1 Tun Solomon in Pakai Houin leh ama Leng inpi asa chaitan ahi. Aman toh dinga agon toh dungjuijin ijakai atongchai soh hel tan ahi.
And it comes to pass, at Solomon’s finishing to build the house of YHWH, and the house of the king, and all the desire of Solomon that he delighted to do,
2 Hichun Pakai chu tu masang’a Gibeon na ana kilah bang bang in, tun ani vei channa in Solomon kom ah ahung kilah kit tan ahi.
that YHWH appears to Solomon a second time, as He appeared to him in Gibeon,
3 Pakaiyin, “Keiman natao nale na ngaichat na hinlhut hochu kahe tai. Keiman hiche houin hi ka thenso tai. Hichehi ai-tih channa keima min kija jing na dinga nasahdoh ahitai. Hiche hi ka lungthim gil’a ka ngainat khat ahijeh'in keiman hiche hi vesui jing nang’e.
and YHWH says to him, “I have heard your prayer and your supplication with which you have made supplication before Me; I have hallowed this house that you have built to put My Name there for all time, and My eyes and My heart have been there [for] all the days.
4 Chuleh nang in napa David banga kitah tahleh lungtheng tah’a neijuiya, kathupeh leh ka Dan ho nanit jing’a kachondan najui jing’a ahileh,
And you—if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in simplicity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, [and] you keep My statutes and My judgments,
5 Hitengle chun Israel lenggam hi tonsotna katundoh jing ding ahi. Ajeh chu napa David kom’a kana kitepna banga Israel laltouna’a hi nachilhah khat katousah jing ding ahi.
then I have established the throne of your kingdom over Israel for all time, as I spoke to your father David, saying, A man of yours is never cut off from [being] on the throne of Israel.
6 Ahinla nangma ahilouleh na chilhah ten nangma kaseipeh, ka Dan sem holeh kathupeh hohi napaidoh’a, na juida-a pathen dang nahou uva na jon uleh,
If you at all turn back—you and your sons—from after Me, and do not keep My commands [and] My statutes that I have set before you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them,
7 Keiman hiche gam kapeh nauva Israel hi kakaidoh ding kamin loupina ding’a hiche Houin ka thensosa jong hi kapaidoh ding chule Israel jong hi nam dangte nuisat leh tot thanghoiya naum ding’u ahi.
then I have cut off Israel from the face of the ground that I have given to them, and the house that I have hallowed for My Name I send away from My presence, and Israel has been for an allegory and for a byword among all the peoples;
8 Chujongle tuhin hiche houin hi thupi lheh jeng jong leh hiteng chule ahinho pa jousen alu u apei uva adatmo diu ahi. Amaho ki dong to uvintin, “Itidan na Pakaiyin hiche gamle hiche houin hi manlou aso hi tam?” ati diu ahi.
as for this house [that] is high, everyone passing by it is astonished, and has hissed, and they have said, Why has YHWH done this to this land and to this house?
9 Chule amaho chu hitia hi kidonbut todiu ahi, “Ajeh chu hiche mite hin Egypt’a kon’a apu apa teu hin puidoh’a, Pakai a Pathen’u chu adondauva Pathen dang ahou uva, achibai jeh’u ahi, hijeh’a chu Pakaiyin a chung uva hitobang hamset nahi alhunsah ahitai,” ati diu ahi.
And they have said, Because that they have forsaken their God YHWH, who brought out their fathers from the land of Egypt, and they lay hold on other gods, and bow themselves to them and serve them; therefore YHWH has brought all this calamity on them.”
10 Solomon in Pakai Houin asah nale ama leng inpi sahna a kum somni a sulut nung phat kichai lam in,
And it comes to pass, at the end of twenty years, that Solomon has built the two houses, the house of YHWH, and the house of the king.
11 Aman Tyre Lengpa Hiram chu Galilee gam’a khopi somni chu ana pen ahi. (Hiram hin, Solomon in anathum dungjuiya, Cedar le Cypress thing chuleh sana ana peh ahi)
Hiram king of Tyre has assisted Solomon with cedar-trees, and with fir-trees, and with gold, according to all his desire; then King Solomon gives to Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.
12 Ahin Tyre a konin Hiram hi ahung in Solomon in apeh khopi ho chu ahung ven ahileh akipah behseh pon ahi.
And Hiram comes out from Tyre to see the cities that Solomon has given to him, and they have not been right in his eyes,
13 Hijeh chun Hiram in Solomon jah’a, “Sopi, hiche khopiho pikhu ipi ding ham?” atin ahi. Hijeh chun Hiram min hiche gamchu Cabul tin amin asah’e, hichun, “pannabei” tina ahi. Tunigei hin hiti chun amin akivo den in ahi.
and he says, “What [are] these cities that you have given to me, my brother?” And one calls them the land of Cabul to this day.
