And it was after thus and he enquired David by Yahweh - saying ¿ will I go up in one of [the] cities of Judah and he said Yahweh to him go up and he said David where? will I go up and he said Hebron towards.
2 David jiteni chu Ahinoam kiti Jezreel mi le Carmel kho a Nabal kiti meithaipa jinu Abigail ahilhon ne. hitichun David le ajiteu
And he went up there David and also [the] two wives his Ahinoam the Jezreelite [woman] and Abigail [the] wife of Nabal the Carmelite.
3 Chuleh ama mite ho jouse leh a insung mite jouse chutoh Judah gam lamah akitol uvin, Hebron khopi kom ah chun acheng taovin ahi.
And men his who [were] with him he brought up David each man and household his and they dwelt in [the] cities of Hebron.
4 Hichejou chun Judah gamma mikhat David komma ahungin, amapa chun David chu Judah mite jouse chunga leng din thao ahungnui. Hiti chun Saul vuija pang ho chu Jabesh – gilead mite ahiuve ti David in ajah doh phat chun,
And they came [the] people of Judah and they anointed there David to king over [the] house of Judah and people told to David saying [the] men of Jabesh Gilead who they buried Saul.
5 Aman hiche thuthot hi aneitao vin ahi: “nangho Pakaiyin phatthei naboh uhen ajeh chu nanghon na pakai pao Saul chungah naki tahnao navetsah un chule phatah in nanavui jun ahi.
And he sent David messengers to [the] people of Jabesh Gilead and he said to them [be] blessed you by Yahweh that you have done the loyalty this with lord your with Saul and you have buried him.
6 Hijeh chun Pakaiyin ami ngailutna longlou chun naumpiu henlang chule kitahna neitah in nabol uhen! Chuguh hilouvin keima jeng in jong nathilpha bol nachung uva kipaman kapeh ding nahiuve, ati.
And now may he do Yahweh with you covenant loyalty and faithfulness and also I I will do with you the good this that you have done the thing this.
7 Tun Saul athitan, hijeh chun keima leng thah din Judah mite thao einu taovin ahi, hijeh a chu keiman katep nahiuve Judah mite bangin keima din hangsan tah le kitah tah in pang uvin.”
And now - let them be strong hands your and become sons of strength for he has died lord your Saul and also me they have anointed [the] house of Judah to king over them.
8 Ahin Ner chapa Abner, Saul’s sepai jalamkaipa chu Saul’s chapa Ishbosheth chutoh Mahanaim lam ah achilhon tan ahi.
And Abner [the] son of Ner [the] commander of [the] army which [belonged] to Saul he had taken Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul and he had brought over him Mahanaim.
9 Hiah chun Ishbosheth chu Gilead, Jezreel, Ephraim, Benjamin, Ashurites gamsung leh Israel pumpi jouse chunga Leng din akiphong doh tan ahi.
And he made king him to Gilead and to the Ashurite[s] and to Jezreel and over Ephraim and over Benjamin and over Israel all of it.
10 Saul’s chapa Ishbosheth chu kum somli alhing tan ahi Israel te chunga leng ahi chun, chule Mahanaim akon lengvai kumni ahinpo pan in ahi. alangkhat nin Judah mite vang chu David a din kitah tah in aum jing jeng un ahi.
[was] a son of Forty year[s] Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul when became king he over Israel and two years he reigned only [the] house of Judah they were after David.
11 David in Hebron chu munpi in asem in, chule Judah mite chungah kum sagi le lhagup sung lengvai anapon ahi.
And it was [the] number of the days which he was David king in Hebron over [the] house of Judah seven years and six months.
12 Nikhat Abner in Ishbosheth’s sepai hochu Mahanaim akon Gibeon lam apui in ahi.
And he went out Abner [the] son of Ner and [the] servants of Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul from Mahanaim Gibeon towards.
13 Hiche phat chat chun, Zeruiah chapa Joab in David’s sepai hochun apuidoh in Gibeon twikul ah agakimupiu vin ahi. chule hiche mun ah chun alang lang in atou un akigar vettou vin ahi.
And Joab [the] son of Zeruiah and [the] servants of David they went out and they met them at [the] pool of Gibeon together and they sat down these [men] at the pool from this and these [men] at the pool from this.
14 Chuin Abner in Joab ja ah aseiyin, “Isepai teu themkhat emasang lhon ah kidelsah hite.” Atin ahileh, “Joab jong anom tan ahi.”
And he said Abner to Joab let them arise please the young men and let them play before us and he said Joab let them arise.
15 Hichun alang toa mi somleni cheh kideldin alheng doh taovin ahi – Saul chapa Ishbosheth langa din Benjamin mi somleni, chule David langa din mi somleni ma alhengdoh un ahi.
And they arose and they passed by by number two [plus] ten for Benjamin and for Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul and two [plus] ten from [the] servants of David.
16 Mikhat cheh in akitopi hou sam atuh un chule achemjam un khat cheh pongpeh akisutpih to un ahileh abonchaovin athi taovin ahi. hijeh chun Gibeon mun hi eitih in chemjam a kidot namun tin akihe jing tan ahi.
And they took hold each - on [the] head of neighbor his and sword his [was] in [the] side of neighbor his and they fell together and someone called the place that Helkath Hazzurim which [is] in Gibeon.
17 Hiche jouchun anikho maman nasatah in akisatou vin chule David sepai techun Abner le Israel mite chu gal in anajou uvin ahi.
And it was the battle severe up to muchness on the day that and he was defeated Abner and [the] men of Israel before [the] servants of David.
