< Daniel 11 >
1 Keivang, Michael vantil kom’a kading jing in, Meok mi Darius lengchan kal kum masapen’a pat’a, ama pandetna ding leh hatsahna ding’a kigo jing kahi.
I, therefore, in the first year of Darius the Mede, was at my station to strengthen and embolden him;
2 Tua hi, keiman naheng’a thudih chu ka phondoh ding ahi. Vetan, Persiate leng thumtah hung lendoh’a, vai ahinpoh ding, chujou leh leng li na pa vang chu, leng masaho sanga nasa tah’a haojo cheh ding ahi. Aman ahaona leh athahatna mangcha-a amitakip atildoh ding chuleh Greek lenggam chung’a gal asat ding ahi.
and, now, the truth, I will tell thee: —Lo! there are, yet three kings, to arise—belonging to Persia, and, the fourth, will amass greater riches than they all, and, when he hath strengthened himself in his riches, the whole, will stir up, the kingdom of Greece.
3 Chuteng leh, leng hattah khat hung umdoh kit ding, aman thuneitah’a lengvai apoh ding, anop nop abol ding ahi.
And so a hero king, will arise, —and wield great authority, and do according to his own pleasure;
4 Amavang, athahat athunei laitah’a, alenggam hungkeh ding, chuleh alenggam chu hopli kiso ding ahi. Ama son le chilhah hilou hon lengvai apoh ding, ahinlah, aman thuneitah’a vai apohlai bang’a, amahon thahat leh thuneina aneilou ding’u ahi. Ajeh chu alengvaipohna chu ajunga kibotdoh’a, midang kipedoh ahitai.
but, when he hath arisen, his kingdom, shall be broken in pieces, and be divided, toward the four winds of the heavens, —but not to his own posterity, nor according to his own authority which he wielded, for his kingdom, shall be uprooted, even for others besides these.
5 Chutah leh, lhanglam lengpa hung hatdoh ding, amavang, ama sepai lamkai ho lah’a chu, mikhat ama sang’a hung thaneijo ding chuleh alenglam’a chu hu-ham tah’a vai ahinhop ding ahi.
But a king of the south, will become strong, even from among his rulers, —and will prevail against him, and have authority, a great authority, shall his authority be.
6 Kum phabep jou leh sahlam lengpa leh lhanglam lengpa, hung kihoutoh’a chamna khat asemdoh lhon ding ahi. Kihou chamna suhdetna dinga lhanglam lengpan achanu chu sahlam lengpa jiding a apeh ding. Hijongleh, amanun thuneina ima anei joulou ding chuleh apan jong chutima-a koima athunun jou dehlou ding ahi. Chuleh amanu chu anungjui ho leh apan khompi ho jouse toh kisugam ding ahiuve.
And, at the end of years, they will league together, yea, the daughter of the king of the south, will go in unto the king of the north, to make peace, but she shall not retain strength of arm, neither shall he stand, nor his arm, but she shall be delivered up—she herself, and they who brought her in, and he who begat her, and he that strengthened her in the times.
7 Hijongleh, amanu inkote khat chu lhanggam’a leng hung chang ding, aman asepai tamtah toh sahlam lengpa kulpi anokhum’a asat ding chuleh ajo ding ahi.
But one will stand up from the sprout of her roots, [in] his stead, —and he will enter the army, and enter into a fortress of the king of the north, and deal with them and shew himself strong;
8 Ama Egypt gam’a akilekit teng, amaho doilim semthu jouse apoh mang ding, chuleh sana leh dangka-a kisem thil manlu tampi jong apohmang tha ding ahi. Chujou teng, kum phabeppi sung’a sahlam lengpa chu kisatpi talouva amachang adalhah ding ahi.
yea, even their gods, with their molten images, with their delightful vessels of silver and gold, with a host of captives, will he bring into Egypt, —and, he, will stand more, years, than the king of the north;
9 Chujou tengleh, sahlam lengpa chu lhanggam lengpa gamsung’a hung lut’a gal ahin sat khum ding ahi. Hijongleh ama agam lang’a kinungle kitloi ding ahi.
so will the king of the south, enter into the kingdom, and then return unto his own soil.
