< 2 Thusimbu 29 >
1 Hezekiah hi kum 25 alhinkum chun leng ahung changin kum 29 suingin Jerusalem mah vai anahomme, anu hi Zachariah chanu Abijah anahi
Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
2 Amahin apa David nin ana bolbang bangin Pathen deilam ngen anabollin ahi
He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, according to all that David his father had done.
3 Avaihom kum amasapen leh lha masapennin aman Pakai inchu akot ho jouse ahongin abonin asemphan ahi
In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the LORD’s house and repaired them.
4 Abannin aman thempu holeh Levi ho jouse chu Houin solang hongcha – a chun akhommin
He brought in the priests and the Levites and gathered them together into the wide place on the east,
5 Amaho komma chun hitin aseije: “kasei hi ngaijun Levi te tun nangho le nangho kisuthengun chujouleh napu napateo Pakai Pathen houin suthengun, chujouleh, thil thenglou jouse chu houinna kon in paidoh un.
and said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry the filthiness out of the holy place.
6 Ajeh chu Ipu ipateovin Pakai Pathen mitmun thilse jeng anabollun achonkhel taovin ahi, Pathen anungsunnun Pathen chenna a kon in amai aheimang taovin ahi
For our fathers were unfaithful, and have done that which was evil in the LORD our God’s sight, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
7 Amahon Houin kot akhah un thaomeiho amutlih un chuleh Israel Pathen houin nah pumgo thilto abol tapouvin gimnamtwi jong ahal tapouvin ahi
Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burnt incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.
8 Hitia hi anachon tahjehun Pakai hi Judah nam leh Jerusalem chungah analung hangin achunguva ichangeiya na anatoh hitam, hichehin mijouse ana lungdon sah in akichat sahtaan ahi. Hiche hi nanghon nahe soh keijuve
Therefore the LORD’s wrath was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth, to be an astonishment and a hissing, as you see with your eyes.
9 Ipateo galla anathat nun ijiteo leh ichateo gal hingin ana kaimangun ahi
For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
10 Tuhin keiman Israel Pathen ipakaiyu komma hin kitep nakhat kasem nomme chutileh ama eiho chungah lunghang taponte
Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
11 “Kachate ho heche hi nahsah mon koihih un, ajeh chu Pakaiyin nanghohi a anga ding jinga ama lungdeilam bolding leh akin tong dinga chuleh gimnamtwi hal namdinga nalhen u ahi” ati
My sons, don’t be negligent now; for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers and burn incense.”
12 Hichun Levi te ahung kipatdoh taove: Amasai chapa Mahath chuleh Azariah chapa Joel, Kohathites chateho Merari chateho, Abdi chapa Kish chuleh Jehallelel chapa Azariah, Gershon chateho Zimmah chapa Joash chuleh Joash chapa Eden
Then the Levites arose: Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites; and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah;
13 Elizaphan chate chu Shimri leh Jeiel ahin, Asaph chate chu Zechariah leh Mattaniah ahin,
and of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel; and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;
14 Heman chate chu Jehiel leh Shimei ahin, Jeduthun chate chu Shemaiah leh Uzziel ahi
and of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
15 Hitichun amaho insung chu akikhomun amahole amaho akisuthengun lengpa thupeh leh Pakai dei dung juiyin achonnun Pakai houin chu asuthengun ahi
They gathered their brothers, sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by the LORD’s words, to cleanse the LORD’s house.
16 Hichun thempu hochu Pakai Houin sunglanga chun alut un asuthengun chuleh Pakai houin Pakai hongcha changei jin ahin pou – vin chuleh Levi ten apodoh un Kidron phaichammah aga pailhaovin ahi
The priests went into the inner part of the LORD’s house to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the LORD’s temple into the court of the LORD’s house. The Levites took it from there to carry it out to the brook Kidron.
17 Natoh chu lhamasa – a nikho maspenni chu anapatnu ahi niget channin ana tongchai sohkeijun ahi, hichea hin houinna lutna dansung jong achai taovin hichejou chun niget abol beovin hiche lha sung ni 16 changeijin abollun houin chu houkhom na thei aso taovin ahi
Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the LORD’s porch. They sanctified the LORD’s house in eight days, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.
18 Levi techun lengpa Hezekiah kommah hitin thu alhut nun ahi: “Keihon hou dan dungjuija thenna kinchu houin pumpi ahin pumgo thilto na maicham phung geijin chuleh changlhah kisemna table leh aman chahho pummin kahin sutheng taove”atiovin ahi
Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within the palace and said, “We have cleansed all the LORD’s house, including the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, and the table of show bread with all its vessels.
19 Hiche chung chonchun Ahaz lengpa Pathen doumah abolsunga anapaidoh thilkeo hojong chu kahin chomkhommun kasuthengun Pakai maicham masangah kakoi taove”
Moreover, we have prepared and sanctified all the vessels which King Ahaz threw away in his reign when he was unfaithful. Behold, they are before the LORD’s altar.”
