1 Nangman nasah ding houbuh chu tupet pon'a kikhong hiding, pondal som khat'a nasah ding, pondum chule pon pol them naman khom ding, pondal chengse chu Cherub ho lim hoitah'a kisem bang'a nakhai cheh cheh ding'u ahiye. Hichengsea chu houbuh nasah ding ahi.
“[Tell the people to] make the Sacred Tent using ten long strips of fine linen. They must take blue, purple, and red thread (OR, weave the strips from blue, purple, and red thread), and [a skilled craftsman] must embroider these strips with [designs that represent] the winged creatures [that are above the chest].
2 Pondal tinchang chu adung tong som ni le tong get'a len le sao hiding, pondal khat cheh vang chu tong li cheh hiding, pondal kiti phot aboncha adung avai alet le aneo dan kibang cheh cheh ding ahiye.
Each strip is to be (14 yards/twelve meters) long and (2 yards/1.8 meters) wide.
3 Pondal nga chengse vang chu kigom soh keiding chule alang khat'a pondal nga jong chu kigom soh kei ding ahi.
[Tell them to] sew five strips together to make one set, and sew the other five strips together to make another set.
4 Pondal masa chengse chu aninggol hoa akol kol'a tampi patdum'a nasem ding, hichebang bang'a chu pondal gol niloilah'a apam nung pen pondal gol lah'a chu abil nasut hom ding akol kola tampi nasem doh ding ahi.
For each set, [they must] make loops of blue [cloth] and fasten them along the outer edge of the strip, at the end of each set.
5 Pondal kimkhat chu abil navu hom pehding akol kol somnga nasem peh ding, chule pondal kolni lhinna gollah ajong abil navu ding akoljong somnga jen nasem peh ding ahi. Akol navu hom chengse chu amacheh lhing'a toding ahi.
[They must] put 50 loops on the edge of the first set, and 50 loops on the edge of the second set.
6 Sana kol somnga nasem ding, hiche sana sumkol ho achu pondal chengse chu na kaimat cheh cheh ding, chuteng houbuh thil hojouse kigom khomma houbuh khat'a nasah doh ding ahi.
[Tell them to] make 50 gold clasps/fasteners, to fasten both of the sets together. As a result, the inside of the Sacred Tent will be [as though it was] one piece.
7 Houbuh chung khuna ding nangman kelcha mul'a kikhong pon phabep naman chah ding, agoma ding'a pondal somle khat nasem ding ahiye.
Also, [tell them to] make a cover for the Sacred Tent from eleven pieces of cloth made from goats’ hair.
8 Pondal khat'a tongsom'a sao hi ding chule avai tong li cheh hiding, hiche pondal som le khat se chu aboncha alet le aneo dan kibang chet ding ahi.
Each piece of cloth is to be (15 yards/13.5 meters) long and (2 yards/1.8 meters) wide.
9 Pondal ngaho vang chu nakil mat soh kei ding, adang pondal gup jong na kilmat soh keiya, agup channa pondal vang chu ponbuh maiya chu na khu ding ahi.
[Tell them to] sew five of these pieces of cloth together to make one set, and sew the other six pieces of cloth together to make another set. [They] must fold the sixth piece [of cloth] in half to make it double over the front of the Sacred Tent.
10 “Chule pondal golmasa pen chu apam chin lah'a akol somnga jen nasem ding, pondal golni channa jong chu aning gol hoa akol somnga mama navu hom ding ahi.”
[Tell them to] make 100 loops [of blue cloth], and to fasten 50 of them to the outer edge of the one set and fasten 50 to the outer edge of the other set.
11 Nangman sum eng somnga jen na sem ding, sumkol hose chu aboncha pondal kol navu hom hoa chu nathil lut ding, ajeh chu ponbuh chu khatseh'a akitun doh na ding'a na kaimat soh kei ding ahiye.
[Tell them to] make fifty bronze clasps/fasteners and put them in the cloth loops to join the two sets together. As a result, the cover for the Sacred Tent will be [as though it was] one piece.
