2 Hijeh chun lengpan Joab le apanpi sepai lamkai ho koma aseiyin, ‘Sahlam Dan apet lhanglam Beersheba chan geiya cheng Israel phung jouse gakhol toh soh keiyun lang mihem ijat mong mong hitamti kahet doh thei na dingin mihem jat gasim tauvin,” ati.
And the kyng seide to Joab, the prince of his oost, Go thou bi alle lynagis of Israel fro Dan `til to Bersabee, and noumbre thou the puple, that Y wite the noumbre therof.
3 Ahivangin Joab chun lengpa koma chun aseiyin, “Pakai na Pathenin mipi ho chu aja ajan punsah jeng tah ta, kapu lengpan namit a namu jeng nah chu me; ipi dinga kapu lengpan hitobang pihi bol ding nagot hitam?” ati.
And Joab seide to the kyng, Thi Lord God encresse to this puple, `hou greet it is now, and eft multiplie he an hundrid fold in the siyt of my lord the kyng; but what wole my lord the kyng to hym silf in sich a thing?
4 Ahinlah lengpan amaho chu mi agasim toh diuvin aseitan ahi, hijeh chun Joab le sepai lamkaite chu Israel mipite simtoh dingin lengpa angsunga a konin avaikon doh tauve.

6 Chujouvin Hit mite gamsunga Gilead kho le Kadesh khopi ahung geitauve; chuin Dan khopia ahunguvin Dan khopia konin Sidon lang ajong kit tauve.
and thei passiden bi Jazer in to Galaad, and in to the lowere lond of Odsi, and camen in to the wodi places of Dan; and thei cumpassiden bisidis Sidon,
7 Chuin Tyre gammang lah ahinjot’uvin Hivi mite khopi jouse le Canaan mite khopi jousea ahung uvin ahi. achainan Beersheba khopi Judah gamsunga Negeb a chun anga uve.
and passiden nyy the wallis of Tire, and nyy al the lond of Euei, and of Chananei; and thei camen to the south of Juda, in Bersabee.
8 Hitia hi gamsung pumpi ahin kholsoh kei phat’uvin, lhako le ni somni alhin donin Jerusalem khopi ahung kilekit tauvin ahi.
And whanne al the lond was cumpassid, thei camen aftir nyne monethis and twenti daies in to Jerusalem.
9 Chuin Joab chun mihem jat asim nau mijat chu lengpa henga apelut tai; hichea kisim doh Israel mijat chu pasal galsat a chemjam choithei cheh sang jaget alhingin, chule Judah mi chu sang janga alhinguvin ahi.
Therfor Joab yaf the noumbre of discriuyng of the puple to the kyng. And of Israel weren foundun nyne hundryd thousynd of stronge men, that drewen out swerd; and of Juda fyue hundrid thousynde of fiyteris.
10 Hitichun mipi asim soh phat’uvin David chu alungthima akisih behseh jengin, hijeh chun David injong Pakai henga taona anei jin hitin aseitai, “Kathil bol chung changa hin keima melsa tah in ka chonse tai; hijongle tuhin vo Pakai, nahenga kahung tao ahi, nasohpa keima themmona jouse hi lamang tan; ajeh chu keiman ngol hoitah hin thil kanabol tai,” ati.
Forsothe the herte of Dauid smoot hym, `that is, his concience repreuyde hym, aftir that the puple was noumbrid; and Dauid seide to the Lord, Y synnede greetli in this dede; but, Lord, Y preye that thou turne awei the wickidnesse of thi seruaunt, for Y dide ful folili.

Therfor Dauid roos eerli, and the word of the Lord was maad to Gad, the prophete and seere, and seide, Go thou,
12 “Chen lang David koma hitin gaseitan tin Pakaiyin aseiye, “Keiman na chunga katoh ding thil thum ka peh ding, hiche thil thumho lah a chu nangman na ngap chat pen pen khat chu kilhen in hichu nachunga kahin lhun sah ding ahi,” tin aseiye, gatin, ati.
and speke to Dauid, The Lord seith these thingis, The chesyng of thre thingis is youun to thee; chese thou oon, which thou wolt of these, that Y do to thee.
13 Hijeh chun Gad jong David koma ahungin hitin aseitai, “Nagamsunga kumthum sunga kel lhah ding nanop em? Lhathum sunga nagalte masanga najamle lea amahon nadel le le diu nadei em? Ahiloule nagamsunga nithum gamna hise nasatah lansah ding nanop em? Tun geltoh soh keiyin lang eihin solpa henga kaseipeh ding chu hoiche pen ham, dindetna neiyin,” ati.
And whanne Gad hadde come to Dauid, he telde to Dauid, and seide, Ether hungur schal come to thee in thi lond seuene yeer; ethir thre monethis thou schalt fle thin aduersaries, and thei schulen pursue thee; ether certis thre daies pestilence schal be in thi lond; now therfor delyuere thou, `ether auyse thou, and se, what word Y schal answere to hym that sente me.
14 Chuphat in David chun Gad koma hitin aseiye, “Kalung agim beh seh jeng tai; ami khotona lentah ahinai, hijeh chun Pakai khut’a kilehlut jeng taute; mihem khut’a vang neilhah lutsah hih hel’in,” atipeh e.
Forsothe Dauid seide to Gad, Y am constreyned on ech side greetli; but it is betere that Y falle in to the hondis of the Lord, for his emercies ben manye, than in the hondis of men.