20 Jingpi tah in lengpa Hezekiah in khopi sunga lamkaiho jouse akoukhom min houin langa ache taove
Then Hezekiah the king arose early, gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the LORD’s house.
21 Lengte insung leh Judah mipite chonset na suhtheng nadingleh houin suhtheng na dingin amahon bongchal 7, kelngoi 7 chuleh kelchal 7 hicheng hi Aaron chilhah te thempuhon maichamma pumgo thilto a akatdoh diuvin aseipeh in ahi
They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, and for Judah. He commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the LORD’s altar.
22 Thempuhon bongchal chu athat masaovin abannin kelngoi chal ho abannin kelngoi ho athat nun akikatdoh gancha thisan hochu maicham chunga atheovin ahi
So they killed the bulls, and the priests received the blood and sprinkled it on the altar. They killed the rams and sprinkled the blood on the altar. They also killed the lambs and sprinkled the blood on the altar.
23 Achaina in kelchal chu lengpa kom leh taona mangho komma chun akailutnun amahon gancha ho chunga chun akhut angam mun ahi
They brought near the male goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly; and they laid their hands on them.
24 Hijou chun thempuhon kelchal hochu athatnun athisan chun mipite chonsetna apohmang na dinga kikatdoh hidingin maicham chunga chun atheovin ahi
Then the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel; for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
25 Nathan themgao leh lengpa themgao Gad nin Pathenna konna leng David thu ana pohchu Hezekiah lengpa hin phatah in ana juiyin ahi. Aman Levi techu selangdah leh tumging anakichoi sah in houinnah pan analah sah in ahi
He set the Levites in the LORD’s house with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was from the LORD by his prophets.
26 Hiche atumgingu manchah chu leng David nin ana choi tobang bang chu ahi, thempu hojong sumkon kichoi pummin adingun ahi
The Levites stood with David’s instruments, and the priests with the trumpets.
27 Hezekiah in pumgo thilto chu patdinga thu ahinpeh phatnin thilpeh chu ahung kipan tan chuleh mipichun Pakai thangvah na la asaovin, tumging saithem hochun sumkon mut toh agingthei jouse ahin sugingun ahi
Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the LORD’s song also began, along with the trumpets and instruments of David king of Israel.
28 Mipi aum jouse chu Pathen houna – a chun apangun ahi; chuleh pumgo thilto hochu akahlhah jou kahsen tumging leh la kisa hochu achelhah jingin ahi
All the assembly worshipped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
29 Hijou teng chuleh Hezekiah lengpa leh mipi jouse chun adilsuo vin Pathen chibai abohun ahi
When they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshipped.
30 Lengpa Hezekiah leh nampi lamkaihon themgao Asaph leh David nin anasem thangvah na lachu Levi ten asahdiuvin thu anapeovin ahi, amaho adilsuo vin Pathen chibai abohun thangvah lachu kipah tah in asaovin ahi
Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.
31 Hezekiah chun mipi kommah aseijin “Tuahi nangho dan dungjuija thenga nahitaovin, hijeh chun Pakai thangvah na in pumgo thilto dinghi tohdoh taovin atin ahi. amahon sei angaijun miphabep chun acham chammin pumgo thilto dingin aganchao ahin kaijun ahi
Then Hezekiah answered, “Now you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD. Come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the LORD’s house.” The assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings, and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.
32 Amahon bongchal 70,000 (Sang som sagi) kelngoichal 100 leh kelngoi 200 Pakaija pumgo thilto a dingin ahin tohdoh un ahi
The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs. All these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
33 Amahon Bongchal 600 leh kelngoichal 3000 (Sangthum) mipi ho nehdigin akatdoh un ahi
The consecrated things were six hundred head of cattle and three thousand sheep.
34 Hiche gancha ho hi that dingin thempuho alhahsam jeh in natoh chu akichai tokah in Levi ten ana kitho piovin ahi. Hijouchun thempuho chu ana kithenso beovin ahi. Levi hochu thempuho sangin kisuhtheng nalam ma chun anagun chujo uvin ahi
But the priests were too few, so that they could not skin all the burnt offerings. Therefore their brothers the Levites helped them until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves, for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
35 Pumgo thilto hijat banna jonghin chamna thilto sathao jong ahinalai jin, chuleh donthei thilto ho pumgo thilto a manchah ding jong ahinalai jin ahi. Hiti hin Pakai houin sunga akin bol ding jouse chu akisutoh sohkeitan ahi
Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the LORD’s house was set in order.
36 Hitichun Hezekiah lengpa leh amitechu akipah lheh jengun ahi, ajeh chu Pathen kithopina jallin tohding jouse chu gangtah in achai taovin ahi
Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because of that which God had prepared for the people; for the thing was done suddenly.
