< Danbu Ni Na 31 >

1 Chuin Mose’n Israel mite henga, thuhi chengse hi asei peh in ahi.
And Moses went, and spake these words unto all Israel;
2 Ajah uvah hiti hin aseiye, tunin keima kum jakhat leh kum somni ka lhing tai, ajeh chu keima che le vale kabol tahlou ding hichu Pakaiyin ka henga aseiyin, nangman hiche Jordan hi nagal kai thei lou ding ahi, ati.
and said unto them—A hundred and twenty years old, am I to-day, I can no more go out and come in, —Yahweh indeed hath said unto me, Thou shall not pass over this Jordan.
3 Pakai, Pathen chu nama sang lam'uva che ding, Aman nalam kai diu nama sang lam'uva namtin vaipi hijat pi hi asuh mang jeng ding, nama sang'uva nam mite hon chenna ding gam anei lou diu ahi. Pakai thupeh banga Joshua in nalam kai lhung diu ahi.
Yahweh thy God, is passing over before thee, he, will destroy these nations from before thee so shalt thou dispossess them, —Joshua is passing over before thee, as Yahweh hath spoken.
4 Hiche nam tin vaipi khu jat chunga khu, Pakaiyin Amor mite lah a leng teni Sihon leh Og abolna bang banga asuh mang diu ahi.
So will Yahweh do unto them as he did unto Sihon and unto Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them whom he destroyed.
5 Pakaiyin amaho jouse khu nangho khut a ahin pehdoh ding, chuteng keiman ka thupeh banga hi nabol diu ahi.
So will Yahweh deliver them up before you, —and ye shall do unto them—according to all the commandment which I have commanded you.
6 Kichatna ima nanei thei lou diu, chule nahat uva nahansan diu, ging lou hela naum diu ahi. Ajeh chu nanghon na kilhon piu hi Pakai, Pathen ahijing in, Pakaiyin na umpi jing uvin nada lhah louhel diu ahi.
Be firm and bold, do not fear nor tremble because of them, —for Yahweh thy God, it is who is going with thee, he will not fail thee nor forsake thee.
7 Chuin Mose’n jong Joshua akouvin Israel mite jouse mitmun aheng’a hiti hin aseipeh tai. Hat unlang hangsan uvn, mipi hijat hi napuiyuva Pakaiyin apu apateu khanga akitepna gamsung’a na puilut diu, amaho hi hiche gam sunga chu nachen sah a agam pumpi nalo sah tei diu ahi.
And Moses called for Joshua, and said unto him, in the sight of all Israel. Be firm and bold, for, thou, shalt go with this people into the land which Yahweh sware unto their fathers to give unto them, and, thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
8 Na masang lam'uva lamkai hi Pakai bou ahin, aman nalhonpi jing un, dalha louva ijakai asuh bukim soh ding, hiche miho chunga khu kichatna nanei lou diu, lungthoi louhela naum jing diu ahi.
But, Yahweh, it is who is going before thee, he will be with thee, he will not fail thee nor forsake thee, —thou must not fear nor be dismayed.
9 Chuin Mose’n danthu chu asundoh in, danthu lekhabu chu Levi chapate Pakai thingkong pua pangho chengse chu abonchan ape soh keiyin ahi.
And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, who were bearing the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, —and unto all the elders of Israel.
10 Mose’n amaho chengse chu thu apen hiti hin aseiye. Kum sagi ahung kichaiya, ki lhadohna phat ahung lhin teng, hichu lhambuh kut bolphat toh kitoh ding ahi.
And Moses commanded them, saying, —At the end of seven years in the appointed season of the year of release, during the festival of booths;
11 Israel mite hi Pakai, Pathen in adeilhen namuna chu ahung kilah tengleh, Israel mite jouse jah dinga hiche danthu lekhabu hi nasem doh ding ahi.
when all Israel cometh in to see the face of Yahweh thy God, in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel, in their hearing.
