1 Israel sepai jalamkaite le a vaibol teuvin lengpa hongbit dia a sepaite ahon hon a aki vaihop dan u chu hiti ahi. Sepai hon khat a mi sangsomni le li alhing uvin, kum khat le lhakhat cheh pan ala teiyun ahi.
And the sons of Israel, after their number, heads of the fathers, and princes of the thousands and of the hundreds, and their officers, those serving the king in any matter of the divisions, that are coming in and going out month by month throughout all months of the year, [are] twenty-four thousand in each division.
2 Sepai hon ho panmun la masapen a lamkai chu Zabdiel chapa Jashobeam ahi,
Over the first division for the first month [is] Jashobeam son of Zabdiel, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division;
3 Ama hi Perez insung a kon sepai vaihom ho jouse lah a jong thaneipen ahi.
[he was] of the sons of Perez, [and] the head of all princes of the hosts for the first month.
4 Sepaihon lhanina a pan la a lamkai chu Ahoah insungmi Dodai kitipa ahin, anoidou a thanei vaihom din Mikloth kitipa akikoi e.
And over the division of the second month [is] Dodai the Ahohite, and Mikloth [is] also president of his division, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
5 A lhathum channa a pan la sepaihon lamkai chu Jehoiada chapa Benaiah ahi.
Head of the third host, for the third month, [is] Benaiah son of Jehoiada, the head priest, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
6 Beniah kitipa hi David sepai hangsan, mihat somthum ho lamkai a jong ana pang ahi. Achapa Ammizabad chu anoidou din apansah e.
This Benaiah [is] a mighty one of the thirty, and over the thirty, and his son Ammizabad [is in] his division.
7 Joab naopa Asahel in a lhali channa sepai hon te alamkaiyin ahi. Amahi achapa Zebadiah in athijouin apanmun akhel tai.
The fourth, for the fourth month, [is] Asahel brother of Joab, and his son Zebadiah after him, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
8 A lhanga channa sepaihon lamkai chu Shammah ahin, amahi Izrahite tinjong aki hei.
The fifth, for the fifth month, [is] the prince Shamhuth the Izrahite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
9 A lhagup channa din Tekoa vangkhoa kon, Ikkesh chapa Ira chu lamkai in apang’e.
The sixth, for the sixth month, [is] Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
10 A lhasagi channan Pelon akon a Ephraim insungmi Helez a lamkai e.
The seventh, for the seventh month, [is] Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
11 A lhaget channan Hushah a kon Zerah insungmi Sibbecai a lamkaiyin.
The eighth, for the eighth month, [is] Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
12 A lhako channan Benjamin gamsung, Anathoth a kon Abiezer a lamkai in.
The ninth, for the ninth month, [is] Abiezer the Antothite, of the Benjamite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
13 A lhasom nan Netophah a kon Zerah insungmi Maharai in a lamkaiye.
The tenth, for the tenth month, [is] Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahite, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
14 A lhasom le khat nan Epharaim, Pirathon a kon Benaiah a lamkaiyin.
Eleventh, for the eleventh month, [is] Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
15 A lhasom le ni na in Netophah a kon Othniel insungmi Heled in a lamkaiye.
The twelfth, for the twelfth month, [is] Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel, and twenty-four thousand [are] on his division.
16 Reuben phung lamkai chu Zicri, Eliezer chapa ahi. Simeon phung lamkai chu Maacah chapa, Shephatiah ahi.
And over the tribes of Israel: the leader of the Reubenite [is] Eliezer son of Zichri; of the Simeonite, Shephatiah son of Maachah;
17 Levi Phung lamkai, Kemuel chapa Hashabiah ahin, Aaron themgaote phung lamkai chu Zadok ahi.
of the Levite, Hashabiah son of Kemuel; of the Aaronite, Zadok;
18 Judah te lamkai chu David sopipa Elihu ahin, Issachar lamkai chu Michael chapa Omri ahi.
of Judah, Elihu, of the brothers of David; of Issachar, Omri son of Michael;
19 Zebulun lamkai in Obadiah chapa Ishmaiah apangin, Naphtali lamkai chu Azriel chapa Jeremoth ahi.
of Zebulun, Ishmaiah son of Obadiah; of Naphtali, Jerimoth son of Azriel;
20 Ephraim Phung lamkai chu Azaziah chapa Hoshea ahin, Lhumlam Manasseh lamkai chu Pedaiah chapa Joel ahi.
of the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Azaziah; of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, Joel son of Pedaiah;
21 Solam Gilead a Manasseh lamkai chu Zechariah chapa Iddo ahi. Benjamin lamkai a Abner chapa Jaasiel apang in.
of the half of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo son of Zechariah; of Benjamin, Jaasiel son of Abner; of Dan, Azareel son of Jeroham.
