1 Hichejouhin Jerusalemma chengten lengpa chapa aneopen Ahaziah chu amakhellin leng achansah taove, ajeh chu Arab miten ahin delkhumma achate ama chunga sechu athagam mu ahitai. Hijeh a chu Juda lengpa Jehoram chapa chun vai ahom ahi.
And the inhabitants of Jerusalem cause his youngest son Ahaziah to reign in his stead (for the troop had slain all the chiefly that came in with the Arabians to the camp), and Ahaziah son of Jehoram, king of Judah, reigns.
2 Ahaziah chu leng ahung channachu kum 42 lhinga ahitai, amahin Jerusalem mah apansan kumkhat vai ana hommin ahi. Anu chu Omri tunu Athaliah ahi
Ahaziah [is] a son of twenty-two years in his reigning, and he has reigned one year in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Athaliah daughter of Omri;
3 Amajonghin Ahab chonbang bangin achonnin anu thupeh dung juiyin thilse jeng ana bollin ahi
he has also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother has been his counselor to do wickedly.
4 Apa thijouvin Ahab insung mite thumob dungjuija achon jeh'in Pathen mitmun thilse jeng abollin amanthah lotaan ahi
And he does evil in the eyes of YHWH, like the house of Ahab, for they have been his counselors, after the death of his father, for destruction to him.
5 Amaho thumob dungjuijin Israel lengpa Ahab chapa Jehoram toh Syri lengpa Hazeal toh kisatto dingin Ramoth Gilead na akon lhonin hichea chun Syria ten Jehoram chu asukhao vin ahi
Also, he has walked in their counsel, and goes with Jehoram son of Ahab, king of Israel, to battle against Hazael king of Aram in Ramoth-Gilead, and they of Ramah strike Joram;
6 Syria lengpa Hazeal toh kisatna Ramah ajot lhonchun Jehoram akisukhan amaha damdoh nadingin Jezreel khopia akinung letaan ahi. Juda lengpa chapa Azariah chu adamona vedingin achesuh in ahi
and he turns back to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds with which they had struck him in Ramah, in his fighting with Hazael king of Aram. And Azariah son of Jehoram, king of Judah, has gone down to see Jehoram son of Ahab in Jezreel, for he [is] sick;
7 Joram vedinga achesuh chu Pathenin alhuhna akalsonsah ana hikhatai ajeh chu ama agalhun phatnin Nimsi chapa Jehu toh'a kisat ton alhuh kam lotaan ahi. Ajeh chu Jehu Ahab insung mite sugam dinga Pakaiyin thao ananusa ahitaan ahi
and to come to Joram has been from God [for] the destruction of Ahaziah; and in his coming he has gone out with Jehoram to Jehu son of Nimshi, whom YHWH anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.
8 Jehu chun Pathen thupeh dungjuija Ahab insung mite sugam dinga ahung kipat laitah hin aman Judah leng chate leh Ahaziah sipiho chate chu amudoh in athat gamtan ahi
And it comes to pass, in Jehu’s executing judgment with the house of Ahab, that he finds the heads of Judah and sons of the brothers of Ahaziah, ministers of Ahaziah, and slays them.
9 Hijouchun aman Ahaziah chu ahollin ahileh amantaovin (Samaria a ana kisel ahi) Jehu kommah ahin puilutnun ahi. Amahon athatnun avuitaovin ahi, ajeh chu amahon avuiju chun amaho akihouvun amahi alung thimpum pia Pathen holla Jehoshaphat chapa ahi atiova, janna apeh u ahi. Hichejou chun Ahaziah insunga leng gam vaipo ding aum tapon ahi
And he seeks Ahaziah, and they capture him (and he is hiding himself in Samaria), and bring him to Jehu, and put him to death, and bury him, for they said, “He [is] son of Jehoshaphat, who sought YHWH with all his heart”; and there is none of the house of Ahaziah to retain power for the kingdom.
10 Ahaziah nu Athaliah hin achapa athitai tihi ahet dohphatnin ama ahung kipatnin Judah gam'a lengmun hinchuthei jousechu asumang gamtaan ahi
And Athaliah mother of Ahaziah has seen that her son is dead, and she rises and destroys the whole seed of the kingdom of the house of Judah.
11 Ahinlah Jehosheba lengpa sopinuchun Ahazial chapa Joash chu lengpa chate ana thagam holah a konchun ana seldohin lupna khatna analupsah in ana khoukhah in ahi, hitichun Jehoram lengpa chanu Jehoiada thempu pan ana kichenpi Jehosheba (Ahaziah sopinu) chun Athaliah in athagam na dinga konchun anaseldoh in ahi
And Jehoshabeath daughter of the king takes Joash son of Ahaziah, and steals him from the midst of the sons of the king who are put to death, and puts him and his nurse into the inner part of the bed-chambers, and Jehoshabeath daughter of King Jehoram, wife of Jehoiada the priest, because she has been sister of Ahaziah, hides him from the face of Athaliah, and she has not put him to death.
12 Hitichun Athaliah in gamsunga vai ahom kum 6 sung se achun Pathen houin nah ana seldoh in ahi
And he is with them in the house of God hiding himself [for] six years, and Athaliah is reigning over the land.