12 Mipi ho chu nakhop kimsoh kei ding, pasal ahin, numei ahin, ajahsoh kei diu Pakai, Pathen gindan ahet them cheh diu, hiche danthua ki sei jouse aboldoh sohkei na diuva nathu mop cheh diu ahi.
Call together the people—the men and the women and the little ones, and thy sojourner who is within thy gates, —that they may hear, and that they may learn, so shall they revere Yahweh your God, and observe to do all the words of this law;
13 Ajakha loulai achilhahte geiyin ajah theina ding in, Jordan galkaiya hiche gamsung nalut tenguleh hichengse hi nachate hou nahil jing diu ahi.
and that their children who know not, may hear and learn, that they may revere Yahweh your God, —all the days that ye are living upon the soil, which ye are passing over the Jordan to possess.
14 Pakaiyin Mose henga aseiyin, nathi nading nikho ahung naitai, Joshua henga seiyin lang ponbuh sunga hung lut lhon in, chutengleh keiman Joshua hi tha kapeh kit ding ahi. Hiti chun Mose leh Joshua jong achelhon in, ponbuh sunga chun aga lut lhon tan ahi.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses: Lo! thy days have drawn near that thou must die. Call Joshua and station yourselves in the tent of meeting, that I may command him. So Moses went, with Joshua, and they took their station in the tent of meeting.
15 Chutah chun Pakai chu ponbuh sunga meibang lom bang in ahung kilah in ahung kitung tan ahi. Hiti chun meibang lom chu ponbuh kotpi phung achun khom bang in akitung tan ahi.
And Yahweh appeared in the tent, in a pillar of cloud, —and the pillar of cloud stood, at the entrance of the tent.
16 Chuin Pakaiyin, Mose henga aseiyin, ven! Nangma napu, napate toh nalup khom nading phat ahung naitai. Nangma nung tengleh hiche mite hi abonchauva ahet phah lou nau gamsung ahin chot lut diu, pathen lim semthu nung ahinjui uva, notiho lah a vahlut gamdiu, keima umna jeng jong hepha louva umdiu, keima toh kitepna kasem jeng jong asuh keh hel diu ahi.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Lo! thou art about to sleep with thy fathers, —and this people will rise up, and go away unchastely after the gods of the foreigners of the land into the midst of whom they are entering, and will forsake me and break my covenant which I solemnised with them.
17 Chutia achon ni tenguleh keima lunghanna achung'uva hung soudoh jeng ding, keiman jong amaho kanung ngat jeng ding, chuteng mihon amaho abah gam jeng diu, thilse tincheng le hesoh gentheinan abop diu, eiho Pathen in ei umpi lou phat uva thilse hijatpi hi eiho chunga hung lhung jeng ahitai, tia asei diu ahi.
Then will mine anger kindle upon them in that day, and I will forsake them and will hide my face from them and they shall be consumed, and many calamities and misfortunes shall find them out, —and they will say, in that day, Is it not because my God is not in my midst, that these calamities have found me out?
18 Hitia thil ahin bol niteng uleh keiman jong ama hoa kona kamai kasel manga ka nung sun diu, ajeh chu amaho hin pathen semthu ho abel gam tauvin ahi.
But, I, will utterly, hide, my face, in that day, because of all the wickedness which they have done, in that they have turned away unto other gods.
19 Tun nanghon hichengse sun doh unlang, Israel mite henga nahil them diu ahi. Hiche hi Israel mite douna keima hettoh sahna apang jing din akam sung uvah mop soh keiyun.
Now, therefore write ye for you this Song, and teach it unto the sons of Israel put it in their mouths, —that this Song may become for me a witness against the sons of Israel.
20 Ajeh chu apu, apate hou peh dinga ka kihahselna gamsung khoiju leh bongnoi lonna gam sunga ka hinpui lut phat uvin, anomsa gam tauvin, tun akihei mang gamsoh keiyun pathen chom chom abel tauvin, hiche ho kinbol in apang un, keima don louvin eikoi tauvin ahi.
