And David the king says to all the assembly, “My son Solomon—the one on whom God has fixed—[is] young and tender, and the work [is] great, for the palace is not for man, but for YHWH God;

and with all my power I have prepared for the house of my God, the gold for [things of] gold, and the silver for [things of] silver, and the bronze for [things of] bronze, the iron for [things of] iron, and the wood for [things of] wood, shoham stones, and settings, and stones of painting and of diverse colors, and all [kinds of] precious stone, and stones of white marble, in abundance.
3 Tunjong, keiman ka Pakaiya dia kakipehdoh nan ka Sana le sum eng jouse jong a Houin sah nadia kagotpeh ho ban’in kapedoh tai.
And again, because of my delighting in the house of my God, the substance I have—a peculiar treasure of gold and silver—I have given for the house of my God, even over and above all I have prepared for the holy house:
4 Chuleh, keiman Houin bang dung ho sah nadin, Ophir a kon Sana talent jakhat somleni chuleh, sum eng thengsel talent jani somgup le ni jong kapedoh tai.
three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses,
5 Chuban a, Khutthem ho tham ding Sana le Sum eng avat ding chengse ho hi, koi tobang ka Pakai ka Pathen a dia keijong kakipehdoh nom’e ti e um uvem?
even gold for [things of] gold, and silver for [things of] silver, and for all the work by the hand of craftsmen; and who [is] he that is offering to willingly consecrate his hand to YHWH today?”
6 Hichun, mi upa ho le Israel phung lamkai ho ahin, sepai jalamkaiho, gouching ho chuleh, lengpa vaibolho jouse jong kiphaltheng tah in akipedohsoh taove.
And the heads of the fathers, and the heads of the tribes of Israel, and the heads of the thousands, and of the hundreds, and of the heads of the work of the king, offer willingly.
7 Pathen Houin theng sah nadia akipehdoh nao abonchauva apehdoh jat uchu, Sana talent jakhat somget le get, Dangka talent sangsom, sum eng talent jathum somsagi le nga, thih lhe talent jagup somsagi le nga chuleh, thih talent sangthum jasagi le somnga alhing’e.
And they give for the service of the house of God five thousand talents and ten thousand drams of gold, and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand talents of bronze, and one hundred thousand talents of iron;
8 Chujongle, Gershon chilhah a kon Jehiel in maicham thilkhol namun avetsui din anganse un, songmantam tampi jong atoh be cheh uve.
and he with whom stones are found has given [them] to the treasury of the house of YHWH, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
9 Maicham thiltho ho jouse mipi ten hongphal tah le kiphaltheng tah a to jeh uvin akipah cheh uvin ahi. Chujongle Lengpa David jong kipa leh thanop nan adim’e.
And the people rejoice because of their offering willingly, for with a perfect heart they have offered willingly to YHWH; and David the king has also rejoiced [with] great joy.
10 Chuphat chun, Lengpa David in mipi jouse masang’in Pathen athangvah’e. “Kahung kondoh nao Vo ka Pathen’u, atonsot tonsot'in nun nom in, namin kithangvah jinghen.
And David blesses YHWH before the eyes of all the assembly, and David says, “Blessed [are] You, YHWH, God of Israel, our Father, from age even to age.
11 Vo ka Pathen’u, minthanna jouse, loupi na jouse, thaneina jouse, jabol na jouse, ijakai nang’a hijing hen. Leiset pumpi le Vanthamjol abonna nang’a ahi. Vo Kapathen’u thil ijakai nangma lenggam thaneina ahi.
To You, O YHWH, [is] the greatness, and the might, and the beauty, and the victory, and the splendor, because of all in the heavens and in the earth; to You, O YHWH, [is] the kingdom, and He who is lifting up Himself over all for head;
12 Houna le Jabolna nang’a kon bou ahi. Ajehchu, emajouse nangma thunoi a umjeng ahi. Thaneina le loupina nangma khut a aum’in. Nangma khut’in minthanna le thaneina aboncha aum’e.
and the riches, and the honor [are] from before You, and You are ruling over all, and in Your hand [is] power and might, and [it is] in Your hand to make great and to give strength to all.
13 Vo ka Pathen’u, namin thangvah le choi’ann na kahin peuve.
And now, our God, we are giving thanks to You, and giving praise to Your beautiful Name;
14 Ahinlah, keima Koi kahiya, ka mite chu ipi hiuvam, nangma angsung a kipah le thanomtah a ipi hijongle kapeh jing thei uham? Kanei, kagou jouseu nangma a konna kamu jeng u ahin, kapeh hou jouse nangman neipehsao ngen jeng ahi.
indeed, because who [am] I, and who [are] my people, that we retain power to offer thus willingly? But the whole [is] from You, and we have given to You out of Your [own] hand;
15 Chuleh, kapu kapateu bang’a, Hiche leiset a hi khopem le maljin maimai kahiuvin, kahinkhou jong nilim kihei bang’in agei na akihepha ji tapoi.
for we [are] sojourners and settlers before You, like all our fathers; our days on the land [are] as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
16 “Ka Pakai le ka Pathen’u, nangma jabol na, na Houin theng sah nadia kahin to khom u ijakai hi nang’a ahin, nangman neipeh jeng u ahi.