10 Ahivangin, sahlam lengpa chapaten sepai tampi asem dohkit diu, asepaiho chutoh twisoh bang’a hamgei guija lhanggam lengpa kulpi geija, gal asat khum ding ahi.
But, his sons, will rouse themselves to war, and gather together a multitude of large armies, but he will come on and on, and overflow and pass through, —and will return and wage war, up to his fortress.
11 Chutahleh lhanggam lengpa chu lungsa doh ding, sahlam lengpa sepai ho chutoh kisat ding chuleh aman agalmite chu abon’a ajosoh hel ding ahi.
Then will the king of the south, be enraged, and go forth and fight with him, with the king of the north, —and will raise a great multitude, but the multitude, will be delivered, into his hand.
12 aman agalmite sepaiho abon’a adelmangsoh phatleh, lhanggam lengpa chu alungsung’a kichoisangna leh kiletsahna hung dim ding chuleh agalmite chu asang asangsom’a athagam ding ahi. Hijong leh, agaljona chu phat chomkhat’a ding bou hiding ahi.
And, when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart, will be uplifted, —and he will cause tens of thousands to fall, but will not conquer.
13 Ajeh chu kum phabep jouleh sahlam lengpan jong amasa sang’a tamjo sepai akhop kitding, asepaiho chutoh thil ijakai ninglhing set’a hung konsuh kit ding ahi.
Then will the king of the north again raise a multitude, greater than the first, —and, at the end of the times—some years, he will come on and on with a great army, and with great substance.
14 Hichepet hileh, agamsung mipi tamtah'in lhanggam lengpa chu adou diu ahi. Chuleh hiche gaova nathilmu chengse hi aguilhunna ding’a, namite lah’a pumhat jeng’a thilbol mihon jong lengpa douna gal asat dingu ahi. Hijong leh amahon gal chu ajo lou diu ahibouve.
And, in those times, many, will rise against the king of the south, —and, the sons of the oppressors of thy people, will exalt themselves to confirm the vision, but will be overthrown.
15 Chutah leh, sahlam lengpa chu hungkon intin, dettah’a pal kikaikhum kulpi umna khopi jeng jong anokhum’a alahding ahi. Hiche phatleh, lhanglam gam’a sepai ahatlai lai ho jeng jong amasanga pang joulou diu ahi, ajeh chu ama nan jou nading tha anei lou diu ahitai.
Then will come in the king of the north, and cast up a rampart, and capture a city of strongholds, —and, the arms of the south, will not rise, nor the people of his chosen ones, and there shall be no strength to rise.
16 Chuteng sahlam lengpa chu adou jou ding beihel’a hung machal ding, anop nop abol’a koiman akhamtang joulou ding ahitai. Aman Israel gamloupi chu achotpha-a asuhmang gotding chuleh athu noija akoi ding ahi.
So shall he that cometh against him do according to his own pleasure, and, none, shall stand before him, —therefore will he take his stand in the beautiful land, and it will languish and be exhausted in his hand.
17 Aman alenggam thahatna pumpi chutoh hungkon’a, lhanggam lengpa toh kimaito’a kihouchamna agonding ahi. Chuleh aman alenggam suhmang peh nading a achanu chu lhanggam lengpa ji dinga agon ding, ahivanga, athilgon ho abon’a losam ding ahi.
Then will he set his face to enter, with the might of all his kingdom, and, equitable terms with him, will make, —and, a daughter of women, will he give him to corrupt her, but she will not remain, nor, his, shall she become.
18 Hiche ban’a chu, aman twikhanglen pang’a gamho ahin lunglutpi ding, gal abolkhum kit ding chuleh khopi tampi alah ding ahi. Ahivang in, gamdang sepai lamkai khat in, hichea hi, lengpa kiloupisahna ho chu achaina ahin semding chuleh jumleh ja thoh’a akinungle sah ding ahi.