12 Chule ponbuh'a pondal amoh chengse chu, houbuh ponbuh nunglama chu nakailhah sah cheh cheh ding ahi.
[Let] the extra part of the cover, the part that extends beyond [the linen cloth], hang over the back of the Sacred Tent.
13 Ponbuh kisahna'a amoh chengse ho chu alang khat'a hihen khat lang a hijong le, houbuh lang to gella ding'a tongkhat cheh kikhai lhasuh ding ahi.
The extra half yard/meter of each cover, the part that extends beyond [the linen cloth] on each side, must hang over the two sides of the Sacred Tent, to protect the sides.
14 “Hiche ponbuh khu nading'a chu nangman jong kelgnoi chal vun le kelcha vun nemlai jeng naman chah ding ahiye.
[Tell them to] make two more covers for the Sacred Tent. One is to be made from rams’ skins that have been (tanned/dyed red), and the top cover is to be made from goatskin leather.”
15 Houbuh'a manchah thil ho chu nanagman thinggi thing jol namsella nasem cheh cheh ding ahi.
“[Tell them to] make frames from acacia wood, frames that will be set up [from which to hang the Sacred Tent covers].
16 Kol khat'a naman chah ding chu tongsom hiding, akol khat ding chu avai tongkhat'a sao le tong keh hiding ahi. Akol khatna tongsom hiding, chule akol khat ding chu avai tong khat le tong keh hiding ahi.
Each frame is to be (five yards/four meters) long and (27 in./66 cm.) wide.
17 Hiche thing kol khat cheh chu among lang'a abil navu hom peh cheh ding, houbuh thing kol jouse chu aboncha abil nahoi peh cheh cheh ding ahi.
[They] must make two projections at the bottom of each frame. These will be to fasten the frames to the bases underneath them. They must make these projections at the bottom of each frame.
18 Houbuh ding'a thing kol nasem peh ding chule lhang lamma dingse chu aboncha thing kol som cheh hiding ahi.
Make 20 frames for the south side of the Sacred Tent.
19 Thing kol khat cheh le among lang suhmat nading'a chu, thingkol som in chung'a pansa ding'a abil hom somin nadinga'a dangka'a kisem abiltom somli nasem ding, thingkol khat among lang'a chu asuh mat nathei ding abil tom ni cheh nasem peh ding ahi.
[Tell them to] make 40 silver bases to go underneath them. Two bases will go under each frame. The projections [at the bottom] of each frame are [to be made] to fit into the bases.
20 A golni channa houbuh chung lamkaiya pang ding chu thingkol som nia nasem ding ahi.”
[Similarly], [tell them to] make twenty frames for the north side of the Sacred Tent.
21 Dangka'a kitomjol abil somli hiding, thing kol khat mong lang'a pang ding chu abil tomni hiding chule thingkol lang khat'a pansa ding jong chu abil tomni mama hi ding ahi.
[They] must make 40 silver bases for them also, with two bases to be put under each frame.
22 Lhumlam nga'a houbuh nunglama pang ding chu thing kol gup nasem peh ding ahi.
For the rear of the Sacred Tent, on the west side, [tell them to] make six frames.
23 Chule houbuh nunglama'a pang dia abiltomma ding'a ni mama na sem peh ding ahiye.
Also, [tell them to] make two extra frames, one for each corner of the rear of the Sacred Tent, [to provide extra support].
24 Hiche thing kol teni chu anoi lam douva pang lhon ding, chule a lulam'a vang chu chaokol masapen chutoh adangho kaimat na a pang ding ahi. Hiche teni chu aning koltenia pang ding mong mong ahiye.
The two corner frames must be joined from the bottom to the top (OR, joined at both the bottom and the top). At the top of each of the two corner frames there must be a gold ring for holding the crossbar.
25 Dangka a kisem abil tom hojouse chu a gomma thingkol get hi ding, abil tom aboncha somle get lhing ding ahi; thingkol khat a pang ding chu abikol tom hi ding, anoija pang ding ma chu abiltom ni mama hi ding ahiye.
In that way, [for the rear of the Sacred Tent] there will be eight frames, and there will be 16 bases, two under each frame.
26 Houbuh lang khatna thingkol chengsea vang chu thinggi'a kisui nam kotgol nga nasem ding ahi.
[Tell them to] make 15 crossbars from acacia wood.
