< 1 Corinth 15 >

1 Kasopi deitahte, tumasanga naheng uva Kipana Thupha kahung lhangsap thu chu keiman nahin geldoh sahkit uvinge. Chupet chun nasang uvin chule tugeiyin nading det jing nauvin ahi.
Now I make known to you, brothers, the gospel that I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,
2 Keiman najah uva kaseipeh u thu chu natahsan jom jing uva ahileh hiche Kipana Thupha chun nahuhhingu ahi–apat a pat'a adihlou thu chu tahsana nahilou pouva ahileh.
and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the message that I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
3 Keiman naheng uva akhohpen tah keima henga ana kipe chu kahin pehson nahiuve–Christa chu Pathen Thubun asei dung juiyin ichonset jal'un athin ahi.
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 Ama chu akivuiyin, chule Pathen Thubun asei dung juiyin, ani-thum nin athoudohtai.
that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5 Ama chu Peter in amun chujouvin somle ni ho chun amu uve.
and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the twelve.
6 Chujouvin, khatveiyin anung jui mi janga val hon khatvei mun amuvin ahi, amaholah a atamjo ahing nalaiyun, hinla phabep chu athi tauve.
Next he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still living, but some have fallen asleep.
7 Chupet in Jacob in ama chu amun chujouvin solchah jousen amu uve.
Next he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
8 Achaina keiyin, aphat louva peng bangin, keiman jong Ama chu kamun ahi.
Last of all, as to one born at the wrong time, he appeared to me as well.
9 Ajehchu keima solchah ho jouse lah a imacha hiloupen kahi. Ahimongin Pathen houbung ana gimbol hesoh a kahi jeh hin solchah ti dinga jong kiloma kahipoi.
For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10 Hinlah tun ipi thu um jongleh kahi ahi, Pathen in alungsetna chu kachunga asunlhah ahitah jeh hin-chule hichu phatchomna bei ahidehpoi. Ajeh chu keiman solchah dangho sangin na kaha tohgimjon, hinla hichu keijoh hita louva Pathen in alungsetnaa keiya na atoh ahijo bouve.
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
11 Hiti chun keiman seiphong teng ahilouleh amahon ka thusei ma tahsanna nakisanu thudol seiphong kit jongleu ima chom aumpoi, ajeh chu keihon kabon chauva natahsanu thudol chu kasei phong khomu ahi.
Whether then it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you have come to believe.
12 Hinlah hiche hi neiseipeh un-Christa chu thinaa konin athoutai katiu leh, itidan'a nalah uva phabep in athiho thokitna aumpoi tia nahiu ham?
Now if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 Ajehchu athiho thokitna aumlouva ahileh Christa jong chu kaithouva um dehlou hiding ahitai.
If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.
14 Chule Christa chu kaithoulou anahita leh, thu kaseiphong leu hi mohseh hita ding, chule natahsan'u jong chu mohseh hiding ahitai.
And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith is also in vain.
15 Chule solchah keiho jouse jong hi Pathen lamdola jousei kahi dingu ahitai-ajeh chu keihon Christa chu Pathen in lhan'a konin akaithouve kana tiu ahi. Hinlah thokitna aumlouva ahileh hiche kisei chu dih theilou ding ahitai.
We are even found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified against God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if indeed the dead are not raised.
16 Chule athiho thokitna chu umlou hitaleh, Christa chu kaithou hilouding ahitai.
For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised.
17 Chule Christa chu kaithou hilou anahi khah leh, natahsanu chu panna bei hiding chule nangho hi nachonset nauvin themmo nachanjing nahlai dingu ahiye.
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
18 Hiche chung chang thua hi, Christa tahsana thiho jouse chu mang thah hidiu ahitai.
Furthermore, those who have fallen asleep in Christ have also perished.
19 Chule Christa itahsanu hi tuhinkhoa ding bou hita leh, vannoiya midang jouse sanga khoto umpen ihi dingu ahitai.
If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
20 Hinlah, Christa chu athiho lah a konin kaithou ahitah behnai. Ama athiho jouse lah a aga masapen chu ahitai.
But as it is, Christ has been raised from the dead; he has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
21 Hitia hi mikhat jal'a vannoi a thina ahunglhun banga chu, athiho lah'a kona thokitna hi michom khat jal'a hiding ahi.
For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man.
22 Eiho ibonchauva Adama hungkon ihijeh uva ithi sohkei dingu ahi tobanga, Christaa hiho jouse chu hinkho thah kipe ding ahi.
For just as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.