O our God YHWH, all this store [with] which we have prepared to build a house for You, for Your Holy Name, [is] out of Your [own] hand, and the whole [is] of You.
17 Ka Pathen, nangman kalung’u nakholchilsoh jin, nalunglhai na chung’a nakipapi ji’e ti keima neihetsah in, chule lunggil tah a keiman thil hicheng kabol jong nahen ahi. Kamiten jong kipah le thanom tah thilto, thilpeh nangma houin theng sahdoh nadia ahin choi u jong neimusah jing’e.
And I have known, my God, that You are trying the heart, and desire uprightness; I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these; and now, I have seen Your people who are found here with joy to offer willingly to You.
18 Vo thaneipen Pathen, Kapu’u Abraham Pathen, Isaac Pathen, Israelte Pathen, namiten nathu angai jing ding uvin kahung tao’e. Nangma na jabol le na hepi nao jong mu jing’in.
O YHWH, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this for all time for the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and prepare their heart for You;
19 Kachapa Solomon’in alungthim pumpia nathupeh chengse anit a, na danthu le na hettohsah hihen, ejakai ajui jing’a, keiman kagontup pehsa na Houin theng kisahdoh kahsen lungvul na pejing o.
and give a perfect heart to my son Solomon, to keep Your commands, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do the whole, even to build the palace [for] which I have prepared.”
20 Chuphat’in, David in mipi ho jah a, “Na Pakai, na Pathen’u thangvah un” ati. Hichun, mipi jousen Pathen athangvah un, Apu apateu Pathen masang’in abohkhup un, chibai abol uvin, lengpa jong jabolna apeuvin ahi.
And David says to all the assembly, “Now bless your God YHWH”; and all the assembly blesses YHWH, God of their fathers, and bows and pays respect to YHWH and to the king.
21 Ajing nikhon, mipiten Pakaiya kilhainan Bongchal sangkhat, Kelngoi sangkhat le kelngoichal sangkhat ahin choijun, pumgo thilton atoh uve. Chujongle, Israel pumpi min’in lengpitwi le kilhaina tampi jong ahin choi uvin ahi.
And they sacrifice sacrifices to YHWH, and cause burnt-offerings to ascend to YHWH on that next day: one thousand bullocks, one thousand rams, one thousand lambs, and their oblations, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.
22 Ann nehkhom abol’un, lengpitwi adon’un, Kipah le thanomtah in Pathen athangvah uve. Chujongle, Leng David chapa Solomon chu mipi ho masang’in leng hung chang din thao anu un, Zadok jong chu thempu din thaonuna achangtai.
And they eat and drink before YHWH on that day with great joy, and cause Solomon son of David to reign a second time, and anoint [him] before YHWH for leader, and Zadok for priest.
23 Chuin, Solomon in apa Leng David laltouna mun chu ahin khel tan, imalam jousea apa athakhel jou in, Israel pumpin jong ajabol sohkei taove.
And Solomon sits on the throne of YHWH for king instead of his father David, and prospers, and all of Israel listens to him,
24 Mi thupiho, Gaalhang ho chuleh Leng David chapate jousen jong Lengpa Solomon adin kitepna le kipehdohna anei taove.
and all the heads, and the mighty men, and also all the sons of King David have given a hand under Solomon the king;
25 Chuban’a Pathenin Leng Solomon chu Israel pumpi masang a adomsang’in, a itih a Israel lengten jong ana chan phahlou, minthanna, loupi nale jabolna sangpenin Pathenin phatthei abohtai.
and YHWH makes Solomon exceedingly great before the eyes of all Israel, and puts on him the splendor of the kingdom that has not been on any king over Israel before him.
26 Hitobanga hi, Jesse chapa Leng David hin jong Israel pumpin Lengvai ana pon ahi.
And David son of Jesse has reigned over all Israel,
27 A Lengvai poh chu kum somli alhing’in, kum sagi sung Hebron chuleh, kum somthum le thum sung chu Jerusalem a lengvai ana po’i.
and the days that he has reigned over Israel [are] forty years; he reigned in Hebron seven years, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three;
28 Ahinkhon haona, jabolna achang’in, kum sottah hinkho kipah le thanom in amang in, atehset a ahinkho lhin mong’in athin, chuphat’in achapa Solomon in a Lengmun ahin khel e.
and he dies in a good old age, satisfied with days, riches, and honor, and his son Solomon reigns in his stead.
29 Leng David vaipoh sungsea thil ejakai kijihlut ho jouse chu, a mitvaneipa Samuel thusimbu, Nathan themgaopa thusimle lekhabu, mitvaneipa Gad thusimbu a akijihlut soh in ahi.
And the matters of David the king, the first and the last, behold, they are written beside the matters of Samuel the seer, and beside the matters of Nathan the prophet, and beside the matters of Gad the seer,
30 Hiche thilsoh ho jouse hin Leng David loupi na aphochen uvin, chuleh a lengvaipoh sung’a Israel le akimvel lenggam hoa thilsoh jouse jong ajao cheh e.
with all his reign, and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all kingdoms of the lands.
