< 1 Corinth 4 >

1 Hijeh chun Apollos le keima hi, Pakai lhacha Pathen thuki-imho phongdoh a ngansena changa kahi lhon bouve tin neigel jouvin.
Let any man look upon us as servants of Christ, and stewards of the secret truths of God.
2 Hichea avetup a ngansena chang michu tahsan umtah mi ahi angaiye.
Now it is required of stewards, that a man be found faithful.
3 Hinlah keima dingin nanghon ahilouleh mi koiham khat touvin eikholtoh ding chu thilthupin kagelpoi. Keima chung chang thua kakikhol ding jong ahipoi.
But to me it matters very little that I am judged by you, or by any earthly court.
4 Keiman ase le apha kahetna thu akicheh in, hinlah hichu keima kadih monge tina ahipoi. Keima chung thu kholtoh ding le gellhahna nei dinga chu Pakai Amatah ahi.
Indeed I do not even judge myself; for though I know nothing against myself, yet that does not vindicate me; for he who judges me is the Lord.
5 Hiti ahijeh chun Pakai ahung phat masangin koima chung thu tanlhah jeng na neihih un. Ajeh chu Aman guhthima muthim lah a ibol jouseu chu vah'a akilahdoh sah ding chule ichan cheh diu ilunggon hou chu ahintah lang ding ahiye. Chuphat leh Pathen in amichang cheh a vahchoina dinga lom ahinauva apehcheh dingu ahi.
So make no hasty judgment until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make plain the purpose of men’s hearts. Then each man’s due praise will come to him from God.
6 Sopi deitahte, keiman kaseisa thua hin avetsahnan, keimatah le Apollos to kani lhonin kana hil tauvin ahi. Keiman Pathen Thubua kona kalahdoh a kahinsei chu phatah in lunga ngaitona neileu chun midang mosahna dinga nalam kaiyu khat kiletsah hoithopia naum louhel dingu ahi.
Now these things, brothers, I have applied in a figure to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that in us you might learn not to go beyond what is written; that none of you be puffed up for the one, against the other.
7 Hitobang loma dinga chu kon thutan theina napeh u hintem? Pathen pehlou ipi naneiyu umem? Chule nanei jouseu chu Pathena kon ahi, iti dana thilpeh chang hilou tobanga kiletsah hoithona neiya nahiu ham?
For who makes you a differ, brother? Or what have you that you did not receive? But if you did receive it, why are you boasting as if you had not received it?
8 Nanghon na ngaichat chan neiyin nakigelun ahi. Nangho aning lhingin nakigelun ahi. Keiho pang louva Pathen lenggama vaipopa nahiuve! Vaipoa pang hitaleu chun kati lheh in ahi, chutihen lang hileh nangho toh vaipo khom kahi diu ahitai.
But you, forsooth, are already full, are you? You are already rich? Without us you are already reigning? Yes, and I would that you did reign, so that we also might reign with you.
9 Chusangin, Pathen in keiho hi vannoi pumpia miho le vantil ho vetnom hiding a galjo nunga sohchang gal hinga kikai, tha dinga gonsa tobang bep'a solchah a eikoiyu hiding in kagel in ahi.
But it seems to me that God has exhibited us apostles, last of all, like men doomed to death; for we are made a spectacle to the whole world, both to men and to angels.
10 Christaa kaki lhandoh nau hi angola toh kabang uve, hinlah nangho hi Christa a chingtah in naki seiyun ahi! Keiho hi kalhasamun, hinlah nangho nathanei lheh jengun ahi! Nangho jabol nachang uvin, hinlah keiho hi isahlou tah in eikibol uvin ahi.
For Christ’s sake we are fools, but you are quite philosophic in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are outcast.
11 Tujeng jong hin keiho gilkel le dangchah thoh in kavahleuvin, chule kitomlumna ding pon jong kanei pouve. Keiho hi eikivo lhoiyun, chule gena in kanei pouve.
Even to his very hour we are enduring hunger and thirst and nakedness and blows.
12 Keihon thachol tah'in kakihinsona ding uvin kakhut tah'un na katong gimun ahi. Eigaosap hou phatthei kaboh uve. Alam louva eibol nauva kakido hat'un ahi.
Homeless men, we toil, working with our own hands.
13 Keiho chungthua thuse aseinauva lungneng tah'in kataotho uvin ahi. Ahivangin keiho hi vannoiya deimon kaumun, tugei hin paiyin kaum nalaiyui.
When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when defamed, we conciliate. We have been made, as it were, scum-o’-the-earth, the very refuse of the world, to this very hour!
14 Keiman hiche kajih hi nangho jachat sahna ding kagon ahipon, ka-it tah chate hina a kahil chah joh'u nahibou uve.
I am not writing this to shame you, but to admonish you, as my beloved children.
15 Ajeh chu nanghon Christa thu nahil thei uvah mi sang som nei jongleu chun, nanghon Lhagao lama pa khatbou naneiyu ahi. Ajehchu keiman nangho henga Kipana Thupha kahung seiphong ahitah jeh in nangho dinga keima hi Christa Yeshua a napau kahung hi ahitai.
For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ Jesus, you can have but one father. For in Christ Jesus I begot you through the gospel.
16 Hiti ahijeh chun keima umchan thouvin kati ahi.
I beg you then to imitate my example.
17 Chule keiman Pakaiya kacha ngaitah le tahsan umtah Timothy hi kahinsol ahitai. Amahin keiman Christa Yeshua chu iti kajui ahi; houbung kachena jouse ho kahilna banga chu nangho avela nagel dohsah kit dingu ahiye.
With this in mind I have sent Timothy to you. He is my dear and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ; the manner in which I ever teach everywhere in every church.
18 Keiman kahung vil kit tahlou ding gel'a na umjeh uvin, mi phabep nalah uva alouchal naum tauve.
Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
19 Hinlah keima kahunga chule gangtah a Pakaiyin eiphalpeh ahileh hiche kihi sahtah'a thuseiya um hohi atho thu'u hiya ham ahilouleh Pathen thahat nei hiuvem ti kholdoh nange.
But come to you I will, and that soon, if it please the Lord, and then I shall learn not the talk of these boasters, but their power.
20 Ajehchu Pathen lenggam hi thua seitho seh seh chu ahipoi, hichu Pathen thahatna'a hinjoh chu ahiye.
For the kingdom of God is not in talk, but in power.
21 Hoijoh nakilhen dingu ham? Keima mol kichoiya gotna pedinga naheng uva kahung ding ham? Ahilouleh ngailutna le lungnenga kahung ding ham?
Which do you want? Am I to come to you with a rod, or in a loving and tender spirit?
