In the twelft yeere of Ahaz King of Iudah began Hoshea the sonne of Elah to reigne in Samaria ouer Israel, and reigned nine yeeres.
2 Aman Pakai mitmu’n thilse jing anabollin ahi. Ahinlah a masanga Israelte lengho banglom lom’in ana phamo sampon ahi.
And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, but not as the Kinges of Israel, that were before him.
3 Assyria lengpa Shalmaneser in Hoshea lengpa chu gal ahinsat khumtan ahileh, Assyriate chun Hoshea chu namna in kai gihtah ana pohsah’un ahi.
And Shalmaneser king of Asshur came vp against him, and Hoshea became his seruant, and gaue him presents.
4 Ahinlah Hoshea in kumseh a apeh’u kai chu anapedan, chule Egypt lengpa So kitipa toh kithoa Assyriate thaneina a kona hoidoh ding aguh in tohgon ana neiyin ahi. Ahinlah hiche aguh a tohgon anei chu amudoh phat’in Assyria lengpan Hoshea chu ana mandoh in songkulla akoitan ahi.
And the King of Asshur founde treason in Hoshea: for he had sent messengers to So King of Egypt, and brought no present vnto the King of Asshur, as he had done yeerely: therfore the king of Asshur shut him vp, and put him in prison.
5 Hiche jouchun Assyria lenpan agam pumpi chu ahinsat-tan ahile, Samaria chu kum thum sung jen aumtauvin ahi.
Then the king of Asshur came vp throughout all the lande, and went against Samaria, and besieged it three yeere.
6 Ajonan Hoshea vaihom kum ko alhin chun Samaria alhutan, Israel mipite chu Assyria gam'a sohchang in analut tauvin ahi. Amaho chu Gozan munna Habor vadung pang jui'a Halah gam chenna munho a chun ana chensah’u ahi. Hichu Medes khopi ho khat ahi.
In the ninth yeere of Hoshea, the King of Asshur tooke Samaria, and caryed Israel away vnto Asshur, and put them in Halah, and in Habor by the riuer of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
7 Hitobanga Israelte chunga gimgentheina ahunglhun hi amahon semthu pathen ana ho’jeh'u, chule Egypt lengpa Pharaoh thaneina a kona ahin huhdohpa chujong leh hiche Egypt’a kona ahin puidoh uva Pakai Pathen douna chonset ana boljeh’u ahi.
For when the children of Israel sinned against the Lord their God, which had brought them out of the land of Egypt, from vnder ye hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and feared other gods,
8 Amahon Pakaiyin amaho masanga ananodoh peh’u Pathen neilou nam mite chondan analah uva chuleh Israel lengte phabep’in ahin pohlut’u chonna ho anajui jeh’u ahi.
And walked according to the facions of the Heathen, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel, and after the maners of the Kings of Israel, which they vsed,
9 Israel mipi loikhat’in, Pakai a Pathen’u deiloulam le doumah thil tamtah aguh’a anabol jeh’u ahi. Amahon Pathen neiloute, doiphungho, khovetna mun neo apatna khopi pal lenpen chung geija amahon kisem doh’uva akitundoh’u ahi.
And the children of Israel had done secretly things that were not vpright before the Lord their God, and throughout all their cities had built hie places, both from the tower of the watch, to the defensed citie,
10 Lhangvum dung jouse le thingnadum noi dung jousea doikhom hole Asherah doiphung ana kitun’un ahi.
And had made them images and groues vpon euery hie hill, and vnder euery greene tree,
11 Amahon namdangte maicham phung dung’a gimnamtui alhut nam’un, agamsung a Pakaiyin adeldohsa nam mite chonchan jouse ajom tauvin ahi. Hiti chun Israelten setna tampi anabollun, Pakai lung ahansah ji jin ahi.