Then will he turn his face to the Coastlands, and will capture many, —but a commander, will bring to an end, his reproach against himself, that, his reproach, return not unto him.
19 Hitia chu, aman agamsung’a akiselna kulpi chu anung jot kit ding chuleh kimukit talou ding ahitai.
Therefore will he turn his face towards the fortresses of his land, —but he shall stagger and fall, and shall not be found.
20 Chutah leh, ama ban’a lengkhat hunglen doh ding, ama chun leng Inpi loupina dia, mipitea kon’a kai dong ding vaipo asolding ahi. Hijong leh, amahin phat chomcha lengvai apoh ding, chujou leh, lunghan jeh leh gal kisat jeh hilouva, amahi kisumang ding ahi tai.
Then will rise up in his stead, one causing an exactor to pass through the ornament of the kingdom, —but, in a few days, shall he be broken in pieces, not with anger, nor in battle.
21 Ama ban’a hi, duhdah lou migilou khat, lengpa son leh chilhah jong hilou khat, lengvaipo’a hung pang ding ahi. Aman alep lep’a thu asei ding chuleh duha thutah’a thilgon aneiding, mihon agellou pettah’a, lenggam thaneina chu alah ding ahi.
Then will rise up in his stead, one despised, and they will not lay upon him the dignity of the kingdom, —but he will come in unexpectedly, and strengthen the kingdom by flatteries;
22 Ama masang’a sepai tamtah kitheh ngim ding, kisumang hel ding chuleh kitepna leng chapa geija kisumang ding ahi.
and, the arms of an overflowing flood, will sweep all before him, and they shall be broken in pieces, —moreover also, the prince of a covenant;
23 Aman jouleh nal aseija kitepna abol ding, chuleh kichamna tampi asemdoh ding ahi.
and, by reason of the leaguing against him, he will work deceitfully, and will come up and become strong, with a small nation.
24 Gihsalna neimasa louva, gamsunga leipha laipen munho aholdoh ding, apu apaten anabol khah louhel abol ding ahi. Aman mihaosa ho neileh gou alah peh’a athe thang ding, anung juiho ahoppeh ding, chuleh kulpi detlai lai ho suhset nading thilgon aneiding ahi. Ahi vanga, athilbol jouse phat chomkhat kah’a ding bou hiding ahi.
Unexpectedly, even into the rich places of the province, will he enter, and will do what neither his fathers nor his father’s fathers had done, prey and spoil and substance—among them, will he scatter, —and, against strongholds, will he devise plots even until a (convenient) time.
25 Chujou teng, ama hung kitil doh ding, lhanggam lengpa douna-a sepai tampi asemdoh ding chuleh amaho chutoh gal kisat ding, ahivanga, aman ajolou ding ahi. Ajeh chu, ama suhmangna dinga thilgon aguh’a tampi umdoh ahi tai.
Then will he stir up his strength and his heart, against the king of the south, with a great army, and, the king of the south, will wage war, with a great and exceedingly mighty army, —but will make no stand, for they will devise against him plots;
26 Ama insung miten, ama manthahna aboldoh ding, a sepaite abon’a kitheh ngim ding chuleh mi tampin thina ato ding ahi.
and, they who have been eating his delicacies, will break him in pieces, and, his army, will he overwhelm like a flood, —and many wounded, will fall.
27 Hiche leng teni hin, thildang boipi louva, amani kah’a kisuhmang to nading bou agellhon ding, chuleh kihouchamna ankong phung jeng’a jong thujouva kilhem lhon ding ahi. Amavang aphachom imacha umdoh dehlou ding, ajeh chu, Pathen phat tepsa bang’a achaina chu thou thou ding ahi.
Now, as for the two kings, their heart, will be set on acting wickedly, and, at one table, will they speak, falsehood, —but it shall not succeed, for yet is the end for an appointed time.