23 Hinlah hiche thokitna thudol a hin akigontoh dol aume. Christa chu ga kiloh masapen ahi, abana Christaa thiho jouse chu Ama ahungkit tengleh kaithouva umding ahitai.
But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then, at his coming, those who belong to Christ.
24 Aman vaipoho le athunei ho chule athanei ho chu asuhmang soh jou tengleh, Lenggam chu Pa Pathen koma apehdoh a chujou tah leh achaina hung hiding ahi.
Then comes the end, when he hands the kingdom over to God the Father, after he has abolished all rule and all authority and power.
25 Ajehchu Christa hin Amelmate jouse chu akengto noiya akoi tokahsea vai ahom tei ding ahi.
For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
26 Chule melma anunungpen akisumang ding chu thina ahi.
The last enemy to be abolished is death.
27 Ajehchu Pathen Thubun aseiyin, “Pathen in ijakai Ama thunoiya akoisohkei ahitai,” ati. (Hichea, “ijakai Ama thuneina noiya akoi” kiti hin Pathen Ama akijaosah thapoi, Ama chun Christa hi Athuneina apehdoh joh ahibouve).
For God “has put everything in subjection under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything has been put in subjection,” it is evident that it does not include God himself, who put everything in subjection to Christ.
28 Aman ijakai athunoiya akoisohkei tengleh, Chapa Amatah jong chu Pathen thunoiya kikhum lut intin, Pathen Achapa ijakai chunga thuneina pepa chu, ijakai a achungvuma imalam jousea athunei hiding ahitai.
Now when everything has been subjected to him, the Son himself will also be subjected to him who subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.
29 Athisaho kaithouva umlou ding ahia ahileh, thi jal'a baptize chanlona ajeh ipiba hitantem? Athiho chu nikhat le kaithou ding ahilou leh ipi bol ngaiya ham?
Otherwise, what are people doing when they get baptized for the dead? If the dead are not actually raised, why are people getting baptized for them?
30 Chule ipi dinga aphat phat a keiho hin kahinkhou hi hahsatna kathoh jiu hintem?
And why do we put ourselves in danger every hour?
31 Ajehchu kasopiteho, kihahselna theijin keiman anitinin thina kakimaitopi jinge. I Pakaiyu Christa Yeshuan nanghoa anatoh hi keima kakiletsahna tahbeh chu ahi.
I die daily! Yes, just as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord.
32 Chule gamsaho toh (Ephesus khomite toh) kakidel lona ipi phatchomna hintem? Athisaho thokitna umlou ding ahia ahileh? Chule thokitna aum louva ahileh, “Eiho kivah'u hitin, donu hite, ajeh chu ajinga kithi tading chu!” itidiu ahitai.
If I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus with no more than human hopes, what did it benefit me? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
33 Chutobanga thusei ho chu kingol bolsah hih un, ajeh chu, “kivoppi phalouvin chon chan phalou asoji,” kitia ahi.
Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
34 Adih chu ipipen ahi geltoh uvin lang, chule chonse tahih un. Ajeh chu hiche hi naja chatna ding uva kasei doh ahi, nangho mi phabep Pathen he tahbeh lou nahiuve.
Come to your senses, as is right, and stop sinning. For there are some who are ignorant of God. I say this to your shame.
35 Hinlah khat touvin, “Mithiho itobanga thoudoh dingu ham? Itobang tahsa pum anei dingu ham?” tin dongun te.
But someone will say, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”
36 Itobang ngol hoi thudoh hitam! Nangman muchi tol'a natu chu athi kahsen ahung kehdoh theipoi.
Fool! What yoʋ sow does not come to life unless it dies.
37 Chule nangman leiset a nakoi chu suhlouchang mu hihen ipi pen chu natulut hita jongleh aphung ahung khang ding chu ahihih laiye.
And what yoʋ sow is not the body that will be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or some other grain.
38 Chutengleh Pathen in ahin hisahnom ding vouthah chu ahinpeh ding ahi. Muchi khat cheh a kona chu thingphung chom chom hung khang touva ahi.
But God gives it a body just as he has determined, and he gives to each of the seeds its own body.
39 Chutobangma a chu tahsa pum jong jatchom chom ahi, mihem tahsa pum le ganhingho tahsa pum, vacha ho tahsa pum, chule ajat chombeh nga tahsa pum geiya uma ahi.
Not all flesh is the same flesh, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for fish, and another for birds.
40 Leiset a tipumho aum tobang'in, Van'a jong tipumho aumin ahi. Van'a tahsapum loupina chu leiset'a tahsapum loupina toh ajatchomin ahi.