When I bring them upon the soil which I sware unto their fathers, flowing with milk and honey, and they shall eat and be filled and wax fat, then will they turn away unto other gods and serve them, and despise me, and break my covenant.
21 Thilse tincheng in ahin lhun den diu, hiche la hi amaho dinga hettohsanaa hung pang jing ding ahi. Hiche la hi haimil louhela achilhahteu khangeiya achin jing diu, ajeh chu keiman katepna gam sunga kahin puilut masang uva alunggel ngaitou ijakai ka hetsoh ahitai.
And it shall come to pass, when many calamities and misfortunes shall find them out, then shall this Song respond to their face, as a witness, for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouth of their seed, for I know their imagination, which they are forming to-day, ere yet I bring them into the land of which I sware unto their fathers.
22 Chuin Mose’n jong hiche nikho mama chun la chu asundoh in, Israel mite jouse ahilthem soh keiyin ahi.
Moses therefore wrote this Song on that day, —and taught it unto the sons of Israel.
23 Pakaiyin, Nun chapa Joshua tha apen ahenga hiti hin asei peh e. Hat jing in, hangsan jing in, ajeh chu nangman Israel chate jouse ka kitepna gam sunga khu nahin puilut ding, kei man ka umpi jing nai, ati.
And he commanded Joshua, son of Nun, and said—Be firm and bold, for, thou shalt bring the sons of Israel into the land which I have sworn to them, —and, I, will be with thee.
24 Mose’n jong hiche danthu chengse chu abonchan asundoh soh keiyin, achaina geiyin asundoh soh keiyin ahi.
And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law, upon a scroll, —until he had finished them,
25 Chuin Mose’n Pakai kitepna thingkong pua pang, Levi mite henga hiti hin aseipeh tauve.
then Moses commanded the Levites, who were bearing the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, saying:
26 Hiche danthu lekhabu hi, Pakai kitepna thing kong sunga chun koijun, hiche hi nangho douna hettoh sahnaa pang jing ding ahi.
Take this scroll of the law, and put it at the side of the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your God, —so shall it be there in thy midst as a witness.
27 Ajeh chu doumah mah in nachon in, nalou chal e tijong kahen, tun vevin, nangho toh kaum jing in jong Pakai doumah tampi nabol un, ka thi nung le ijat nabolbe diu hitam!
For, I, know thy perverseness, and thy stiff neck, —lo! while I am yet alive with you to-day, ye are, quarrelling, with Yahweh, and how much more after my death?
28 Nalah uva upa ho jouse na phung kailhah cheh uva kon in ka henga hinsol tauvin, nalah uva vaihoma pangho jong hinkou khom unlang, thu hijat chengse hi aheng uva ka seipeh ding, amaho douna hettohsana apang dinga van leh leiset kakou khom ding ahi.
Call together unto me all the elders of your tribes and your officers, —and let me speak in their hearing these words, and let me take to witness against them the heavens and the earth.
29 Ajeh chu keima thi nung teng melse tah tah a nachon diu, ka thupeh jousea kona na kihei manghel diu ahiti, ka hesoh keiyin, akhon nileh nachung uva thilse hung lhung ding, Pakai mit mua thilse jeng nahin bol diu, nakhut chaloh danu ijakaiya kona Pakai lunghanna na chung uva hung lhung ding ahi.
For I know that after my death, ye will break faith, and turn aside out of the way which I have commanded you, —and calamity will befall you in the afterpart of the days, because ye will do the thing that is wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, to provoke him with the work of your own hands.
30 Mose’n jong hiche la chu Israel mite jouse nabenga ahetsah tan ahi.
So Moses spake in the hearing of all the convocation of Israel the words of this Song, until they were ended: —
