And he was a man (from Benjamin *Q(K)*) and name his [was] Kish [the] son of Abiel [the] son of Zeror [the] son of Becorath [the] son of Aphiah a son of a man a Jaminite a mighty [man] of wealth.
2 Kish hin chapa khat aniyin, amin Saul ahi, amachu gollhang phatah le melhoitah ahin, chule alengkouva lhah chunglamsen midang akhokhel sohkeiyin in, Israel chate lah’a jong chun ama tobang koima ana umpoi.
And to him he belonged a son and name his [was] Saul a young man and good and not a man from [the] people of Israel [was] good more than him from shoulder his and up-wards [he was] tall more than all the people.
3 Nikhat hi Kish sangan ho chu ana vahdoh in ahile, Kish in achapa Saul jah’a, “Nasoh ho khat kipuijin lang sanganho hollin kipat doh tan,” ati.
And they were lost the she-asses of Kish [the] father of Saul and he said Kish to Saul son his take please with you one from the young men and arise go seek the she-asses.
4 Hijeh chun Saul in asohho khat akipuiyin, Ephraim gamsunga Shalishah gamkol sungle akimvel sung chule Benjamin molsang dung jouse achon lhonin ahinlah amujoulhon pon ahi.
And he passed in [the] hill country of Ephraim and he passed in [the] land of Shalisha and not they found [them] and they passed in [the] land of Shaalim and there not and he passed in [the] land of [the] Jaminite[s] and not they found [them].
5 Achainan amani Zuph gam ahunglhun lhon phat in Saul in sohpa jah ah, “Hung in, in lam’ah kile tahite, achuti louva ahile eini le sanganho jeh in, kapa ana lungkhamval get inte,” ati.
They they came in [the] land of Zuph and Saul he said to servant his who [was] with him come! so let us turn back lest he should cease father my from the she-asses and he will be anxious to us.
6 Ahinlah sohpan, “Ipi ham khat kalung’ah ahung kilange! Hichea hin Pathen mikhat aumin, hiche khopia hi cheng ahin, ama chu miho jousen jana sangtah apeh ahi, aman asei sei chu dih jeng ahi. Che hitin ama chu gaholdoh hite, ijehnem-itile iche nading lampi eiseipeh theilhon ahi,” ati.
And he said to him here! please a man of God [is] in the city this and the man [is] honored all that he speaks actually it comes now let us go there perhaps he will tell to us journey our which we have walked on it.
7 Hichun Saul in adonbut “Ama peh ding la imacha i-neilhon pon, i-neh lhon ding an jouse la akichai gamtan, ama peh dingima ineilhon poi,” ati.
And he said Saul to servant his and here! we will go and what? will we bring to the man for the bread it has been used up from bags our and [is] a gift there not to bring to [the] man of God what? [is] with us.
8 Ahinla asohpan, “Aphai, keiman kakhut ah dangka neokhat kaneiye, Pathen mipa chu hichehi pe hitin chule ipi soh’em vehite,” ahinti.
And he repeated the servant to answer Saul and he said here! [is] found in hand my a fourth part of a shekel of silver and I will give [it] to [the] man of God and he will tell to us journey our.

And he said Saul to servant his [is] good word your come! - let us go and they went to the city where [was] there [the] man of God.
11 Chuin lhang lang akaldoh lhon’a ahile, numei phabep twi-thal ding’a ahung amulhon in, amaho koma chun, “Tunin mitva neipa chu aumdem?” tin adonglhon in ahi.
They [were] going up on [the] ascent of the city and they they found young women coming out to draw water and they said to them ¿ [is] there in this [place] the seer.
12 Hichun amahon ahin donbut lhon in “Henge, hiche lampi jetlam’a chelhon lechun, amachu khopi kelkot phung koma chu umding ahi. Mipi gan kilhaina’a ache ahung lhun pettah ahi” atiuvin ahi.
And they answered them and they said there is there! before you hurry - now for this day he has come to the city for a sacrifice this day [belongs] to the people at the high place.
13 An nedinga akaltou masangin, gangtah in che lhon in lang gakimupi vahlhon in, ajeh chu ahunglhun le gan kilhaina sa ho chu phatthei aboh tokah kahsea mipin an aneh theilou diu ahi,” atiuve.
When come you the city thus you will find! him before he will go up the high place towards to eat for not it will eat the people until comes he for he he will bless the sacrifice after thus they will eat those [who] were invited and now go up for him as the day you will find! him.
14 Chuin amani chu khopi sunga ahunglut lhon chun khopi kelkot agah jotpa lhon le Samuel chu Pathen houna mun’a dia ahung potdoh toh akitoh chet un ahi.
And they went up the city they [were] coming in [the] midst of the city and there! Samuel [was] coming out to meet them to go up the high place.
15 Pakaiyin Samuel koma nikho masanga chu ana seipeh sa ahitan,
And Yahweh he had uncovered [the] ear of Samuel a day one before came Saul saying.
