1 Solomon chun Pakai min jabolna dingin Houin khat le ama chenna ding mong mong Leng Inpi khat sadoh dingin kigel lhuhna aneitan ahi.
And Solomon says to build a house for the Name of YHWH, and a house for his kingdom,
2 Hichea dingchun natong ding mi sangsom sagi thinglhang gam'a songkhoh ding mi sangsomget chule natongho vesuiding mi sangthum le Jagup alhengdoh tan ahi.
and Solomon numbers seventy thousand men bearing burden, and eighty thousand men hewing in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers over them.
3 Solomon chun Tyre Lengpa Hiram henga dingin thu hiti hin athot in “Kapa David in a chenna ding leng inpi asahna dinga, Cedar thing nana bolpeh ji bangchun keima jong neihin bolpeh in;
And Solomon sends to Huram king of Tyre, saying, “When you have dealt with my father David, then you send cedars to him to build a house for him to dwell in;
4 Keiman jong Pakai ka Pathen jabolna dinga houin kasah ding ahi. Hiche mun chu atumbeh a ama angsunga gimnamtwi halnam na’a changlhah agol gola koina’a, beitih neilou’a kitohdoh thiltona’a chule jingkah –nilhah le cholngah nikho a pumgo thilto tona ding, lhahthah nikho she’a manding; chule Pakai Kapathen’u angsunga, aphat kitep peh kut hoa manna ding mun hiding ahi.
behold, I am building a house for the Name of my God YHWH, to sanctify [it] to Him, to make incense before Him, incense of spices, and a continual arrangement, and burnt-offerings at morning and at evening, at Sabbaths, and at new moons, and at appointed times of our God YHWH; this [is] on Israel for all time.
5 Hiche Houin hi Inlen Thupitah hiding ahi, ajeh chu ka Pathen’u hi Pathen dang jouse sanga lenjo thupijo ahi.
And the house that I am building [is] great, for our God [is] greater than all gods;
6 Hijeng jongleh Koiham Pathen chenna ding inlentah akilomtah sadoh jou ding chu, Ijeh-inem itileh amachu vanho jousen jong adol lou ding ahi. Hiti ahijeh chun, Pumgo thilto ho halnam nading tilou chu; Keima koi kahija Pathen chenna ding in chu kasah jou ding ham?
and who retains strength to build a house for Him, since the heavens, even the heavens of the heavens, do not contain Him? And who [am] I that I build a house for Him, except to make incense before Him?
7 Hiti ahijeh chun sana dangka, sum-eng le thih khengthem ho ponsandup, asan-ao le pondum khongthem ho; chule song khengthem ho neihin solpeh in, amaho chun kapa David in analhen dohsa Judah le Jerusalem a natoh thilbol themho tochun atoh khom diu ahi.
And now, send a wise man to me to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and knowing to engrave engravings with the wise men who [are] with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom my father David prepared;
8 Lebanon gam'a um Cedar thing, Chah thing le Algum thing jong chu inthing dingin neihin tolpeh in, ajeh chu Lebanon’a um namite chu thingsui, thing-at lama amaho phajou ding aumpoi. Amaho kithopi dinga chu kamite kahin solpeh diu ahi.
and send to me cedar-trees, firs, and algums from Lebanon, for I have known that your servants know to cut down trees of Lebanon, and behold, my servants [are] with your servants,
9 Keiman kasah ding Houin hi inlentah le thupitah ahiding jeh hin, inthing tamtah lut ding ahi.
even to prepare trees in abundance for me, for the house that I am building [is] great and wonderful.
10 Nathingsui, nathing at miho dinga chu atoh man diu suhlou changbong atena dim sang somni; sakol chang atena dim sangsomni, lengpithei twi atena sangsomni le Olive thaotwi atena dim sang somni kapeh ding ahi.
And behold, I have given to your servants, to hewers, to those cutting the trees, twenty thousand cors of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand cors of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.”
11 Tyre Lengpa Hiram chun Solomon lekha thot donbutnan hitihin asunin alethot kit tan, “Pakaiyin amite alungsetnin, hijeh chun Aman alengpau vin napansahtai.
And Huram king of Tyre answers in writing, and sends [it] to Solomon: “In the love of YHWH for His people, He has set you [as] king over them.”
12 Vahchoiyun Pakai Israel Pathen chu, Amachun Leng David chu chapa chingtah khat thepna le thil hethemna toh apeh than; amachun Pakai Houin le Leng inpi asahdoh ding ahi.
And Huram says, “Blessed [is] YHWH, God of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth, who has given a wise son to David the king, knowing wisdom and understanding, who builds a house for YHWH, and a house for his kingdom.
13 Keiman natong themtah, Khutthemna sangtah nei Huram-abi kitipa chu kahin solpeh e.
And now, I have sent a wise man having understanding, of [my] father Huram
14 Amahi anu Israel nam mi Dan phunga kon ahin, apa hi Tyre gam mi ahi. Amahi Sana dangka sum-eng le thih a kona thil sem themtah chule thingle songa kona jong thilsem themtah ahi. Ponsandup, ponsan-ao, pondum le tupat ponnem khongthem, thiljem semthem jong ahin, itobang jem hijongle akinganse na jouse chu boldoh jengthei ahi. Hitia chu amahin napa kapu David in analhendoh natong themsa ho tochun atoh khom diu ahi.
(son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father a man of Tyre), knowing to work in gold, and in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stones, and in wood, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson, and to engrave any engraving, and to devise any invention that is given to him, with your wise men, and the wise men of my lord, your father David.
15 Hiti ahijeh chun tun Kapun naseisaho suhlou changbong, sakol chang, lengpithei twi le olive thao twi chu neihin thot jengtan,” ati.
And now, the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, as my lord said, let him send to his servants,
16 Keihon itobang thing hijongle nadei dei uchu Lebanon lhanga hin sui uvin ting, Mediterranean dillen panga konin pum chungah Joppa chan hintol pehtaovinge. Hiche lai munna kon chun nanghon thing hochu Jerusalem chan nakitol lut thei u ahitai.
and we cut trees out of Lebanon, according to all your need, and bring them to you—floats by sea, to Joppa, and you take them up to Jerusalem.”
17 Solomon chun apan anabol bangin Israel gamsunga cheng gampam miho simna aneiyin ahile agomin mi sangjakhat le sang somnga le thum aphan ahi.
And Solomon numbers all the men, the sojourners who [are] in the land of Israel, after the numbering with which his father David numbered them, and they are found [to be] one hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred;
18 Amaho lah’a chun mi sang somsagi chu thilpole ding, sang somget chu thinglhang gam'a songkhoh ding chule sang somthum le gup chu natoh vesui dingin nganse na aneitan ahi.
and he makes from them seventy thousand burden-bearers, and eighty thousand hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers, to cause the people to work.
