And the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, for, he, was the firstborn, but because he defiled the couch of his father, his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, —and he is not to be enrolled in the place of firstborn,

the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.
4 Joel son achilhah ho chu Shemaiah ahin, Gog ahin, Shimei ahin,
The sons of Joel, Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son;
5 Micah ahin, Reaiah ahin, Baal ahin,
Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son;
6 Chule Beerah ahi. Assyria lengpa Tiglath-Pileser pachu Beerah anahi.
Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria carried away captive, —he, was a leader to the Reubenites;

9 Chule amaho hin Gilead gam'a chun gancha tamtah anei jeh’a niso lama jong achenguvin, nel gam jot nalampi lang apat Euphrates luipi gal lam geiyin acheng uvin ahi.
and, eastward, dwelt he as far as the entering in of the desert, from the river Euphrates, —because, their cattle, were multiplied in the land of Gilead;
10 Shual lengvaipoh laiyin jong Reuben mite hin Hagar mite chunga gal abol uvin ahi, hiche Hagar mite chu ajophat uvin Gilead niso lama amaho ponbuh jouse a chun alhung keiyin achen den lo tauvin ahi.
and, in the days of Saul, they made war with the Hagrites, who fell by their hand, —so they dwelt in their tents, over all the face of the land east of Gilead.
11 Gad son achilhah ho chu Reuben mite ho toh kigalsaiyin achenguvin Salecah chan geiyin alouve.
And, the sons of Gad, over against them, dwelt, in the land of Bashan, as far as Salecah:
12 Joel chu Bashan khoa haosan apangin, Shapham ama ban in apangin, ama ni ban’a Janai le Saphat apang ahilhone.
Joel the chief, and Shapham, the second, —and Janai and Shaphat, in Bashan;
13 Amaho insunga phunggui sagi haosa ho chu Michael ahin, Meshullam ahin, Shiba ahin, Jorai ahin, Jacan Zia ahin, chule Eber ahi.
and their brethren of their ancestral house, Michael and Meshullam and Sheba and Jorai and Jacan and Zia and Eber, seven.
14 Hiche ho chengse hi abonchauva Huri chapa Abihail son achilhah jeng ahiuve; Huri chu joroah chapa ahin, Joroah chu Gilead chapa ahin, Michael chu Jeshishai chapa ahin, Jeshishai chu Jahdo chapa, chule Jahdo chu Buz chapa ahi.
These, were the sons of Abihail, son of Huri, son of Jaroah, son of Gilead, son of Michael, son of Jehishai, son of Jahdo, son of Buz,
15 Ahi chu Abdiel chapa ahin, Abdiel chu Guni chapa ahin chule Guni hi amaho insung lhah’a haosa ahi.
Ahi son of Abdiel, son of Guni, chief of their ancestral house;
16 Hiche Gad mite hi Gilead gamsung, Bashan gamsung, chule akhobah jouse le Sharon gam hamhing phatna lai jousea achenguvin ahi.
and they dwelt in Gilead—in Bashan, and in her villages, —and in all the pasture-lands of Sharon, up to their outgoings.
17 Mihem hijat khanggui thusim hi Judah lengpa Jotham lal lai le Israel lengpa Jeroboam lal laiya kisimtoh a kijih doh ahiye.
All of them, were genealogically registered in the days of Jotham king of Judah, —and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
18 Reuben chapate leh Gad chapate chule Manaseh phung keh khat jong hin galhang mihat, pho le chemjam thoa gal bolthei, thalpi kap them, galsat themtah tah sepai sangsom li le sang ni le ja sagi le somgup jen gal bol dia gonsa anei jinguvin ahi.
the sons of Reuben and Gad, and half tribe of Manasseh, of the sons of valour, men bearing shield and sword and bending the bow, and instructed in war, were forty-four thousand and seven hundred and sixty, ready to go forth in the host.

and were helped against them, and the Hagrites and all that were with them were delivered into their hand, —for, unto God, made they outcry, in the war, and he suffered himself to be entreated by them, because they put their trust in him;

for, many slain, fell, for, of God, was the war, —and they dwelt in their stead, until the captivity.
23 Manaseh phung kehkhat jong mihem atam lheh jenguvin, Bashan gam'a pat Baal-Hermon gei, Senir gei, chule Hermon molsang geiyin achengdoh peh jenguvin ahi.
And, the sons of the half tribe of Manasseh, dwelt in the land, —from Bashan, as far as to Baal-hermon and Senir and Mount Hermon, they, were multiplied.
24 Ama ama pajang lhah ainsung cheh-uva a upa chengse chu: Epher ahin, Ishi ahin, Eliel ahin, Azriel ahin, Jeremiah ahin, Hodaviah ahin, chule Jahdiel toh ahiuve. Amaho mihat galhang ho hina lama minthanna anei uvin, chule ama ama insung pajang lhah a a upa chengse chu ahitauvin ahi.
And, these, were the heads of their ancestral house, —Epher and Ishi and Eliel and Azriel and Jeremiah and Hodaviah and Jahdiel, men who were heroes of valour, men of renown, chiefs to their ancestral house.
25 Ahivangin amaho hin apu apateu Pathen ahou khel’uvin, Pathenin asuhmangsa mite gam'a vaipo ho Pathen lim semthu doi ho akou tauvin ahi.
But they dealt unfaithfully with the God of their fathers, —and went unchastely after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God destroyed from before them;
26 Hichejeh hin Pathenin Assyria lengpa Pul (Tiglath-Piteser jong akiti ) lungthim ahintildoh peh in, hiche Reuben mite le Gad mite toh, chule Manaseh phung akeh khat hi akaimangin ahi. Assyria ten amaho hi Halah kho le Habor kho, Hara kho, chule Gozan vadunga ahinkai lut’uvin, tuni geiyin aumden tauve.
so the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria, and he took them away captive, even the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of Manasseh, —and brought them in unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river of Gozan, unto this day.