28 Chuteng, sahlam lengpa chu, nei leh gou tampi akipoh’a agam’a kilekit ding ahi; ama hin, kitepna theng nam mite douna anop nop abol ding, chuleh agamsung jong asuhgep’a adalhah ding ahi.
So then he will return to his own land, with great substance, with, his heart, set upon a holy covenant; yea he will act with effect, and return to his own land.
29 Chuleh, achaina phat kitep chu ahung lhin tengleh, ama hung kilekit’a, lhanggam lengpa chu gal abolkhum kit ding ahi. Amavang, hiche hi, masang a agalbol tobang’a hungsoh talou ding ahitai.
At the appointed time, will he again enter the south, —but it shall not be like the former, nor like the latter.
30 Ajeh chu, lhumlam twipi pang’a kon’a, kong-innei tampi ama doudinga hungkon diu, hichun ama akichatsah ding, lung himo tah’a agam lang’a kilekit ding ahi. Aman hichea alunghanna chu kitepna theng mite chung a achuhsah ding, chuleh kitepna donselou miho chu akihoutheipi ding, amaho toh pangkhom diu ahi.
Then will come in against him the ships of Cyprus, and he will be disheartened, and again have indignation against a holy covenant, and will act with effect, —and again gain intelligence, concerning them who are forsaking a holy covenant.
31 Chutahleh, ama sepaiten, houin kulpi alodiu, asuhthang’uva asuhbohdiu, tanglouva kiboljing kilhaina gamtha jong asuhtangdiu chuleh thet umtah milimdoi chu atundoh diu ahi.
And, arms, from him, will arise, —and will profane the sanctuary, the fortress, and will set aside the continual [ascending-sacrifice], and place the horrid abomination that astoundeth.
32 Aman kitepna sukeh ho chu jou leh nal’a ajollhah’a. amaho kithopina amu ding ahi. Hijong leh, Pathen hejing mite vang chu dettah’a pang’uva, ama chu akisatpi diu ahi.
And, them who are ready to deal lawlessly with a covenant, will he make impious by flatteries, —but, the people who know their God, will be strong and act with effect.
33 Mipi lamkai chingtah ho chun, miho chu ahil uva ahetthemsah diu, hijong leh amaho vang chu meiya kihallih loi, chemjam’a kithat loi, chuleh konkhat chu achomuva songkul tangden loi, um ding ahiuve.
And, they who make the people wise, will impart understanding to the many, —yet shall they be brought low, by sword and by flame, by captivity and by prey, for some days;
34 Hiche bolgenthei naphat sunga hi, Pathen miten panpina themcha amu diu, ahivanga miho chun amaho chu, lungtho nei pum’a akivoppi diu ahi.
but, when they are brought low, they shall be helped with a little help, —and many, will join themselves unto them, by flatteries;
35 Chuleh lamkai miching phabep vang chu, bolgentheina jal’a pang joulou umdiu ahi. Hitia chu, achaina phat kitepsa alhinkah sea chu, amahohi kisutheng’uva chuleh kithenso jing diu ahi. Ajeh chu, achaina phat tep chu, vatjep nalai ahi.
and, of them who make wise, some shall be brought low, to refine them, and to purify and make white, up to the time of the end, —for yet is it for an appointed time.
36 Chutia chu, lengpan ama nop nop abol ding, amatah kichoisanga chuleh ama chu Pathen ho sang’a loupijo’a kisei ding, chuleh Pathen jong ataitom ding ahi. Ama lolhinna leh loupina hi chomkhat kah’a dingbou hiding, hichu Pathen lungsatna phat kitep hunglhin kah’a dingbou ahi. Ajeh chu, Pathen thutepsa chu thonlouva lhung tei ding ahi.