22 Dan lamkaiyin Jeroham chapa Azarel apang’e.
These [are the] heads of the tribes of Israel.
23 Leng David in mijatsim abolna achun kum somni a pat anoilam ho asimtha pon ahi. Ajehchu, Pathenin Israel chate chu van'a ahsi jat a phatthei aboh dia akitepna akoisa ahitai.
But David has not taken up their number from a son of twenty years and under, for YHWH had said [He would] multiply Israel as the stars of the heavens.
24 Zeruiah chapa Joab chun mijatsim ejat a aboldoh kigot vang'in alosap jing’e. Ajehchu Pathen lunghan na chang a, Leng David khang a Israel mijatsim chu lolhing lou ahitai.
Joab son of Zeruiah has begun to number, but has not finished; and there is wrath against Israel for this, and the number has not gone up in the account of the Chronicles of King David.
25 Adiel chapa Azmaveth chu lengpa thilkholna ngahtup din nganse ahin, Uzziah chapa Jonathan chu khopi thilkholna mun jouse ngahtup din nganse ahitai.
And Azmaveth son of Adiel [is] over the treasures of the king; and Jonathan son of Uzziah [is] over the treasures in the field, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers;
26 Kelub chapa Ezri chun Lengpa loubol ho vetup din Loumun angah in,
and Ezri son of Chelub [is] over workmen of the field for the service of the ground;
27 Ramah a kon Shimei chu Lengpa lengpi lei ngahtup in apang in, Sepham a kon Zabdi chu Lengpa Ju le Lengpi twi thah a apang’e.
and Shimei the Ramathite [is] over the vineyards; and Zabdi the Shiphmite [is] over what [is] in the vineyards for the treasures of wine;
28 Geder a kon a Baal-Hanan chun Judah te moul bul a um Lengpa Olive honsung chule theichang, theiba lei chu angahtup in ahi. Lengpa heng’a Olive thao thah jing din Joash ngansena achang’e.
and Ba‘al-Hanan the Gederite [is] over the olives and the sycamores that [are] in the low country; and Joash [is] over the treasures of oil;
29 Sharon a kon Shitrai chu Sharon munjang lang’a Bong ching in apangin. Adlai chapa Shaphat chu phaicham lang’a apang e.
and Shitrai the Sharonite [is] over the herds that are feeding in Sharon; and Shaphat son of Adlai [is] over the herds in the valleys;
30 Ishamel chilhah Obil in Sangong saote aching in. Meronoth a kon Jehdeiah in Sangaan aching e.
and Obil the Ishmaelite [is] over the camels; and Jehdeiah the Meronothite [is] over the donkeys;
31 Hagrite mi Jaziz in Lengpa kelngoi le kelcha aching in. Amaho chengse hi Lengpa gou ching jeng ahiuve.
and Jaziz the Hagerite [is] over the flock; all these [are] heads of the substance that King David has.
32 David pa-ngahpa Jonathan chu michingtah le thil hethei tah chule lengpa semang khat ahin. Hachmoni chapa Jehiel chu lengpa chapa jilkung in apang’e.
And Jonathan, David’s uncle, [is] counselor, a man of understanding, [and] he is also a scribe; and Jehiel son of Hachmoni [is] with the sons of the king;
33 Ahithophel kitipa hi Leng insung a thumop themtah ahin. Ark kho a Hushai kitipa hi Lengpa dia agol khat ahi.
and Ahithophel [is] counselor to the king; and Hushai the Archite [is] the friend of the king;
34 Benaiah leh Abiathar chapa Jehoiada in Ahithophel athi jouvin a panmun ahin khel in, Joab chu Lengpa sepai jalamkai a apangtai.
and after Ahithophel [is] Jehoiada son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and the head of the host of the king [is] Joab.
