After this it happened that David struck the Philistines, and subdued them, and David took the bridle of Ammah out of the hand of the Philistines.

He struck Moab, and measured them with the line, making them to lie down on the ground; and he measured two lines to put to death, and one full line to keep alive. The Moabites became servants to David, and brought tribute.

David struck also Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his dominion at the River.

And David took from him a thousand of his chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David hamstrung all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for one hundred chariots.

When the Arameans of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck of the Arameans two and twenty thousand men.

Then David put garrisons in Aram of Damascus; and the Arameans became servants to David, and brought tribute. The LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.
7 Hadadezer sepaite manchah sana ompho jouse chu David’in alan Jerusalem a ahinpo lut soh keiyin ahi.
And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem, which, later on, were also taken by Shishak king of Egypt in the days of Rehoboam son of Solomon when he went up to Jerusalem.

From Tebah and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took a very great amount of bronze.

When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had struck all the army of Hadadezer,

then Toi sent Hadoram his son to king David, to greet him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and struck him: for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And he brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of bronze.

The King also dedicated these to the LORD, with the silver and gold that he dedicated of all the nations which he subdued;
12 Hiche thil ho hi Edom gam'a kona ahinlah jong aumin, Moab gam'a kona ahin lah jong aumin, Ammon mite akona ahin lah jong aumin, Philistines mite a kona ahin lah jong aumin, Amalek mitea kona ahin lah jong aumin, chule Zobah lengpa Reboh chapa Hadadezer chapa a kona achom doh chengse jong ajaovin ahi.
of Edom, and of Moab, and of the people of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

And David made a name for himself when he returned from defeating the Arameans. And Abishai son of Zeruiah defeated the Edomites in the Valley of Salt--eighteen thousand.
14 David chun Edom gamsunga jong sepai atousah in, hijeh chun Edom mite jong abonchauvin David soh ahisoh tauve. Hitobang tah hin David chu gal akonna chan a Pakaiyin gal ajosah sah jeng tan ahi.
And he put a garrison in Edom, and all the Edomites became servants of the King. The LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.
15 David chun Israel pumpi chunga lengvai anapon, chule amite adin apha le adih jeng anabol in ahi.
And David reigned over Israel, exercising justice and righteousness for all his people.
16 Zeru’iah chapa Jo’ab chu sepai lamkaiyin anapangin, Ahilud chapa Jehoshaphat chu leng thuchingin anapangin ahi.
And Joab the son of Zeruiah was in charge of the army; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;
17 Ahitub chapa Zadok le Abiathar chapa Ahimelech chu thempun anapang lhonin ahi; chule Seraiah kitipa chu lekha sun in ana pang in ahi.
and Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abiathar the son of Ahimelech, were priests; and Shisha was scribe;
18 Jehoiada chapa Benaiah chu lengpa vengbitho lamkai in anapangin; chule David chapate ho chu thempu ho lamkai in apanguvin ahi.
and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada supervised the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were chief ministers.