And there burnt incense in all the hie places, as did the heathen, whom the Lord had taken away before them, and wrought wicked things to anger the Lord,
12 Pakaiyin kichehtah’a avel vella aseipeh chule gihsalna avel vella anapeh vangun, semthu doi ana hou jing tauvin ahi.
And serued idoles: whereof the Lord had sayd vnto them, Ye shall do no such thing,
13 Pakaiyin avellin themgao hole michingho anasollin Israelte leh Judahte chu avel vellin hilchahna anapen ahi, “Nathilse bol nauva konin hung kileheijun, kathupeh hole ka dansem ho, kathemgaote le kalhachate mangcha a napu napateo kana thupeh hohi jui unlang ngaiyun,” ati.
Notwithstanding the Lord testified to Israel, and to Iudah by all the Prophets, and by all the Seers, saying, Turne from your euill wayes, and keepe my commandements and my statutes, according to all the Lawe, which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my seruants the Prophets.
14 Ahinlah Israelten ana nahsah pouvin ahi. Apu apa teuvin, Pakai a Pathen’u tahsan ding ana noplou bang bangun along u ana tah’un ahi.
Neuerthelesse they would not obey, but hardened their neckes, like to the neckes of their fathers, that did not beleeue in the Lord their God.
15 Amahon adanthule apu apateutoh ana sem kitepna hochu apaidoh’un chuleh ana hilchahna ho jeng jong ana nasah pouvin ahi. Amahon pannabei doiho pou ana hou’un amahotah jong manlou asohgam tauve. Amahon avel uva cheng namdangte chondan alauvin Pakai thupeh jui louvin anot thap tauvin ahi.
And they refused his statutes and his couenant, that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies (wherewith he witnessed vnto them) and they followed vanitie, and became vaine, and followed the heathen that were round about them: concerning whome the Lord had charged them, that they should not do like them.
16 Amahon Pakai a Pathen’u thupeh jouse apaidoh un, thih ahal jol’un bongnou ni lim asem tho uvin, Asherah doikhum’ah atungdoh un, Baal doi chuleh vanna ahsi teho pou ana hou un ahi.
Finally they left all the commandements of the Lord their God, and made them molten images, euen two calues, and made a groue, and worshipped all the hoste of heauen, and serued Baal.
17 Amahon chiding namdangte doi houna din achapateu leh achanuteu pumgo thilto din kilhainan anei jiuvin ahi. Chunle amahon gaothem ho donga phun themho asansah jiu, Pakai mitmua thildihlou bolna kipumpeh jeng ahiuvin, hijeh a chu Pakai chu aphin lunghang’u ahi.
And they made their sonnes and their daughters passe thorowe the fire, and vsed witchcraft and inchantments, yea, solde them selues to doe euill in the sight of the Lord, to anger him.
18 Pakai chu Israelte chung’a alunghan val jeh’in, Aman ama hochu amitmua konin ana tolmang gamtan ahi. Judah changseh bou gamsunga ana chensah in ahi.
Therefore the Lord was exceeding wroth with Israel, and put them out of his sight, and none was left but the tribe of Iudah onely.
19 Ahivangin Judahte jengin jong Pakai thupeh ananit nompouvin, Israelten anaphudoh’u chondan phalou ngen chu anajom’un ahi.
Yet Iudah kept not the commandements of the Lord their God, but walked according to the facion of Israel, which they vsed.
20 Pakaiyin Israel chilhahte chengse chu abonchan ana paidoh’in. Hiti chun ama mitmua kona apaidoh kahsen agal mite khut’ah anapehdoh in asugenthei in ahi.
Therefore the Lord cast off all the seede of Israel, and afflicted them, and deliuered them into the handes of spoylers, vntill he had cast them out of his sight.
21 Pakaiyin Israelte chu David leng gam'a kona alhekeh jouvin, amahon alengpau dingin Nebat chapa Jeroboam chu ana kilhen tauvin ahi. Ahinlah Jeroboam in Israelte chu Pakai ajen ule ajui nauva konin anapuidoh in, chonsetna nasatah anatohdoh sahtan ahi.