16 “Jing nikho tuphat don leh Benjamin phung’a kipat’a pasal khat ka hinsol ding ahi. Aman kamite lah’a lamkai dinga thao na nu ding ahi. Aman Philistine mite khut akona Israelte ahuhdoh dingu, kamite kahin vetsuh’a khotona puma, chule akanao kangailhah ding ahi,” ati.
About this time - tomorrow I will send to you a man from [the] land of Benjamin and you will anoint him to ruler over people my Israel and he will deliver people my from [the] hand of [the] Philistines for I have seen people my for it has come cry of distress its to me.
17 Samuel in Saul amu phat’in, Pakaiyin ajah’a, “Hiche mipa hi ahi kanasei chu, amahin kamite alamkai ding ahi,” ati.
And Samuel he saw Saul and Yahweh he answered him here! the man whom I spoke to you this [one] he will rule over people my.
18 Saul in Samuel kelkot phung lam’a ahin naipheiyin, “Mitvaneipa in chu hoilai ham? Neiseipeh thei ding ham?” tin anadong in ahi.
And he approached Saul Samuel in [the] middle of the gate and he said tell! please to me where? this [is] [the] house of the seer.
19 Chuin Samuel in adongbut in, “Keima hi mitvaneipa chu kahi, chule Pathen houna muna ana kaltouvin, hia chun nei kimupin, hiche muna chu An ineh khom lhon ding chujongle jingkah leh nahetnom ho chu naseipeh nange, chule nalampia nasol nange.
And he answered Samuel Saul and he said I [am] the seer go up before me the high place and you will eat with me this day and I will send away you in the morning and all that [is] in heart your I will tell to you.
20 Chule nithum masang’a sanganho avah mang hojeh chun lung kham hih in, hiho chu akimusa ahitai, nagelkhoh le nahetdia kaseipeh nom chu ahile nang le na insung mite hi Israel pumpin angeh’uva avet jing u chu nahi,” ati.
And to the she-asses which were lost of you this day [the] three the days may not you set heart your to them for they have been found and [belongs] to whom? every desirable thing of Israel ¿ not to you and to all [the] house of father your.
21 Hichun Saul’in, “Keihi Israel phung lah’a jong alhumpen, Benjamin phungmi kahin, ka-insung jong kaphung sunguva jong imacha loupen kahiuve, achutileh kei pen koma hitia hi ipi nasei nom ham?” ati.
And he answered Saul and he said ¿ not a Ben-jaminite [am] I from [the] small of [the] tribes of Israel and [is] clan? my the insignificant of all [the] clans of [the] tribes of Benjamin and why? have you spoken to me according to the manner this.
22 Chuin Samuel in Saul le asohpa chu kikhopna indan lentah sung khat’a ahin puilut’in, dokhong lubuhl lam, akikou lamkai somthum ho lah’a mun loupi pena atousah tan ahi.
And he took Samuel Saul and servant his and he brought them [the] room towards and he gave to them a place at [the] head of those [who] were invited and they [were] about thirty man.
23 Chuin Samuel in an-honpa jah’a, “Nahenga atumbeh in koiyin tia kapeh sachan chu hin choitan,” ati.
And he said Samuel to the cook give! the portion which I gave to you which I said to you put it with you.
24 Chuin an-honpan sachan chu ahin choidoh’in, Saul angsung’ah aluipeh tan, hichun Samuel in Saul jah’ah, “Na-ang sung’a kiluiyah hiche sachan hi nang dia kiluiyah ahi, nen, akikou chengse to tua naneh khomdia kakhendoh ahi,” ati. Chuti chun hiche nikho chun Saul in Samuel toh anekhom in ahi.
And he lifted up the cook the thigh and the on it and he put [it] - before Saul and he said here! the [part which] remains set [it] before you eat [it] for to the appointed time [it was] kept for you saying the people - I have invited and he ate Saul with Samuel on the day that.
25 Chuin Pathen ahounao munsang akona khopi sung ahung kumlhah phat’un, Samuel in Saul indan chung’ah alupna ding asempeh in ahi.
And they went down from the high place the city and he spoke with Saul on the roof.
26 Ajing jingkah matah in athouvun, chuin Samuel’in Saul indan chung’ah akou touvin, asoldoh thei nadingin, “Thouvin,” ati.
And they rose early and it was when came up the dawn and he called Samuel to Saul (the roof towards *Q(K)*) saying arise! so I may send away you and he arose Saul and they went out [the] two of them he and Samuel the outside towards.
27 Chuin anigel lhonin in akon’in apotdoh khom lhonin khopi pam agei lhon in Samuel in Saul jah’ah, “Nasohpa ana masajep dingin seijin, Pathen a kona thu hung kisei kahetsah thei nading in,” ati.
They [were] going down at [the] edge of the city and Samuel he said to Saul say to the servant so he may pass on before us and he passed on and you remain as the day so I may make hear you [the] word of God.
