1 Pakaiyin Mose thupeh anei jin, “Pharaoh heng'a che kit in lang ajah'a hiti hin sei jin. Hiche hi ahi Hebrew mite Pakai, Pathen'in asei chu: Kamite che'u hen lang, Keima kin gabol uhen.
Then the LORD said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2 Na soldoh louva Israel mite hi na umsah jeng ding'a ahile,
For if thou shalt refuse to let [them] go, and wilt hold them still,
3 Na loujaova na gancha jouse na sa kolte, sangante, sangongsao te, gancha hon, kelngoite leh na kelchate chung'a gamna hise kahin lansah ding thigam kei ding ahiuve, ati.
Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which are in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: [there shall be] a very grievous murrain.
4 Ahin lah Pakaiyin Isrrael te gancha ho leh Egypt mite gancha ho chung'a chom khenna ahin sem ding, Israel mite ganchaho vang chu khatcha jong thilou ding ahi!
And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel, and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all [that] belongs to the children of Israel.
5 “Pakaiyin hiche gamna hise ahin lan sah ding ahitai. Aman aseije jing nikho teng gamsung pumpia ahinlan sah ding ahi.”
And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To-morrow the LORD will do this thing in the land.
6 Pakaiyin aseidoh bang in aboltai. A jing jingkah in Egypt mite gancha athigam hel tan, ahinlah Israel mite gancha vang chu khatcha jong athi hih beh jeng'e.
And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.
7 Thilsoh umchan dol khol chil ding'in Pharaoh'vin asohte hochu asoltan ahile, Israel mite gancha hochu khat cha jeng jong athi pon ahi! Ama vang Pharaoh lung thim chu angaiya bang'in atah jing nalaiyin aman mipiho chu asol doh dehpon ahi.
And Pharaoh sent, and behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
8 Chuin Pakaiyin Mose leh Aaron heng'a asei jin, “lhum sung'a kon in vutdi tampi kiham lhon'in, hichu Pharaoh mitmu chang tah'a Mose'n vanlam'a athe touding ahi,” ati.
And the LORD said to Moses and to Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it towards heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.
9 “Egypt gamsung pumpi chu vulvai nelsel chun alodim jeng ding, chuteng mihem chung hile gancha chung hile uilut natna huoisen alhundan jeng diu ahi,” ati.
And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth [with] blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.
10 “Chuin amanin jong lhumsung'a konin vutdi aki ham lhonin, Mose angsung'a ading lhon tai,” Pharaoh'vin avet jing laiyin, Mose'n vutdi chengse chu vanlam angan athetou le, vutdi niel chun gampumpi aluodim jing tan mihem le gancha hochung'a uilut natna huoisi alang’ tai.
And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it towards heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth [with] blains upon man, and upon beast.
11 Egypt gam'a doithem choiya thilbol ho chung'a jong achutan Mose angsung'a ading ngam ta pouvin, ajeh chu uilut natna huoisi chun amahole Egypt mite jouse alhun den jeng ahitai.
And the magicians could not stand before Moses, because of the boil: for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.
12 Ahinlah Pakaiyin Pharaoh lungthim asutah nalaijin, “Pakaiyin Mose heng'a aseidohsa bang'in, Pharaoh in ngainahsa in anei hih laiye.”
And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not to them; as the LORD had spoke to Moses.
13 Pakaiyin Mose heng'a asei yin, “Jingkah matah'in thouvin Pharaoh angsung'a ga ding'in lang, ajah'a seijin. Hebrew mite Pakai Pathen in hiti hin aseije: “Kamite soldoh tan, keima kin agabol na ding uvin.”
And the LORD said to Moses, Rise early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
14 “Na soldoh louva ahile, keiman natna huoisi ka hin lansah benah lai ding nangma le nanung juiho chule namite chung'a ka hin lansah cheh ding, chuteng nangman keima Pakai tailou leiset'a Pathen dang aum poi ti na hin hetdoh ding ahi,” ati.
For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thy heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people: that thou mayest know that [there is] none like me in all the earth.
15 “Tu jeng ajong keiman ka khut ka lhan jah'a nangma le namite chung'a gamna huise ka lansah'a leiset chung'a hi kasuh mang hel jeng thei na hiye.”
For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.
16 “Ahinlah keiman leiset pumpia ka thaneina ka musah bou na hin hichu leiset pumpia kithe jal ding ahi.”
And in very deed for this [cause] have I raised thee up, to show [in] thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
17 “Ahinlah hicheng jouse nung injong nangma leh nangma na kichoisang gunset in, kamite na soldoh hih laiye.”
As yet dost thou exalt thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?
18 “Jing nikho tuphat dontah le keiman gilchang nasatah Egypt gamsung'a ima tichanna analha khaloulai chu kahin lhahsah ding ahiye.”
Behold, to-morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since its foundation even until now.