27 Hichu houbuh lang khat'a thingkol hose avaiya pang ding'a nga nasem ding, chule houbuh nunglama lhum lama pansa dinga agol'a jam ding'a ngama nasui ding ahi.
Five of them will be for the frames on the north side of the Sacred Tent, five will be for the south side, and five for the frames at the rear of the Sacred Tent, the west side.
28 Chule thing kol chengse chu akimlaija pang ding'a alailha pen chu among langto gella ding'a pang ding ahi.”
Tell them to fasten the crossbars on the north, south, and west sides of the Sacred Tent to the middle of the frames. The two long ones must extend from one end of the Sacred Tent to the other, and the crossbar on the west side must extend from one side of the Sacred Tent to the other.
29 Hiche thingkol chengse chu aboncha sana'a natomjol selding chaokol hojouse jong chu aboncha sana ‘a natom jol ding, agola kijam jouse jong chu sana mama'a natom jol cheh cheh ding ahi.
[Tell them to] cover the frames with gold, and make gold rings to fasten the crossbars to the frames. The crossbars must [also] be covered with gold.
30 Molsang chung'a houbuh na kimu sah bang bang'a na tundoh teitei ding ahi.
Erect the Sacred Tent in the way that I have shown you [here] on [this] mountain.”
31 Chu teng houbuh chu pondum, ponsandup chule ponsan pol thim naman chah ding ponbuh chu nakhu ding, tupat ponnem ma ki khong naman chah tei teija; hiche pon ho chu aboncha khut a kikhong cheh cheh hiding, cherub lim bang'a kikhong ding ahi.
“[Tell them to] make a curtain from fine linen. A skilled craftsman must embroider it with blue, purple, and red yarn/thread, making [designs to represent] the winged creatures [that are above the chest].
32 Chule aponchu sana akitom jol hiding thinggi thing'a kisui khom li chung'a hiding, abilkol a kol li ho achu na khai lhah cheh ding ahi.
[Tell them to] suspend/hang the curtain from four posts made from acacia wood and covered with gold. Set [each] post in a silver base.
33 Alukhuh asumkol hochu na khai lhah cheh cheh ding, hettohsahna thingkong jong chu pon lukhuh noija chu nahin koi ding ahiye; hichu pon lukhuna akona chu mungtheng chung nung nga konna chu muntheng laichu na sem khen diu ahi.”
[They] must suspend/hang the [top of the] curtain by hooks that are fastened to the roof of the Sacred Tent. Behind the curtain, in the [room called the] Very Holy Place, [they] must put the chest containing the [two stone slabs on which I have written my] commandments. That curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place.
34 Chu teng het-tohsah na thing kong muntheng laiya chu hepi touna khat na do ding ahi.
On top of the chest in the Very Holy Place [they] must put the lid which will be the place where [blood will be sprinkled to] forgive people’s sins.
35 Pon lukhuna polama achu dokhang khat nasem ding houbuh lhang lama dokhang toh kinga to lhon ding akimlai tah achu thao Meivah natun ding ahi; hiche dokhang chu sahlam sang a nadoh doh ding ahi.”
[In the room that is] outside of the Very Holy Place, [they] must put the table [for the sacred] bread on the north side, and put the lampstand on the south side.
36 Ponbuh kot maiya ding chu pon dum leh pon sendup chule ponsan pol thim. Tupat pon nemma heojang pahcha jem kijepna hoa bou nasem peh ding ahi.
[Tell them to] make a curtain to [cover] the entrance of the Sacred Tent. They must make it from fine linen, and a skilled weaver must embroider it with blue, purple, and red yarn/thread.
37 Pondah na ding'a thinggi khom nga nasui ding, hichengse chu aboncha sana a natom jolsel ding, akikhai lhah nading thihkol chengse jong sana twiya kisem jeng hiding, abil tom nga jong chu sum eng jenga nasem cheh cheh ding ahiye, ati.
To hold up this curtain, [they] must make five posts from acacia wood. [They] must cover them with gold, and fasten gold clasps/fasteners to them. Also [they] must make a bronze base for each of these posts.”
