1 Nakhangdonlai thanopna chun na Sempa suhmilna sodoh hih hen. Natehset masang nakhangdon laihin, Ama chu jabollin chule “Hinkho hi anomtapoi,” tin seijin.
And remember creator your in [the] days of youth your until that not they will come [the] days of evil and they will arrive years which you will say not [belongs] to me in them pleasure.
2 Nateh’a namit tenin nisa lha le ahsiho vah avetna athim masang in, chule meibol’a kona go hung ju lha ding van chu athim masangin Ama chu geldoh in.
Until that not it will become dark the sun and the light and the moon and the stars and they will return the clouds after the rain.
3 Na in ngah’a pang nakengho chu ahung kithin masang in, na mihat ho alhahsuh uva chule na lengkou teni ahung bon masang in, na Sempa geldoh in. Nasoh um amoh chengse le naha hon ima alhai theilou masang in; chule namit tenin amutheina bangkot, numei hon avetna chu ahung thim masang in, Ama chu geldoh in.
In the day when they will tremble [the] keepers of the house and they will bend themselves [the] people of strength and they will cease the [female] grinders for they have become few and they will grow dim the [women who] look in the windows.
4 Hinkhoa phat kijen naneipat ahung kichai masang in chule natohgim phat ahung kichai masang in, Ama chu geldoh in. Husat ginho ahung thipma chule vacha hamgin najah masat tengleh nangma nahung kithodoh ding ahi.
And they will be shut up [the] doors on the street when becomes low [the] sound of the grinding mill for someone may arise to [the] sound of bird and they may be reduced all [the] daughters of song.
5 Nangma lhuh ding nahung kichat tijatna, chule lamlen jotna’a jong setto ding nalung khama, vaopah banga nasam ho ahung kana, chule khaokhopi tobanga nakhupboh’a lam nahin jot masang in, chule jitoh kingaina imacha nei talouva nahung um masang in, Ama chu geldoh in. Nangman na tonsot mun na jot masanga, lhankhuh nanai tul tul’a, na kivuina muna lunghem ho aka phat’u hung lhun masang in, Ama chu geldoh in.
Also from a high [place] people will be afraid and terrors [are] in the way and it may blossom the almond tree so it may drag itself along the grasshopper and it may fail the caper-berry for [is] going humankind to [the] house of perpetuity its and they will go about (in the street *L(abh)*) the mourners.
6 Nangma nakhandon pat hin dangka khaogui akibotan masang, sana khon aki vohkeh masang, twinah phunga twibel aki tachip masang, twibel phunga kangtalai aki vohbal masang in, na Sempa geldoh in.
Until that not (it will be snapped *Q(K)*) [the] cord of silver so it may be crushed [the] bowl of gold so it may be broken [the] jar at the water spring and it will be crushed the [water] wheel to the well.
7 Ijeh inem itileh hiche phat chu ahung lhunteng, vut leiset kisoh kit intin; chule lhagao chu apepa Pathen henga kile kit ding ahi.
And it will return the dust to the earth like which it was and the spirit it will return to God who he gave it.
8 Thuhilpa chun, “Ijakai ajehbei tobangbep ahi, ajeh bei ahisoh keije,” ati.
Futility of futilities he said the Teacher everything [is] futility.
9 Hiche hi nalung in ching jing in: Thuhilpa chu miching ahin, chule amachun ahetchan chu miho ahilji ahi. Ama chun thuchih tampi chingthetah’a angaitoa, agel-a chule ahop khen tohle ahi.
And besides that he was Teacher wise again he taught knowledge the people and he weighed and he searched out he arranged in order proverbs [surely] a multitude.
10 Thuhilpa chun, thudihtah chu mudoh dinga ahol-a thutah chu kichehtah’a aphondoh nom ahi.
sought Teacher to find words of delight and [what] was written uprightness [was] words of truth.
11 Miching thusei hochu tengcha hemtah tobanga ahin, najongleh phachoma ahi. Athuseiju kilakhom hohi thingkil kikil matchet tobang leuva kelngoi chingpan akelngoi ho huikhomna’a amanchah ji tobang ahi.
[the] words of Wise [people] [are] like goads and [are] like nails firmly fixed masters of collections they are given from a shepherd one.
12 Hinlah kacha, Keiman thuhilna naneibe kit inge: Chingthei jin, ajeh chu lekhabu ho jihdoh kitia kichai tih aumpoi, chule lekha hasim hin na cholsah ahije.
And excess more than them O child my be warned to make books many there not [is] an end and study much [is] weariness of flesh.
13 Hiche hi aboncha thu kaigom ahi. Tun keiman thukhumkhana kanei hi ngai phan: Pathen ginna neijin chule athupeh ho jui jin, ajeh chu hiche hi amitakip tohding kin ahi.
[the] end of [the] matter Everything it has been heard God fear and commandments his keep for this [is] all humankind.
14 Ijakai chung changa, guhthim thudol- apha hihen ase hijongleh, Pathen in eiho thilbol dungjui cheh’a thutanna anei ding ahi.
For every deed God he will bring in judgment with every hidden thing whether good and or evil.
