Danbu Ni Na 24
1 Pasal in numei chu ji dinga akipui teng, hiche numeinu chu achung’a themmo na ana um khah tah a, ajipa chu alung lhaisah jou tah louva ahileh, ajipan jong kidana lekha phatah asut ding hichu akichoi sah a, a insunga kona asoldoh ding ahi.
When a man takes a wife and marries her, then it shall be, if she finds no favour in his eyes because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a certificate of divorce, put it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
2 Chuteng numeinu chu che a, pasal dang khat toh gaki cheng thei ahi.
When she has departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.
3 Chule hiche ajipa jong chun numeinu chunga chu, lungkim louna aneikhah a ahileh, amasa ngaiya banga kidana lekha asut peh ding akichoi sah a a-insunga kona asoldoh jeng ding ahi. Ahinlah aji luipa chu ana thi khah tah leh,
If the latter husband hates her, and writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house; or if the latter husband dies, who took her to be his wife;

her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife after she is defiled; for that would be an abomination to the LORD. You shall not cause the land to sin, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.
5 Pasal khat chu ajinei thah ahileh, amapa chu galsat mia panda hen chule natoh dang jong bolsah lou ding ahi. Kum khat lhingset ain muna um ding, alungdei pennu chutoh noma umkhom ding ahi.
When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, neither shall he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.

No man shall take the mill or the upper millstone as a pledge, for he takes a life in pledge.
7 Koi hileh asopi Israel mi khat tou aguh a aguh pattah akimat doh’a ahileh, hiche ami guhdoh chu soh banga abol tah a, aki joh mang jenga, hitobang gucha chu thina nachan sah diu, hiche ho chu nalah uva kona nasuh mang diu ahi.
If a man is found stealing any of his brothers of the children of Israel, and he deals with him as a slave, or sells him, then that thief shall die. So you shall remove the evil from amongst you.
8 Chule phah natna chung chang thudol ahin, Levi thempu hon nahilna bang uva nabol na diuvin limgeh chan um uvin, keima thupeh banga nanghon jong nabol doh theina diu ahi.
Be careful in the plague of leprosy, that you observe diligently and do according to all that the Levitical priests teach you. As I commanded them, so you shall observe to do.

Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam, by the way as you came out of Egypt.

When you lend your neighbour any kind of loan, you shall not go into his house to get his pledge.
11 Chule nangho in polama naum diu, nangho thil bat a lapa vang chu insunga lut a, nabat sahna diuva thil na lepeh diu pen chu ahin choidoh diu ahi.
You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you lend shall bring the pledge outside to you.
12 Nangho thil bat a lapa chu mivaicha neilal ahi khah tahleh, nanghon achunga asea lethuhna nanei lou diu ahi.
If he is a poor man, you shall not sleep with his pledge.
13 Nisa lhum tengleh hiche athil bat man chu nale sah diu, chuteng aman aponsil achol pen chu lupna a aman ding, nanghon jong phatthei nachan tei diu ahi. Hichu Pakai, Pathen maiya thil dih tah ahi.
You shall surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his garment and bless you. It shall be righteousness to you before the LORD your God.
14 Soh thalah khat chu nasuh gimlou hel diu, hitobanga vaichaa hinkho mang mihem chu, nagam sung'uva cheng nasopi mikhat tou hi nante.
You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates.
15 Hitobang mihem chu naki thalah nikho mamau nilhum masang a, atohman chu napeh diu ahi. Ama chu mivaicha tah ahin, athaman chu anga jing ding, a chuti louva ahileh ama akona lhasetna hung lhung thei ding, aman jong nangho douna jal'a Pakai henga thu hinsei in tin, hichu nangho dinga chonset ahi.
In his day you shall give him his wages, neither shall the sun go down on it, for he is poor and sets his heart on it, lest he cry against you to the LORD, and it be sin to you.
16 Chule mipa ho chu achate jal'a thina ki chansah louhel diu, achate jal'a jong apate thina ki chansah lou ding ahi. Amavang koi hileh ama ama chonset jal'a bou chu thina kichan sah ding ahi.
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers. Every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
17 Khopem mikhat leh chagapa chung thua adihna thutan chu nahei loudiu, meithai ho ponsil jong thilbat mana nalah peh thei lou diu ahi.
You shall not deprive the foreigner or the fatherless of justice, nor take a widow’s clothing in pledge;
18 Ajeh chu nangho jong Egypt gamsunga soh changsa nahiuvin, Pakai, Pathen akona lhatdamsa ihiuve, ti nasuh mil lou diu, hiche pen tah jeh’a chu keiman bol in tia ka thupeh chu nabol jeng diu ahi.
but you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and the LORD your God redeemed you there. Therefore I command you to do this thing.
19 Lou laiya chang at a nakon tenguleh, lou laiya changpal nada lhah thei lou diu, changpal le akhai athang ho jong nanung lo thei lou diu ahi. Hiche ho chu chaga hole nubei, pabei meithai ho ding ahi. Chuteng Pakai, Pathen in nabol natoh jouseuva kona phattheina dimset naboh diu ahi.
When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go again to get it. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
20 Olive thing na phuh lhuh tenguleh, avel vel'a nivei chang naphuh lou diu, mivaicha, chaga, nulou, palou ho dinga nakhen tei diu ahi.
When you beat your olive tree, you shall not go over the boughs again. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
21 Lengpi leiya lengpiga naki chop khom teng ujongleh, nada lhah nasa nung'uva akhai chengse chu na donlou diu ahi. Ajeh chu chaga, mivaicha, meithai nulou, palou ho ding ahiye.
When you harvest your vineyard, you shall not glean it after yourselves. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
22 Ajeh chu nangho jong Egypt gam sunga ana soh changsa chu nahiuvin, hichu nagel doh jing diu chule hichengse hi nabol diuva ka thupeh nahi.
You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt. Therefore I command you to do this thing.