For he cut off Israel from the house of Dauid, and they made Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat King: and Ieroboam drewe Israel away from following the Lord, and made them sinne a great sinne.
22 Hiti chun Israelten Jeroboam nung ajuiyun, thilse lampia chun akimangcha un, achonset nauva konin ahung kiheidoh tapouvin ahi.
For the children of Israel walked in all the sinnes of Ieroboam, which he did, and departed not therefrom,
23 Themgao hon ana gih na bang bangun, Pakaiyin Israelte chu amitmua akona apaidoh kahsen anga dehpouvin ahi. Hijeh chun Israelte hi agamsung uva kona paidoh’a um uva tuni geija Assyria gam'a sohchang’a umden jing ahitauve.
Vntill the Lord put Israel away out of his sight, as he had said by all his seruants the Prophets, and caryed Israel away out of their land to Asshur vnto this day.
24 Assyria lengpan Babylon gam'a kon, Cuthah khole Avva khoa kon, Hamath khoa konle Sepharvaim khoa konin, mihem tampi ahin tollin amaho chu Samaria khopi dung’a chun Israel chate khellin achensah tai. Amaho hin Samaria gamsung alouvin, akhopi dung jousea acheng tauve.
And the King of Asshur brought folke from Babel, and from Cuthah, and from Aua, and from Hamath, and from Sepharuaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria in steade of the children of Israel: so they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.
25 Ahinlah hiche gamchom mi ahung chenglut hohin ahunglut til’un, Pakai Pathen ahou lou u ahi, hijeh chun Pakaiyin alah uvah keipi bahkai ahin sollin mi phabep anathat’in ahi.
And at the beginning of their dwelling there, they feared not the Lord: therefore the Lord sent lions among them, which slewe them.
26 Hijeh chun Assyria lengpa kom’ah thu athot’un, “Nangin Samaria khopi sungho a cheng dinga nahin sollut mipiho chun hiche gamsung mite Pathen houle chondanteho ahetlou jeh un, Pathen in amaho sugam dingin keipi bahkai ahinsol lut’in ahi, ajeh chu amahon Pakai ahoudan u adihloujeh ahi.
Wherefore they spake to the King of Asshur, saying, The nations which thou hast remoued, and placed in the cities of Samaria, knowe not the maner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and behold, they slay them, because they knowe not the maner of the God of the land.
27 Assyria lengpa chun hitihin thu apen, “Soh’a kikaimang ho lah thempu khat chu Samaria khopia le-solpeh’un. Amachu ahung chenglut thahho lah’a chengin tin, agamsung mite Pathen houjidan le chondan teho gahil hen,” ati.
Then the King of Asshur commanded, saying, Carie thither one of the Priestes whome ye brought thence, and let him goe and dwell there, and teache them the maner of the God of the countrey.
28 Hiti chun Samaria kona hung sohchang thempu khatchu Bethel ah alesollut’un, aman achenglut thah-ho chu Pakai houdan chu ahil pantan ahi.
So one of the Priestes, which they had caryed from Samaria, came and dwelt in Beth-el, and taught them how they shoulde feare the Lord.
29 Ahinlah gamchom mi ahon honna hunglut hochun ama ama Pathen cheh chu akihoujom jingun ahi. Achennau khopi khatna konin khopi khat’ah Samaria mipiten ana tundoh’u doi phung hoa chun milim semthu hochu akikoijun ahi.
Howbeit euery nation made their gods, and put them in the houses of the hie places, which the Samaritanes had made, euery nation in their cities, wherein they dwelt.
30 Babylon’a kona hunghon, Succoth-benoth pathen chu ahouvun, Cuthah a kona hungho chun Nergal pathen chu ahouvun, chuleh Hamath na kona hunghon Ashima ahouvun ahi.