18 Chule hiche nikho chun David sepai te la ah Zeruiah chapate thum Joab, Abishai, chule Asahel apang uvin ahi. chule Asahel hi gam sakhinou banga jang tah a lhei thei mi ahi.
And they were there three [the] sons of Zeruiah Joab and Abishai and Asahel and Asahel [was] swift on feet his like one of the gazelles which [are] in the open country.
19 Chuin Asahel in Abner nung chu jungjelin mundang ema velou vin chule thil emacha jeh a kingapa lou vin adel tan ahi.
And he pursued Asahel after Abner and not he turned aside to go to the right and to the left from after Abner.
20 Hichun Abner akinunghei in ahileh amapa ahung chu amutan ahi, chuin aman akou in, “nangma Asahel nahiham?” ati. Chuin aman adonbut in, “henge keima kahi” ati.
And he turned Abner behind him and he said ¿ you [is] this O Asahel and he said I.
21 Chuin Abner in agih in, “chin lang michomkhat gaman in! chule chapang khangdong jep khat chu man inlang amanchah lahpih in” ati. hinlah Asahel chun Abner lamchu jangkei in mundanga kiheidoh lou vin ajuipeh in ahi.
And he said to him Abner turn aside for yourself to right your or to left your and seize for yourself one from the young men and take for yourself spoils his and not he was willing Asahel to turn aside from after him.
22 Abner chun Asahel chu ahinsam kit in, hichemun akon kihei mangin! Keiman nangma kathanom poi. Akhuti leh iti nasopipa Joab mai kamukit ding ham? Ati.
And he repeated again Abner to say to Asahel turn aside for yourself from after me why? will I strike you [the] ground towards and how? will I lift up face my to Joab brother your.
23 Ahin Asahel chu ama akon kiheimang ding anom dehpon, hijeh chun Abner in Asahel oipoh laitah atengcha bulgeijin asun lhum in ahileh atengcha chu anung langah apeidoh liu in hichun amun maman alhun athidan tan ahi. chule koi hileh hilaimun hinpha a Asahel thi muchan chu akinga un adingdan taovin ahi.
And he refused to turn aside and he struck him Abner with [the] back end of the spear into the belly and it went out the spear from behind him and he fell there and he died (in place his *Q(K)*) and it was every [one] who came to the place where he fell there Asahel and he died and they stood still.
24 Chuin Joab le Abishai in itabong thilsoh ham ti ahetdoh lhon phat in, Abner nung adel pei lhon tan, ahin Gibeon gamthip jotna lampi, Giah kom Ammah molsang agei lhonin nisan alhum den lhon tan ahi.
And they pursued Joab and Abishai after Abner and the sun it set and they they came to [the] hill of Ammah which [is] on [the] face of Giah [the] way of [the] wilderness of Gibeon.
25 Benjamin phungmi Abner sepai ho chu akithah gopkhom kit un molsang chungah chun apang taovin ahi.
And they gathered together [the] descendants of Benjamin behind Abner and they became a band one and they stood on [the] top of a hill one.
26 Chuin Abner in Joab chu ahinsam in, eitih chan a khat le khat ekitha to jing diu hitam? achaina lungjin najeng ahihi nageldoh loulai uham? Etih tah leh namiteu chu nasopi Israel te nung ahindel naova kon nakham gah dingu hitam? ati.
And he called out Abner to Joab and he said ¿ to perpetuity will it devour [the] sword ¿ not do you know? that bitter it will be at the last and until when? not will you say to the people to turn back from after brothers their.
27 Chuin Joab in ahinsei in, “Pathen bouvin ahei epiti ding ham nangman ima nahinsei lou hileh, ajeh chu keima hon jankhovah hella kahin del thei u nahi.”
And he said Joab [by] [the] life of God if if not you had spoken for then from the morning it had abandoned pursuit the people each from after brother his.
28 Hichun Joab in saki chu amutging in ahileh amite jouse chu adingdan un Israel sepai techu adel tapou vin ahi.
And he gave a blast Joab on the trumpet and they stood all the people and not they pursued again after Israel and not they repeated again to wage war.
29 Chuchi jan chun Abner le amite chun Jordan phaicham chu ajot peh un, Jordan vadung chu agalkai un chule jingkah geijin achijomjing un Mahanaim alhun kahseu vin kinga lou vin anachijom jing un ahi.
And Abner and men his they went in the Arabah all the night that and they passed over the Jordan and they went all Bitron and they came Mahanaim.
30 Hitabang tah chun, Joab le amite jong inlam akile taovin ahi. chule Joab in amite athiho chu ahin simtan ahileh mi somleko le Asahel alhahsam chu ahinmudoh tan ahi.
And Joab he returned from after Abner and he gathered all the people and they were missed of [the] servants of David nine-teen man and Asah-el.
31 Ahinlah Abner’s mi kithat jat chu jathum le somgup ahi, chule amaho chu abon va Benjamin phunga kon ngen ahiuve.
And [the] servants of David they had struck down of Benjamin and among [the] men of Abner three hundred and sixty man they had died.
32 Chuin Joab le amite chun Asahel’s longchu Bethlehem lammah apuvin apa lhankhuh ma achun avuitao vin ahi. chujou vin amaho jankhovah keiyin akitolun jingkho ahungvah in Hebron alhung taovin ahi.
And people lifted up Asahel and they buried him in [the] tomb of father his which [was] Beth-lehem and they went all the night Joab and men his and it became light for them at Hebron.