And the king, will do according to his own pleasure, and will exalt himself, and magnify himself against every GOD, yea, against the GOD of GODS, will he speak wonderful things, —and will succeed, until exhausted is the indignation, for, what is decreed, must be done;
37 Aman apute apate doi- pathen ho chu donlouva akoiding, chuleh numeiten akhohsah pen’u doi-pathen jong donlouva akoiding ahi. Ajeh chu, ama chu pathen ho sang’a loupijo’a kigel ahitan, pathen houna kiti poupou chu apum donlou ding ahitai.
and, for the god of his fathers, will he have no regard, nor, for the delight of women, nor for any god, will he have regard, —for, against all, will he magnify himself.
38 Hiche seh hilouva, apu apaten anahet khahlou, kulpi ngah pathen chu aman ahou ding, song mantam leh sana-dangka chuleh manlutah tah thilpeh ho apeh’a ajabol ding ahi.
Howbeit, to the god of the fortresses, in his place, will he give honour, —even to a god whom his fathers, knew not, will he give honour, with gold and with silver and with precious stones and with articles of delight.
39 Hiche gamdang doi-pathen toh pangkhom kahi tia asei ding, kulpi detlai jouse anokhum ding ahi. Chuleh ama heng’a hung kipelut miho chu ajabol ding, amaho chu gamkai ahoppeh’a, thunei vaihom’a apansah ding ahi.
And he will prepare, for the strongholds of the fortress of the sea, the people of an alien god, whom he will acknowledge—will greatly honour, —and will give them authority over the many, and, the soil, will he apportion for a price.
40 Chuteng, achaina phat alhinteng leh, lhanglam lengpan sahlam lengpa chu gal abol khum ding ahi. Hijongleh, sahlam lengpan, sakol kangtalai tamtah leh sakol sepai tamtah toh chuleh kong-innei tamtah toh kitho’a, chingpei bang’a lhanglam lengpa ahin nokhum ding ahi. Chuleh aman gam chom chom jong ahinjotpa-a, twipi hungsoh bang’a ahin lekhup ding ahi.
And, in the time of the end, will the king of the south, push at him, and the king of the north, will rush against him, with chariots and with horsemen, and with many ships, —and he will enter the lands, and overwhelm and pass over;
41 Chuleh ama chu Israel gamloupia hunglut ding, nam chom chom ho a-angsung’a lhulham dingu, ahivanga Moab mite, Edom mite chuleh gamlailung’a cheng Ammon mite ho vang, kihuhdoh diu ahi.
yea he will enter the beautiful land, and, many [lands], shall be laid low, —but, these, shall be delivered out of his hand, Edom and Moab, and the first portion of the sons of Ammon;
42 Aman gam tampi ahin lahding, chuleh Egypt gamsung jeng jong hoidohlou ding ahi.
yea he will thrust forth his hand against the lands, —and, the land of Egypt, shall have no deliverance;
43 Sana leh dangka jouse chunga aman thunei vaihomna aneiding chuleh Egypt gamsunga neileh gou jouse chunga jong vai ahomding ahi. Chuleh Libya mite leh Ethiopia mite chunga vai ahom ding, amaho chu asoh’a pangdiu ahi.
and he will have authority over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the delightful things of Egypt, —with Libyans and Ethiopians among his followers;
44 Ahinlah, niso lam’a konleh sahlam’a kon’a thu hung kithang chun ama akichatsah ding, chuleh, hiche jeh’a chu, ama lunghang tah’a mi tampi thatgam dingleh sumang ding’a, hungkon doh ding ahi.
but, tidings, will terrify him, out of the east, and out of the north, —therefore will he go forth with great fury, to destroy and to devote many;
45 Aman, loupitah lhangtheng leh twipi kikah’a chu ngahmun asem ding, aleng ponbuh loupi chu ason ding ahi. Ahivangin, chulai mun’a aumpet’a chu, ama dinga aphat kichaina hung lhung ding, koiman ama chu apanhu jou lou ding ahi.
and will plant his palace-home between the seas, towards the beautiful holy mountain, but shall come to his end, with none to help him.
