1 Hitichun Solomon chun Pakai houin chu Jerusalemma Moriah mola chun asapan tai, hiche laimun hi apa David henga ana kilahna mun chu ahi, Houin kisahna chu Jebus Mipa Araunah kitipa changphol David in ana deilhen munchu ahi.
Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where [the Lord] appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 Houin kisahpan chu Solomon lengchan kal kum li lhinna chan ni anahin ahi.
And he began to build in the second [day] of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Pathen Houin kibulphuna dinga Solomon in agonchu adung tong somgup avai tong somni a len ahi.
Now these [are the things wherein] Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure [was] threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 Houin mai’a avaitannaa kisa Hongcha chu adung tong somni chule asandan tong somni ahi. Lut na indan a chu Houin vai lhung kei chan tong somni chule tong somni ma sang ahi, Aman asunglang chu sana thengsellin aloi jin ahi.
And the porch that [was] in the front [of the house], the length [of it was] according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height [was] an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 Houin kimlai dan-lenpen chu chahthingin achunga sana thengsellin athopsah in chule tum-thing le khao kipheh limmin ajemhoi sellin ahi.
And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
6 Houin Bangchu songmantam hoitah chule Parvaim gam'a hungkon Sana in ajem hoisellin ahi.
And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold [was] gold of Parvaim.
7 Hitihin Houin inkam jouse, akotjol hole ajol ho, abang hole akot ho jouse chu Sana in atomin, chule bang dunga chun Cherubim lim ageidoh soh keijin ahi.
He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
8 Chule muntheng chungnung pen tong somni in Houin vaitoh kikotnin asemin, chule athuhlam tong somni ma alhinge. Asunglam chu Sana thengsel agih tena sang somnile ja get le somgup le khat lut in alhajollin, atomlhah sah in ahi.
And he made the most holy house, the length whereof [was] according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, [amounting] to six hundred talents.
9 Sana hongcha sahna kimang sana thingkil jong chu, Shekel somnga cheh agih in ahi. Achunglam dan ho jong chu Sanan atomjol sah soh keijin ahi.
And the weight of the nails [was] fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
10 Aman Cherubim lim tobang ni asemin, hiche teni chu Sanan atomin; muntheng chungnunga chun akoiyin ahi.
And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
11 Apangtoa kikai Cherubim teni lha mong asemsa chu tong ngaa asaovin, hiche lhaving chun nilah’a amasapa tong nga asaovin; hiche lhaving chun Houin bang aphai. Cherubim nina pajong chu tong nga ma, asaovin lhaving langkhat chu aphan ahi.
And the wings of the cherubims [were] twenty cubits long: one wing [of the one cherub was] five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing [was likewise] five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 Chutobang machun Cherubim lim nina pa jong chun tong ngaa sao lhaving aneiyin, hiche chun Houin bang lang khat chu aphai; Alhaving nina pa jong chu tong nga asaovin Cherubim lim masa pa lhaving chu aphan ahi.
And [one] wing of the other cherub [was] five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing [was] five cubits [also], joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13 Hitichun alangtoa Cherubim teni lhamong chu tong somni ahi. Amani Chu akeng lhon’in ading gel lhon in, Houin inkim lamchu anga lhon in ahi.
The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces [were] inward.
14 Muntheng chungnung lutna laitah achun tupat ponnemma kisem adum asandup le asan-ao patna, kijem chule cherubim a lim kikhuibeh pondal khat aki dallin ahi.
And he made the vail [of] blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.
15 Houin mailanga ding chun Solomon in Khompi ni tong somle get a sang aphutnin, anigellin khom alu kisemhoi tong nga in akijop saotou in ahi.
Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that [was] on the top of each of them [was] five cubits.
16 Solomon in khivui tobang'in Sumkol asemin, khompi teni alehvum chu jephoina in amangin ahi. Chujongleh kolbuthei lim jakhat asem in sumkol ho achun ajemhoi din abeh in ahi, chule Houin mai’a lutna lama khompi teni chu khat lhang lamma, chule khatpa joh chu asah lamma aphut in ahi. Lhanglamma kiphut khompi chu Jakin asah in Sahlama pachu Boaz asahtai.
And he made chains, [as] in the oracle, and put [them] on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put [them] on the chains.
And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