14 Ahiyeng vang'in Hiram in Solomon chu sana talent jakhat le somni ana pen ahi.
And Hiram sends one hundred and twenty talents of gold to the king.
15 Solomon lengpan soh na tong mi anagoiya anasahdoh ho chu; Pakai Houin, Leng inpi le avel ho, Jerusalem pal kikaikhum, Hazor, Megiddo leh Gezer khopi ho chu ahi.
And this [is] the matter of the tribute that King Solomon has lifted up, to build the house of YHWH, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer
16 Egypt lengpa Pharaoh in Gezer chu gal anokhum’a analah a, Canaan mite anatha gam’a meiya ahal lhah jou uva hiche khopi chu Solomon toh kicheng achanu akanpeh ahi.
(Pharaoh king of Egypt has gone up and captures Gezer, and burns it with fire, and he has slain the Canaanite who is dwelling in the city, and gives it [as] presents to his daughter, wife of Solomon).
17 Solomon in hiche Gezer khopi chu asapha kit’in, aman Beth-horon noi lang khopi ho jong chu asapha kit in ahi.
And Solomon builds Gezer, and the lower Beth-Horon,
18 Hiche gamsung’a gam mang lah’a um Baalath le Tamar jong chu ahi.
and Ba‘alath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land,
19 Aman thilkholna ding leh sakol ho leh sakol kangtalai ho koina dingin jong khopi ho ana sadoh in ahi. Aman Jerusalem le Lebanon nah chu leh agam sung pumpi’a asah doh nom jouse ana sah doh sohkei ahi.
and all the cities of stores that King Solomon has, and the cities of the chariots, and the cities of the horsemen, and the desire of Solomon that he desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.
20 Agam sung’a chun Israel mi hilou phabep jong ana cheng un ahi. Ama ho chu Amon mite, Hit mite, Perizz mite, Hiv mite leh Jebus mite ahiuve.
The whole of the people that is left of the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, who [are] not of the sons of Israel—
21 Ama hohi Israel miten anatha moh nam mite sonle chilhah ho ahiuve. Hijeh chun Solomon nin Ama ho chu soh natong in ana pansah in hiti hin ama hon tuni geijin soh na natong in ana pang jing un ahi.
their sons who are left behind them in the land, whom the sons of Israel have not been able to devote—he has even lifted up a tribute of service [on] them to this day.
22 Solomon in Israelte vang namna a natong lah’a ana pansah pon ahi. Hiti hin Israel mite chu galsat sepai leh gal lamkai jat chom chom in ana pansah in sakol kangtalai tol in jong ana pansah in ahi.
And Solomon has not appointed a servant out of the sons of Israel, for they [are] the men of war, and his servants, and his heads, and his captains, and the heads of his chariots, and his horsemen.
23 Solomon in gam sung’a kivaihomna a natoh jat chom choma a lamkai ding leh avesui dingin mi ja-nga le somnga ana pansah in ahi.
These [are] the five hundred and fifty heads of the officers who [are] over the work of Solomon, those ruling among the people who are laboring in the work.
24 Solomon in Pharaoh chanu a kichenpi ajinu chu David khopi’a konin Leng inpi thah ama ding’a ana sahpeh na mun a chun achonlut in ahi. Hiche achun Solomon nin hiche inpi to kimat in dang jong asan ahi.
Only, the daughter of Pharaoh went up out of the City of David to her house that [Solomon] built for her; then he built Millo.
25 Solomon in Pakaija maicham semna dinga ana sah mun ahin pumgo thilto le chamna thilto kumkhat sung in thumvei ana bol jin ahi. Aman Pakai ah gim namtui jong ana hal nam jin ahi. Hiti hin Houin Sahdohna a natohna jouse chu ana chaisoh kei jin ahi.
And Solomon caused burnt-offerings and peace-offerings to ascend three times in a year on the altar that he built for YHWH, and he burned it as incense with that which [is] before YHWH, and finished the house.
26 Solomon Lengpan Twikhanglen pang, Edom gam ah Elath kong kai mun kom ah kong-in-nei hon khat ana sem’e.
And King Solomon has made a navy in Ezion-Geber, that is beside Eloth, on the edge of the Sea of Suph, in the land of Edom.
27 Hiram in kongtol themho Solomon mite toh kongtol khom dingin ahinsol peh in ahi.
And Hiram sends his servants in the navy, shipmen knowing the sea, with servants of Solomon,
28 Ama hon Ophir munna atol un chule Solomon dingin sana talent jail le somni ahinpoh peh un ahi.
and they come to Ophir, and take four hundred and twenty talents of gold from there, and bring [it] to King Solomon.
