1 Corinth 11
1 Chule keima Christa dungsun kahi bangin, nangho jong keima dungsun hiuvin.
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2 Nanghon nalunguvah keima neigel jingun, chule naheng uva kathuhilu thu chu najuiyuve, ti kahet hin keima kakipah lheh in ahi.
Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
3 Hinlah nanghon thilkhat nahet dingu keiman kadei chu-Pasal chu Christa lama mopoa ahin, numei chu ajipa henga mopoa ahi, chule Christa chu Pathen henga mopoa ahi.
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4 Pasal in ataopet ahilouleh lhagaothu aseipet a alu akhua ahileh Christa ajalou ahi.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5 Hinlah numeiyin alu khuh louva ataova, ahilouleh Lhagao thu aseidoh a ahileh ajipa chu ajalou ahin, hijeh a chu hiche hi alu kivoutol tobang ahitai.
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6 Ahin amanu hin alu pon'a akhukhum nom louleh, aman asam jouse atan lhah ding dol ahitai! Ahin numei dinga asam tan lhah ahilouleh asam vomui chu jachat um ahijeh a, amanu chun ponlu khu chu akiken ding ahi.
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7 Pasal in Pathen ahoupet a alua ima akoilou ding ahi, ajeh chu pasal chu Pathen lima kisema chule Pathen loupina sulanga ahi. Chule numeiyin Pasal loupina asuhlang hiya ahi.
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
8 Ajeh iham itileh mimasa chu numeiya kona ahipon, hinla numei masa chu pasala kon ahi.
For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
9 Chule pasal chu numei dinga kisema ahipon, ahin numei chu pasal dinga kisema ahi.
Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
10 Hijeh a chu numeiyin thuneina noiya um kahi ti vetsahna a, alua ponkhu akivon ding ahi, ajeh chu vantilte avet jingu ahi.
For this cause ought the woman to have authority on her head because of the angels.
11 Hinlah Pakai mite lah a, numeiho chu pasala kona chamlhat ahilou tobang'in, pasal ho jong numeiya kona chamlhat ahipouve.
Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
12 Ajeh iham itileh numei masa chu pasala kona hung uma ahijeng vang'in, pasal dang khat khat cheh hi numei khat a kona hung peng doh a ahi cheh uve.
For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
13 Nangho cheh dingin thu kitanun. Numei hin alu pon kikhu louva mipi lah a Pathen henga atao ding chu dih a hinam?
Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
14 Pasal in sam asaova aput ding chu ama dinga kilom louva hilou ham?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
15 Chule numei dinga asamsao hi akiletsahpi le athanoppi hilou ham? Ajeh chu hichu amanu dinga khukhum dinga kipea ahi.
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
16 Hinlah hiche thudola hi khattou anelkal nom aumleh, eihon hiche tailou hi chonna ding dang inei pouve, chule Pathen houbung danghon jong anei deh pouve, ti hi kaseidoh nom ahi.
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the Assemblies of God.
17 Ahivangin tun anoiya kithuhilna hoa hin, nangho kapahcha theipouve. Ajeh chu nangho nakimuto tenguleh thilpha sanga aphalou ding joh boldoh a hileu chun akilouve.
Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
18 Amasan, houbunga nakikhop khom tenguleh nalah uva kibung khenna aume tithu kajan, chule hichu ichan hamin katahsanin ahi.
For first of all, when ye come together in the Assembly, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
19 Hinlah, ahinai, nalah uva kibung khenna soh mong ding ahinai chutia chu nangho adih'a umho hetdoh'a naumna ding uva ahi!
For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
20 Nangho naki khop khom tenguleh, nangho Pakai Anjonna'ah nalunglut tahtah pouve.
When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper.
21 Ajeh iham itileh nalah uva mi phabep chu midang to nehkhom ding golouvin nangma an cheh nakineh pai jenguve. Hiti chun, abang khat gilkel in aum un, adang phabep akhamji tauve.
For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
22 Ipi ham? Nehna le donna dinga nangma nangma in cheh neiya nahi lou u ham? Ahilouleh nanghon Pathen houbung chu imacha hilou sosah ding goa chule avaichaho jachatsah goa nahiu vem? Keiman ipi kasei ding hitam? Nangho ka pachat diu nanop'u vem? Hichung chang thua hin napahcha hih uvinge!
What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the Assembly of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
23 Ajehchu, Pakai Amatah a kona kalahson chu nangho kapehson kit nahiuve. Pakai chu mat dinga pehdoh a aum jan chun, Pakai chun changlhah phabep ala in,
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 Hiche a chun Pathen athangvah in ahi. Chuphat in Aman ahehbalbal'in chuin aseiyin, “Hiche hi nangho dinga kipedoh katahsa ahi. Keima neigeldoh jingna dingun hiche hi bol'un,” ati.
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 Hitobangma chun an aneh jouvun, Aman khon'a lengpitwi chu ala in, aseiyin, “Hiche khon hi Pathen le Amite kitepna thah ahi–kathisan a kitepna suhdetna chu ahi. Hiche hi nadon laiseuvin keima geldohna in bol'un” ati.
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 Ajehchu nanghon hiche changlhah hi naneh chanseuva chule hiche khon'a hi nadonlai chanseuva nanghon Pakai thina chu ahung kahsea naphondoh u ahi.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
27 Hiti chun, koi hijongleh lomlouhel'a hiche changlhah chu nea, ahilouleh hiche Pakai khon'a chu don'ah aumleh Pakai tahsa le thisana chu themmo chang ding ahi.
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 Hiche jeh a chu changlhah chu naneh masangule khon'a chu nadon masanguva nangma tah kivetchilna nanei dingu ahiye.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 Ajehchu Christa tahsa chu naneh masangu, ahilouleh nadon masang uva Christa tahsa chu najabol louva ahileh, naneh le nadon a chu Pathen thutanna nangma chung tah a nakilhut hiya ahi.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
30 Hiche jeh a chu nangho mitamtah thalhoma chule naa chule phabepset jong athia nahi tauve.
For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 Hinlah eimaho tah kikholtoh a hileuhen, Pathen in hitia hi ichung uva thutanna aneilou ding ahi.
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 Amavang Pakaiyin ithu'u atan'a thununna noiya eikoiyu tengleh, vannoi toh themmo ichantha lou diu ahi.
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
33 Hiti chun kasopite, nanghon Pakai Jan Anjon boldinga nakikhop ji tenguleh, khatle khat kingah touvin.
Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
34 Agilkel tahbeh monga nahiuleh, in'ah kineh jengun, chuti henlang hileh nakikhop khom tenguleh nangma chunga thutanna chu nakiloilut lou ding ahi.
And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