For the men of Babel made Succoth-Benoth: and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima,
31 Avvit ten jong Nibhaz le Tartak pathen ahouvun, chuleh Sepharvaim akona hunghon achateu chu apathen’u Adrammelech leh Anammelech hou’nan pumgo thilto in akatdoh jiuvin ahi.
And the Auims made Nibhaz, and Tartak: and the Sepharuims burnt their children in the fire to Adrammelech, and Anammelech the gods of Sepharuaim.
32 Hitobanga ahung chenglut thah hohin Pakai jeng ven ahou jing nauve, alah uva konin thempu akilhengdoh un, chiding namdangte doiphunga doi hounan hiche thempu ho chu mido a dingin apansah jiuvin ahi.
Thus they feared the Lord, and appoynted out Priestes out of them selues for the hie places, who prepared for them sacrifices in the houses of the hie places.
33 Chule amahon Pakai chu ahoujeng vang’un, ahung kondoh nau gamsunga kihou pathente jong adan dungjuiyin ama ama indoi cheh jong akihou thouvun, chondan hochu achepi jing nalaijun ahi.
They feared the Lord, but serued their gods after the maner of the nations whome they caryed thence.
34 Hiche achondan lui hochu tunikho geijin achepiuvin ahi. Amahon Pakai chu ahoutah tah pouvin, amavang tumasang a achonnau chu ajui-nalaijun ahi. Amahon Pakaiyin Israel tia amin anakhelpeh Jacob chihlhahte anapeh thupeh hole ajuidiuva dan ana sempeh hochu khatcha jong ajui pouvin ahi.
Vnto this day they doe after the olde maner: they neyther feare God, neyther doe after their ordinances, nor after their customes, nor after the Lawe, nor after the commandement, which the Lord commanded the children of Iaakob, whom he named Israel,
35 Ajeh chu Pakaiyin Jacob chilhahte hochu kitepna ana semin, ajui diuvin thupeh hitin anapei, “Pathen dang hou hih’un ahilouleh a ang’a jong nakun theilou diu, jen-jong najen theilou diu, akom’uva jong kilhaina nabol theilou heldiu ahi,” ati.
And with whom the Lord had made a couenant, and charged them, saying, Feare none other gods, nor bowe your selues to them, nor serue them, nor sacrifice to them:
36 Ahinlah, “Abantha hanta thanei tah’a Egypt akona nahin puidoh pa Pakai amabou chu nahoudiu, Ama angsung’a bou nakun diu chule kilhina jong ama koma bou nasem diu ahi.
But feare the Lord which brought you out of the land of Egypt with great power, and a stretched out arme: him feare ye, and worshippe him, and sacrifice to him.
37 Nangho dia kipe danho le chonchan dingho chule thupeh hochu phat tinle phatecha a nanit jing thei nading un phatseh in chingtheiyun lang semthu pathen kitiho nahou louhel dingu ahi.
Also keepe ye diligently the statutes and the ordinances, and the Lawe, and the commandement, which he wrote for you, that ye do them continually, and feare not other gods.
38 Keiman nangho toh kasem kitepna chu sumil hihbeh un chujongleh pathen dang kiti poupou nahou theilou helding’u ahi.
And forget not the couenant that I haue made with you, neither feare ye other gods,
39 Nanghon Pakai na Pathen bou nahoudiu ajeh chu Ama chun nagalmi houva kona nahin huhdoh diu ahi,” ati.
But feare the Lord your God, and he will deliuer you out of the handes of all your enemies.
40 Ahinlah mipite chun hiche thu kisei hochu ana nahsah pouvin, achonnau masa dungjui chun achomjom jingun ahi.
Howbeit they obeyed not, but did after their olde custome.
41 Hitihin hiche ahung chenglut thah hochun Pakai chu ahou vangun amaho milim doiho jong chu alhadeh pouvin ahi. Tuni changei hin achilhah teuvin jong achepi jingun ahi.
So these nations feared the Lord, and serued their images also: so did their children, and their childrens children: as did their fathers, so do they vnto this day.