19 “Kino tan! Na loujaova gancha ho jouse hoitup ding in namite sol loijin, achuti louva ahile hi tabang gilchang ahung kheh teng lou jaova mihem hihen gancha hijong le aki dalha chan chu gilchang'in ase'a thi jeng ding ahi,” ati.
Send therefore now, [and] gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field: [for upon] every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.
20 Pharaoh nungjuiho mi phabep chu Pakaiyin hitia asei jeh chun aki cha tauve. Amaho acheloi jun loujaova gancha hole asohte ho'u chu aga puilut taovin ahi.
He that feared the word of the LORD, among the servants of Pharaoh, made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
21 Ahinlah Pakai thusei ija sep louse vang chun a loujao dung uva kihong tah'in gancha alha thang nalai uve.
And he that regarded not the word of the LORD, left his servants and his cattle in the field.
22 Chuin Pakaiyin Mose heng'a aseijin, “Egypt gamsung loujao tin cheng'a gelchang ahung kheh'a mihem ahin gancha ahin chule loujaova thingphung jouse hihen lang, Egypt gamsung pumpia thil umjouse ase khah na ding in vanlam nganlang na khut lhang jah tan,” tin asei tai.
And the LORD said to Moses, Stretch forth thy hand towards heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
23 Chuin Mose'n jong vanlam asang in a tenggol chu agah jah doh jeng le, Pakaiyin van thamjol aki thinsah'in gelchang ahung khe tan, leiset chung geijin meikong ahung leng lha tan, Egypt gam pumpia Pakaiyin gilchang goju toh ki bang chat in a khehsah tan ahi.
And Moses stretched forth his rod towards heaven, and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground: and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
24 Imatih chan a jong hitobang gilchang chu Egypt gamsunga anakhe khalou lai ahin, tanglou hel'in gelchan chu akhe tan meikou apah lha jeng in ahi.
So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there had been none like it in all the land of Egypt, since it became a nation.
25 Hitabang gelchang chun Egypt gamsung pumpi alodim lhajeng tan chule lou jaova umphot gancha hihen mihem hijong le aum jouse chu asep lhu jeng tan, gamsunga thingphung jouse jong asep thang deh tan ahi.
And the hail smote, throughout all the land of Egypt, all that [was] in the field, both man and beast, and the hail smote every herb of the field and broke every tree of the field.
26 Goshen mun Israel mite chenna mun bou chu ahoidoh tan ahi.
Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel [were], there was no hail.
27 Hitia thil asophat chun, Pharaoh in jong mi asol loijin Mose leh Aaron agakousah tan hiti hin aseiye, “Tun vang keima chonse ka hitai,” tin kilhaina aneiyin “Pakai hi thudih tanpa ahin, keima le kamite ka dih tapouve,” ati.
And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time: the LORD [is] righteous, and I and my people [are] wicked.
28 Pakai henga nei tao peh lhon tan, ajeh chu vanthamjol aging jeng jung'e! gilchang na satah in akhe jing nalaijin ahi. Ka gim val taove. Keiman na soldoh tau ving'e; umjong umsot ta hih'un, ati.
Entreat the LORD (for [it is] enough) that there be no [more] mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.
29 Mose'n a donbut in, “ahi le aphai”, Khopi sung hi ka dalhah lhah leh keiman jong Pakai heng'a ka taoding ahi. Vanthamjol gin hung thip ding, gilchang khejong hung tang jeng ding, nangman jong leiset pumpi hi Pakaiya ahi ti na het doh ding ahi,” ati.
And Moses said to him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to the LORD; [and] the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth [is] the LORD'S.
30 “Ahinlah keiman kahe jing nalaije, nangma leh nasoh ten tuchan'in Pakai na ging hih lai uve,” ati.
But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God.
31 Hiti chun gamsung'a Phaipheng jouse leh sakol chang abonchan amangthah hel jeng tai, sakol chang chu avui ado laitah ahin chule phaipheng chu ahung don doh laita ahiye.
And the flax and the barley were smitten: for the barley [was] in the ear, and the flax [was] bolled.
32 Hiche lah achun suhlou chang leh butun chang vang ahoidoh nai, ajeh chu suhlou chang leh butuchang chu aduo aum lou laiphat ana hiye.
But the wheat and the rye were not smitten; for they [were] not grown up.
33 Chu in Mose jong Pharaoh angsung khopi dalhan ache tai. Pakai lam asang in ataovin ahile, vanthamjol kithin le gelchang khe chu atang jeng tan, leiset pumpia gojuh jeng jong atang hel tan ahi.
And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands to the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
34 Pharaoh’ in jong gojuh, van ki thin, leh gelchang kheh akitang taiti ahin hetdoh phat'in amale anung jui ho achonse kittao vin, angaiya bang'in Pharaoh lungthim atah kit tai.
And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders had ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
35 Pakaiyin Mose heng'a ana seidoh sa bang in Pharaoh lung-thim angaiya bang'in atah kittan, Pharaoh'in jong Israel mite asoldoh deh poi.
And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses.