There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of heavenly bodies is one kind, and the glory of earthly bodies is another.
41 Nisa hin loupina jatkhat aneiyin, lhale ahsi hon jong khat cheh hina ma anei cheh uve. Ahsiho jeng jong khat khat hi aloupinau ajatchom cheh in ahi.
There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.
42 Mithiho thokitna jong chutobangma chu ahi. Leiset a itahsau hi ithiteng uleh leinoiya iphumlut jiuvin, hinla aitih a hing jing dinga hung thoudoh ding ahiuve.
So it is with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, but it is raised imperishable.
43 Itahsau hi abong abaija kiphumlut a ahin, hinla hicheho hi loupina a hung thoudoh ding ahiuve. Amaho hi thanei louva kivuilut'ah ahin, hinla thahat'a hungthoudoh ding ahiuve.
It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
44 Amaho hi angaiya mihem vouphea kivuiya ahiuvin, hinla amaho hi lhagaolam vouphea hung thoudoh ding ahiuve. Ajeh chu angaidol'a tahsa vouphe aum tobanga chu lhagaolam dola vouphe aumin ahi.
It is sown as a natural body; it is raised as a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 Pathen Thubun, “Mimasa Adam chu hinna nei mihem ahunghi,” tin eiseipeh uvin ahi. Hinlah Adam nunungpa chu, Christa kiseina, hinna pea Lhagao ahi.
And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46 Amasa tahsa tipumho hung um masaa chujouva lhagaova tipumho chu khonunga hung uma ahi.
However, the spiritual body is not first, but the natural body, then the spiritual body.
47 Mimasa Adam chu leiset leivuiya kona kisema ahin, mihem aninapa Christa chu Vana kona hung'ah ahi.
The first man was from the earth, made of dust; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 Leiset mite hi leiset mihem chuto akilou uvin, chule van'a mite chu van'a hungkonpa tobang ahiuve.
As was the man made of dust, so are those made of dust; and as is the heavenly man, so are those who are heavenly.
49 Tua hi eiho leiset a mihempa tobang chu ihiuvin, phatkhatle vana hungkonpa tobang chu ihunghi dingu ahi.
Just as we have borne the image of the man made of dust, let us also bear the image of the heavenly man.
50 Kasopi deitahteho, keiman kaseihi, itahsapheu hin Pathen Lenggam alotheipoi. Hiche thithei tahsaphe hin tonsot'a umding gou alotheipoi.
Now I tell you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does what is perishable inherit what is imperishable.
51 Hinlah keiman thuguh kidangtah naphondohpeh uvinge. Eiho jouse ibonchauva ithi sohkei dingu hilou, hinla ibonchauva vouso kikhel ding ihiuve.
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
52 Hichu phulou helouva, mitphetkah sunga sumkon nunungpen chu hung kimutging ding ahi. Ajeh chu sumkon chu ahung kimut ging tengleh, Pakaiya anathisaho chu vou kikhel a thoudoh diu ahi. Chule eiho ahing chengse ivouvu kikhel ding tonsot'a hingding ihitauve.
in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet call. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
53 Ajehchu athi ding itahsau hi thilouhel ding tahsavouva kikhel ding, athithei itahsau hi athitheitalou tahsa voupua kikhel ding ahitai.
For this perishable body must put on imperishability, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
54 Chuteng, athiding tahsa ineihou hi athi talou ding tahsahoa ahung kikhel tengleh, hiche Pathen Thubu in asei, “Thina chu jonain avallhumtai”
Now when this perishable body has put on imperishability, and this mortal body has put on immortality, then this saying that is written will be fulfilled: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
55 “Vo thina, hoibaham namijo na? Vo thina, hoibaham namide na?” kiti chu guilhung ding ahi. (Hadēs g86)
“O Death, where is yoʋr sting? O Hades, where is yoʋr victory?” (Hadēs g86)
56 Ajehchu chonset hi thina a dinga midep'a panga ahi, chule Danthu hin chonset thaneina apeh ahi.
Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
57 Hinlah Pathen thangvah in umhen! Aman chonset le thina jo jou theina I Pakaiyu Yeshua Christa jal'in eipeuvin ahi.
But thanks be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Hijeh chun, kasopi deitah teho, hat'un chule suhlong theilouvin pangun. Pakaiya dingin thanomtah in tong jingun, ajeh chu nathil bolu chu Pakaiya dingin phatchomna bei imacha aumpoi ti naheuve.
So then, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
