1 Chuin Mose le Israel mite'n Pakai avahchoijun la asa uve: “Keiman Pakai vahchoila ka sah ding, ajeh chu aman loupitah in gal ajou tai; sakol ahin achung toupa Pakaiyin Twikhang len lailunga aseplut tan ahi.”
Then Moses sings—and the sons of Israel—this song to YHWH, and they speak, saying, “I sing to YHWH, For triumphing He has triumphed; The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea.
2 “Pakai hi kei dinga, ka thahat nale ka vahchoi ding'a lomtah ahi; ajeh chu aman galjona eipetai.” Amahi ka Pathen, ka vahchoi ding ahi, chule kapau Pathen ahin, choiat ding'a lom Ama bou ahi!
My strength and song is YAH, And He is become my salvation: This [is] my God, and I glorify Him; God of my father, and I exalt Him.
3 “Pakai hi galhattah ahin, ajeh chu amin jong Yaweh ahiye!”.
YHWH [is] a man of battle; YHWH [is] His Name.
4 “Pharaoh kangtalai jouse le agalsat jouse, Pakaiyin Twikhang len lailunga asep lut tauvin; Pharaoh deitum le alhen tumho abonchauvin Twikhanglen san dunga aseplut gamtauvin ahi”.
Chariots of Pharaoh and his force He has cast into the sea; And the choice of his captains Have sunk in the Red Sea!
5 “Twikhanglen kinong in achup gamsoh heljing uvin; abonchaovin songtum bangin Twinoi lamma a lhalhum gam tauve.”
The depths cover them; They went down into the depths as a stone.
6 “O Pakai nakhut jetlam hi loupe le thahat chungnung ahi. Melmate jeng jong a sugam hel tan ahi.”
Your right hand, O YHWH, Has become honorable in power; Your right hand, O YHWH, Crushes an enemy.
7 “Na lalna leh na loupina jal in na melmate naleh khup jing e, Nalunghan na nasatah in nahin tahlang jitan ahile; abonchauvin meiyin changpol akah vamkei bang'in a kavam soh hel tauve.”
And in the abundance of Your excellence You throw down Your withstanders, You send forth Your wrath—It consumes them as stubble.
8 “Nangma husan akonin twipi kinong jeng jong alhuh den in ahile atang jeng tai! Chule twikhanglen lailung'a twi kitangjong chu ale chupsoh heljeng in ahi.”
And by the wind of Your anger Waters have been heaped together; Flowings have stood as a heap; Depths have been congealed In the heart of a sea.
9 “Chuin Melmapa chun hitin aseiye, keiman anung ka del ding ka phah tei ding ahi. Thil kiladoh kale lah ding chule ka deichat bangtah'a kakile lah ding ahiye; kachem jam ka sadoh ding, abonchauva kasat chap jeng ding ahiuve.”
The enemy said, I pursue, I overtake; I apportion spoil; My soul is filled with them; I draw out my sword; My hand destroys them—
10 “Ahinlah nangman na haikhum in ahile, abonchauvin twikhanglen in a chup tauve. Twipi hattah lailung'a alhum gam tauvin ahi.
You have blown with Your wind The sea has covered them; They sank as lead in mighty waters.
11 “O Pakai, Pathen dangho jouse lah jeng'a jong koi macha nang kal lhah aumpon, amaho chu imacha toh'a kite thei deh pouvin, nangma kala koima cha thenna chang ding aum hih e. Loupi na leh tijat umtah'a thilbola koiham?”
Who [is] like You among the gods, O YHWH? Who [is] like You—honorable in holiness—Fearful in praises—doing wonders?
12 “Nangman nakhut jetlam najahdoh in ahile, hichun leiset'a melmate avallhum gam tauve.”
You have stretched out Your right hand—Earth swallows them!
13 Na lungsetna long louvin, na lhatdohsa mite aumpi jing in ahi. Na chena mun geijin namite nahin puilhung tai.”
You have led forth in Your kindness The people whom You have redeemed. You have led on in Your strength To Your holy habitation.
14 “Mitin vaipin hichu ahin jasoh tauvin ahile; Philistine gamsung'a cheng jouse din nat hesoh achang tauve.”
Peoples have heard, they are troubled; Pain has seized inhabitants of Philistia.
15 “Edom gamsung'a lamkai kitiphot alung thomlhao gamtan; Moab gamma lamkai jouse jong aki thing soh hel tauve. Canaaan gam'a cheng jouse jong alung thoi gamta uve.”
Then chiefs of Edom have been troubled; Mighty ones of Moab—Trembling seizes them! All inhabitants of Canaan have melted!
Terror and dread fall on them; By the greatness of Your arm They are still as a stone, Until Your people pass over, O YHWH; Until the people pass over Whom You have purchased.
17 “Nangman namite nahin puilut ding nangma molsang chungvum a chu na tundoh ding ahiye; ajeh chu nangman hiche laimun chu na chenna dinga na tundoh sa ahi tai, O Pakai nangman mun theng laijeng jong chu na khut te nia na tundoh ahi tai, ati.”
You bring them in, and plant them In a mountain of Your inheritance, A fixed place for Your dwelling You have made, O YHWH; A sanctuary, O Lord, Your hands have established;
18 “Pakai hi tonsot tonsot'a chung nung chang ahi tai!”
YHWH reigns—[for] all time and forever!”
19 Ajeh chu Pharaoh sakol kangtalai jouse twikhanglen lailung'a atol lut in, Pakai thahat chun achungvum uvah twikhangklen chu alechup sah gam ahitai. Ahinlah Israel chate abonchauvin twi-khanglen lailung tolgo lah achun akijot galkai sah tauvin ahi.
For the horse of Pharaoh has gone in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and YHWH turns back the waters of the sea on them, and the sons of Israel have gone on dry land in the midst of the sea.

And Miriam the inspired one, sister of Aaron, takes the timbrel in her hand, and all the women go out after her, with timbrels and with choruses;

and Miriam answers to them: “Sing to YHWH, For triumphing He has triumphed; The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!”
22 Mose'n jong twikhanglen San akon'in Israelte chu ahin pui nalaijun, chuin Shur kiti neldi gam'a akitol lut tauvin ahi. twidon ding thei louvin nithum sung'in akitol tauve.
And Moses causes Israel to journey from the Red Sea, and they go out to the wilderness of Shur, and they go three days in the wilderness, and have not found water,

and they come to Marah, and have not been able to drink the waters of Marah, for they [are] bitter; therefore [one] has called its name Marah.

And the people murmur against Moses, saying, “What do we drink?”

And he cries to YHWH, and YHWH shows him a tree, and he casts [it] into the waters, and the waters become sweet. He has made a statute for them there, and an ordinance, and He has tried them there,

and He says, “If you really listen to the voice of your God YHWH, and do that which is right in His eyes, and have listened to His commands, and kept all His statutes, none of the sickness which I laid on the Egyptians do I lay on you, for I, YHWH, am healing you.”

And they come to Elim, and there [are] twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm trees; and they encamp there by the waters.
