1 Chuin Mose le Israel mite'n Pakai avahchoijun la asa uve: “Keiman Pakai vahchoila ka sah ding, ajeh chu aman loupitah in gal ajou tai; sakol ahin achung toupa Pakaiyin Twikhang len lailunga aseplut tan ahi.”
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and thus did they say, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
2 “Pakai hi kei dinga, ka thahat nale ka vahchoi ding'a lomtah ahi; ajeh chu aman galjona eipetai.” Amahi ka Pathen, ka vahchoi ding ahi, chule kapau Pathen ahin, choiat ding'a lom Ama bou ahi!
My strength and song is the Lord, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will declare his praise, the God of my father, and I will exalt him.
3 “Pakai hi galhattah ahin, ajeh chu amin jong Yaweh ahiye!”.
The Eternal is the Lord of war; the Eternal is his name.
4 “Pharaoh kangtalai jouse le agalsat jouse, Pakaiyin Twikhang len lailunga asep lut tauvin; Pharaoh deitum le alhen tumho abonchauvin Twikhanglen san dunga aseplut gamtauvin ahi”.
The chariots of Pharaoh and his host hath he hurled into the sea; and the chosen of his captains are sunk in the Red Sea.
5 “Twikhanglen kinong in achup gamsoh heljing uvin; abonchaovin songtum bangin Twinoi lamma a lhalhum gam tauve.”
The depths have covered them; they went down to the bottom as a stone.
6 “O Pakai nakhut jetlam hi loupe le thahat chungnung ahi. Melmate jeng jong a sugam hel tan ahi.”
Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power; thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
7 “Na lalna leh na loupina jal in na melmate naleh khup jing e, Nalunghan na nasatah in nahin tahlang jitan ahile; abonchauvin meiyin changpol akah vamkei bang'in a kavam soh hel tauve.”
And in the greatness of thy excellency hast thou overthrown those that rose up against thee; thou didst send forth thy wrath, it consumed them as stubble.
8 “Nangma husan akonin twipi kinong jeng jong alhuh den in ahile atang jeng tai! Chule twikhanglen lailung'a twi kitangjong chu ale chupsoh heljeng in ahi.”
And with the breath of thy nostrils the waters were heaped up together, the floods stood upright as a wall; congealed were the depths in the heart of the sea.
9 “Chuin Melmapa chun hitin aseiye, keiman anung ka del ding ka phah tei ding ahi. Thil kiladoh kale lah ding chule ka deichat bangtah'a kakile lah ding ahiye; kachem jam ka sadoh ding, abonchauva kasat chap jeng ding ahiuve.”
The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my desire shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
10 “Ahinlah nangman na haikhum in ahile, abonchauvin twikhanglen in a chup tauve. Twipi hattah lailung'a alhum gam tauvin ahi.
Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sunk as lead in mighty waters.

Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the mighty? who is like unto thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
12 “Nangman nakhut jetlam najahdoh in ahile, hichun leiset'a melmate avallhum gam tauve.”
Thou didst stretch out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.
13 Na lungsetna long louvin, na lhatdohsa mite aumpi jing in ahi. Na chena mun geijin namite nahin puilhung tai.”
Thou leadest forth in thy kindness the people thou hast redeemed; thou guidest it in thy strength unto the habitation of thy holiness.
14 “Mitin vaipin hichu ahin jasoh tauvin ahile; Philistine gamsung'a cheng jouse din nat hesoh achang tauve.”
Nations hear it and tremble: sorrow seizeth the inhabitants of Palestine.
15 “Edom gamsung'a lamkai kitiphot alung thomlhao gamtan; Moab gamma lamkai jouse jong aki thing soh hel tauve. Canaaan gam'a cheng jouse jong alung thoi gamta uve.”
Then were troubled the dukes of Edom; the mighty men of Moab, trembling seizeth them; faint-hearted become all the inhabitants of Canaan. l
Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thy arm they shall be still as a stone: till thy people pass over, O Lord, till this people pass over, which thou hast purchased.
Thou wilt bring them, and plant them on the mountain of thy inheritance, the place, O Lord, which thou hast wrought for thy residence, the sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.
18 “Pakai hi tonsot tonsot'a chung nung chang ahi tai!”
The Lord will reign for ever and ever.

For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the Lord brought again upon them the waters of the sea; but the children of Israel went on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
20 Chuin Aaron a sopinu, themgao Miriam akhut'a khutbeh khat chu akilah in, numeija kaijousen amanu nung chu ajui tauvin, khutbeh jaonan apotdoh uvin alam uve.
Then took Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
21 Chule Miriam chun hiche jaila hi a-oijin ahi: “Pakai vahchoila sa'u hite, Aman loupitah'in gal asat'in ajou tai; sakol chung'a toupa jeng jong twikhang len lailung'a aleh khup jeng tai.”
And Miriam began her song to them, Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

And Moses caused Israel to depart from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.

And they came to Marah; but they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore they called its name Marah.
24 Chuin mipi Mose chung'a aphunchel gamtaovin hiti hin aseyuve, “Ipi kadon diuva hitam?”
And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

Chuin Pakaiyin hiche Marah munna chun Israelte ding in chonna dan khat a sempeh'in Ama'a akitah jing na diuvin jong hilchetna aneiyin ahi.
And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord showed him a tree, which he cast into the waters, and the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them.
26 “Aman hiti hin aseije, “Nangman ching thei tah'in na Pakai na Pathen thusei ngaijin, Ama mitmu'a thudih jeng'a na chon ding, a thupeh jouse na nit ding, hi tia chu Egypt mite chung'a gamna hoise ka lan sah chu nangho chung'a ka lansah louhel ding ahiye, ajeh chu keima nadamsah na Pakai chu kahi,” ati.
And he said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his eyes, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and wilt keep all his statutes: I will put none of those diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I the Lord am thy physician.

And they came to Elim, and there were twelve wells of water, and seventy palm-trees: and they encamped there by the water.
