And it cometh to pass afterwards that David smiteth the Philistines, and humbleth them, and David taketh the bridle of the metropolis out of the hand of the Philistines.
2 Chule David chun Moab mite jong gal’in akisatpin ahileh ajou kit’in, amite chu asimtoh chet in, hichun abonchan tol'a alup sah soh keiyin, hitichun line a akigol sah soh keiyin, hiche line ni chan na geiya kigol ho jouse chu tha din thu apen, ahin adangse vang chu ahing hoiyin, hiche ahinghoi ho chengse vang chu David dingin soh in apang soh kei tauve.
And he smiteth Moab, and measureth them with a line, causing them to lie down on the earth, and he measureth two lines to put to death, and the fulness of the line to keep alive, and the Moabites are to David for servants, bearers of a present.
3 David chun Euphrates vadung geija agam akeh let nom jeh in achepeh in Zobah lengpa Rehob chapa Hadadezer jong gal’in akisat pin ahileh ajou kit tai.
And David smiteth Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah, in his going to bring back his power by the River [Euphrates; ]
4 Hadadezer khut’a konin David chun sakolkang sangkhat le sakol touthem mi sang sagi amanin, chule kenga galbol sepai sang som ni amane; chujongle sakol kangtalai jakhat kaiding tilou adangse chu akeng atanboh peh soh kei tan ahi.
and David captureth from him a thousand and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen, and David destroyeth utterly the whole of the charioteers, only he leaveth of them a hundred charioteers.
5 Damascus khopia cheng Syria mite chu Hadadezer kiti Zobah lengpa kithopi dia ahunguvin ahileh, David in hiche Syria miho jong chu sangsomni le sangni ma athat kit’in ahi.
And Aram of Damascus cometh to give help to Hadadezer king of Zobah, and David smiteth of Aram twenty and two thousand men;
6 Chujouvin David chun Ram gamsunga Damascus khopia jong sepai hon khat atousah tan ahi; hiti chun Syria mite jong chu David soh ahiuvin, don le kai ima apejiuve. Hitobang hin David chu agalkon na chan nah Pakaiyin galjona apejing in ahi.
and David putteth garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and Aram is to David for a servant, bearing a present; and Jehovah saveth David whithersoever he hath gone;
7 Hadadezer sepaite manchah sana ompho jouse chu David’in alan Jerusalem a ahinpo lut soh keiyin ahi.
and David taketh the shields of gold which were on the servants of Hadadezer, and bringeth them to Jerusalem;
8 Hichun Hadadezer khopi te ni Tebah le Berothai a konin jong David chun sum-eng tamtah jong ahin chom doh kit in ahi.
and from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, hath king David taken very much brass.
9 Chuin Hamath lengpa Toi kitipan jong Hadadezer sepaite abonchan David’in gal in akisat pin ahileh ajou tai, ti ajah doh phat in;
And Toi king of Hamath heareth that David hath smitten all the force of Hadadezer,
10 Toi lengpan jong achapa Joram chu David lengpa koma salam bolgun set din asol tan ahi; Ipijeh-inem itileh David chun Hadadezer kitipa gal a akisatpia ajojeh ahi; ajeh chu Hadadezer hin Toi lengpa akisat pi jing jeng anahi. Joram hin dangka le sana chule sum-eng ahin poh peh in ahi.
and Toi sendeth Joram his son unto king David to ask of him of welfare, and to bless him, (because that he hath fought against Hadadezer, and smiteth him, for a man of wars [with] Toi had Hadadezer been), and in his hand have been vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass,
11 Hichun David in Joram thil hinpoh chengse chu alan aman achom doh namtin vaipi a kona gal ajo tengle akilah dangka le sana jouse pumin Pakaiya athenso thatai.
also them did king David sanctify to Jehovah, with the silver and the gold which he sanctified of all the nations which he subdued:
12 Hiche thil ho hi Edom gam'a kona ahinlah jong aumin, Moab gam'a kona ahin lah jong aumin, Ammon mite akona ahin lah jong aumin, Philistines mite a kona ahin lah jong aumin, Amalek mitea kona ahin lah jong aumin, chule Zobah lengpa Reboh chapa Hadadezer chapa a kona achom doh chengse jong ajaovin ahi.
of Aram, and of Moab, and of the Bene-Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer son of Rehob king of Zobah.
13 Chuin ahung kile kit lamin jong chikhuh phaicham a Edom mite mihem sang som le sang get ahin that pa kit’in ahileh David chu aminthang cheh tan ahi
And David maketh a name in his turning back from his smiting Aram in the valley of Salt — eighteen thousand;
14 David chun Edom gamsunga jong sepai atousah in, hijeh chun Edom mite jong abonchauvin David soh ahisoh tauve. Hitobang tah hin David chu gal akonna chan a Pakaiyin gal ajosah sah jeng tan ahi.
and he putteth in Edom garrisons — in all Edom he hath put garrisons, and all Edom are servants to David; and Jehovah saveth David whithersoever he hath gone.
15 David chun Israel pumpi chunga lengvai anapon, chule amite adin apha le adih jeng anabol in ahi.
And David reigneth over all Israel, and David is doing judgment and righteousness to all his people,
16 Zeru’iah chapa Jo’ab chu sepai lamkaiyin anapangin, Ahilud chapa Jehoshaphat chu leng thuchingin anapangin ahi.
and Joab son of Zeruiah [is] over the host, and Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud [is] remembrancer,
17 Ahitub chapa Zadok le Abiathar chapa Ahimelech chu thempun anapang lhonin ahi; chule Seraiah kitipa chu lekha sun in ana pang in ahi.
and Zadok son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, [are] priests, and Seraiah [is] scribe,
18 Jehoiada chapa Benaiah chu lengpa vengbitho lamkai in anapangin; chule David chapate ho chu thempu ho lamkai in apanguvin ahi.
and Benaiah son of Jehoiada [is over] both the Cherethite and the Pelethite, and the sons of David have been ministers.