15 Hijehchun Pakaiyin Israel chate chunga jingkah a pat aphat kitep sungsen gamna hise ahin lansah tai; hichea hin sahlam Dan khoa pat lhanglam Beersheba chan geiyin Israel mipi lah a mihem sang som sagi athiuvin ahi.
And the Lord sente pestilence in to Israel fro the morewtid `til to the tyme ordeyned; and seuenti thousynde of men weren deed of the puple fro Dan `til to Bersabee.
16 Hichun Vantil chun Jerusalem jong suhgam dinga agot’a akhut alap phat chun Pakaiyin thilse abol ding chu alung akhel’in Vantil mi sugama pangpa koma chun hitin aseitai, “Aphaset tai, tun nakhut umthim sah tan,” ati. And whanne the aungel of the Lord hadde holde forth his hond ouer Jerusalem, that he schulde distrie it, the Lord hadde mercy on the turmentyng; and seide to the aungel smytynge the puple, It sufficith now; withholde thin hond. Forsothe the aungel of the Lord was bisidis the corn floor of Areuna Jebusey.
17 Chuin David jong chun mi sugama pang Vantil chu amudoh phat in Pakai koma hitin aseiye, “Vetan, keima kachonsen, gilou tah in keiman thil kabol tai; ahinla hiche mihohi kelngoi banga emahelou ahibouve ipi abolset anei mongu ham? And Dauid seide to the Lord, whanne he hadde seyn the aungel sleynge the puple, Y am he that `haue synned, and Y dide wickidli; what han these do, that ben scheep? Y biseche, thin hond be turned ayens me, and ayens the hows of my fadir.
18 Hiche nikho hin Gad chu David henga ahungin akoma hitin aseiye, “Chetouvin lang, Jebus mipa Araunah changphol koma khun Pakai dingin maicham khat gasemtan,” ati.
Forsothe Gad, the prophete, cam to Dauid in that dai, and seide to hym, Stie thou, and ordeyne an auter to the Lord in the corn floor of Areuna Jebusei.
19 Hichun Pakaiyin Gad thu apeh bangin David jong chu achetou vin agabol tan ahi.
And Dauid stiede, vpe the word of Gad, which the Lord hadde comaundid to hym.
20 Chuin Araunah chu akiheijin agahven ahileh lengpa le asohte ama kom lam jona ahungu chu amun ahi; chuphat’in Araunah jong chu apotdoh pai paiyin lengpa chu agajabol’in tol'a amai asulut’tan ahi.
And Areuna bihelde, and perseyuede, that the kyng and hise seruauntis passiden to hym;
21 Chu jongle Araunah chun hitin aseiye, “Ipi ding pen tah a kapu lengpa nangma nasoh kei koma nahung jeng hitam?” atileh; David chun adonbut’in “Mipi chunga gamna hise hi akitol mangthei na dinga nangma changphol hi chohdoh a hikoma hi Pakai henga maicham khat semdoh ding kati ahi,” ati.
and he yede out, and worschipide the kyng bi low cheer to the erthe; and seide, What `cause is, that my lord the kyng cometh to his seruaunt? To whom Dauid seide, That Y bie of thee the corn floor, and bilde an auter to the Lord, and the sleynge ceesse, which is cruel in the puple.
22 Hichun Araunah jong chun hitin aseiye, “Kilah jengin kapu lengpa, chule nangin pha nasah lam pi a chun mang jengin; chule bongchal teni jong pumgo thiltoa naman dingin hikoma hin aum lhone; chujongle chang huina kangkui ho leh bongchal teni namkol jong hikoma hin aumnai; hiche hohi meithinga nati ding ahi.
And Areuna seide to Dauid, My lord the kyng take, and offre, as it plesith hym; thou hast oxis in to brent sacrifice, and a wayn and yockis of oxis in to vss of wode.
23 Vo lengpa, Keima Araunah kitipa hin lengpa dinga thil ejakai katodoh jeng ding ahi,” ati. Chujongleh Araunah chun lengpa koma hitin jong aseiye, “Pakai na-Pathenin nataona chu nasan peh teitei hen,” ati.
Areuna yaf alle thingis to the king. And Areuna seide to the king, Thi Lord God reseyue thi vow.
24 Ahivang in lengpan Araunah koma chun hitin aseiye, “Ahipoi, keiman na changphol man chu kapeh a kachoh ding ahibouve; aman kapeh louhel thil chu keiman Pakai ka-Pathen henga pumgo thiltoa kato lou ding ahi,” ati. Hiti hin David chun changphol leh bongchal teni chu dangka shekel som ngan akichoh tai.
To whom the king answeride, and seide, Not as thou wolt, but Y schal bie of thee for prijs, and Y schal not offre to `my Lord God brent sacrifices youun freli. Therfor Dauid bouyte the corn floor, and `he bouyte oxis for fifti siclis of siluer.
25 Hichun lengpa David chun Pakai anga maicham khat asemin, pumgo thilto le chamna kilhaina thilto atoh tan ahi. hichun Pakaiyin jong gamsung dinga a taona chu asanpeh in Israel chate chunga konin gamna hise lang chu akitol mangsah tan ahi.
And Dauid bildide there an auter to the Lord, and offride brent sacrifices and pesible sacrifices; and the Lord dide merci to the lond, and the veniaunce was refreyned fro Israel.
