tear them away from your arms; and I will let the souls go free, even the souls that ye hunt that they may flutter [in your net.]
21 Keiman nnadoi pon chu kabo keh a nakhut a natuh chah kheh na a konna kahuhdoh dingu ahi. Amaho chu namibol genthei chu hilou diu ahitai. Chuteng nangin keihi Pakai kahi ti nahet doh ding ahi.
And I will tear away your cushions, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
22 Jouvin michonpha ho chu nalung lhahsah in, ahinlah keiman amaho lungkhama a umdiu kanom poi. Chuleh nanghon migilou chu achonsetna a natilkhouvin, ahinkho huhhing peh din natilkhouve.
Because ye grieve the heart of the righteous with falsehood, when I have not given him pain; and strengthen the hands of the wicked, so that he should not return from his wicked way, through which he might live.
23 Hiche ho jouse jeh a hi namu ngailou hel gao thilmu nasei ji ho chu naseibe kit louhel ding, chule khonung thu ding jong nasei kit lou ding ahitai. Ijeh inem itile kamite chu nakhutna kon kaki huhdoh diu ahi, hiteng chule nangin keihi Pakai kahi ti chu nahin hetdoh dingu ahi.
Therefore shall ye see no more falsehood, and tell no more divinations; and I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
