The sons of Perez, Hezron and Hamul.

6 Zerah chapate chu Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, chule Darda ahiuvin mi nga jeng alhing uve.

And, the sons of Zerah, Zimri and Ethan, and Heman and Calcol and Dara, all of them, five.

And, the sons of Carmi, Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in a thing devoted.

And, the sons of Ethan, Azariah.

9 Hezron chapate chu Jerahmeel, Ram, chule Caleb ahiuve.

And, the sons of Hezron, who were born to him, Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Calubai.

10 Ram hin Amminadab ahingin, chule Amminadab hin Judahte leng chapa Nahshon ahingin ahi.

And, Ram, begat Amminadab, —and, Amminadab, begat Nahshon, leader of the sons of Judah.

11 Nahshon hin Salmon ahingin, Salmon hin Boaz ahingin,

And, Nahshon, begat Salma, and, Salma, begat Boaz;

12 Boaz chun Obed ahingin, Obed in Jesse ahinge.

and, Boaz, begat Obed, and, Obed, begat Jesse;

and, Jesse, begat—his firstborn, Eliab, —and Abinadab, the second, and Shimea, the third;

14 Ali lhin na pachu Nethanel ahin, Raddai chu nga lhinna ahi.

Nethanel, the fourth, Raddai, the fifth;

15 Ozem chu achapa gup lhinna ahin, chule asagi lhinna chu David ahitai.

Ozem, the sixth, David, the seventh.

And, Abigail, bare Amasa, —and, the father of Amasa, was Jether the Ishmaelite.

18 Hezron chapa Caleb jong hin ajinu Azubah kitinu Jerioth khoa minu chu toh chapa phabep ahing lhonin ahi. Amanu chapate chu Jesher, Shobab, chule Ardon ahiuvin ahi.

And, Caleb son of Hezron, begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth, —and, these, were her sons, Jesher and Shobab and Ardon.

19 Azubah hi athi nungin Caleb in Ephrathah akichenpi’in, chule chapa khat Hur kitipa chu ahing lhonne.

And Azubah died, —and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, and she bare to him Hur.

20 Hur hin Uri ahingin, Uri in Bezalel ahinge.

And, Hur, begat Uri, and, Uri, begat Bezalel.

21 Hezron hin akum kum som gup jen alhin nungin, Gilead sopinu Makir chanu chu akichenpin ahileh, chapa khat amin Segub kitipa chu ahing lhonnin ahi.

And, afterward, Hezron went in unto the daughter of Machir, father of Gilead, and he took her when he was sixty years old, —and she bare him Segub.

22 Segub hin Gilead gamsunga khopi somni le thum jen semdoh’a chule lengvaipoa pang Jair kitipa chu ahingin ahi.

And, Segub, begat Jair, —who came to have twenty-three cities, in the land of Gilead;

23 Ahin Geshur le Ram chun Jair ngahmun khopi toh Kenath khopi toh chule akhobah chengse kholen cheh somgup jen alah tha lhon tai. Mi hichengse hi Gilead hingpa Makir son achilhah jeng ahiuvin ahi.

but Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath and the villages thereof, sixty cities. All these, were the sons of Machir, father of Gilead.

24 Hezron chu Caleb-Ephrathah ngahmun khopia athi nungin ajinu Abijah chun chapa khat Tekoa hingpa Ashhur kitipa chu ahinpeh-in ahi.

And, after the death of Hezron, Caleb entered Ephrathah, —and, the wife of Hezron, was Abiah, who bare him Ashur, father of Tekoa.

25 Hezron chapa apeng masapen Jerahmeel chapate chu apeng masapen Ram ahin, Bunah ahin, Oren ahin, Ozem ahin, chule Ahijah ahiuve

And the sons of Jerahmeel firstborn of Hezron were, the firstborn, Ram, —and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem [of] Ahijah.

26 Jerahmeel kitipa hin ji chom khat jong aneiyin, amin chu Atarah akiti. Amanu hin Onam chu anahinge.

And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name, was Atarah, —the same, was the mother of Onam.

And the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerameel, were, —Maaz and Jamin, and Eker.

And the sons of Onam were, Shammai and Jada, —and, the sons of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.

29 Abishur le ajinu Abihail chapate ni chu Abhan leh Molid ahilhone.

And, the name of the wife of Abishur, was Abihail, —and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.

30 Nadab chapate ni chu Seled le Appaim ahilhone. Seled chu cha nei louvin athitan,

And, the sons of Nadab, Seled and Appaim, —but Seled died without sons.

31 Ahin Appaim hin chapa khat amin Ishi kitipa chu aneiyin ahi. Ishi chapa chu Sheshan ahin, chule Sheshan chapa chu Ahlai ahi.

And, the sons of Appaim, Ishi, and, the sons of Ishi, Sheshan, and, the sons of Sheshan, Ahlai.

32 Shammai sopipa Jada chapate ni chu Jether le Jonathan ahilhone. Jether hi cha nei louvin athitan,

And, the sons of Jada, brother of Shammai, Jether, and Jonathan, —but Jether died without sons.

33 Hinlah Jonathan hin vang chapa ni Peleth le Zaza ahinge. Mihem hijat hi Jerahmeel son achilhah ahiuve.

And the sons of Jonathan, Peleth and Zaza. These, were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34 Sheshan in chapate aneipon, ahin chanu tampi ahinge Sheshan hin Egypt mi pasal khat soh aneiyin, amin jong Jarha akiti.

Now Sheshan had, no sons, but, daughters, —and, Sheshan, had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha;

35 Sheshan in hiche asohpa Jarha kitipa hi achanu khat toh akichensah in ahileh achanun amapa chu toh chapa khat amin Attai kitipa chu ahing lhone.

so Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant, to wife, —and she bare him Attai.

36 Attai hin Nathan ahingin, Nathan in Zabad ahinge.

And, Attai, begat Nathan, and, Nathan, begat Zabad;

37 Zabad hin Ephlal ahingin, Ephlal chun Obed ahingin ahi.

and, Zabad, begat Ephlal, and, Ephlal, begat Obed;

38 Obed hin Jehu ahingin, chule Jehu hin Azariah ahinge.

and, Obed, begat Jehu, and, Jehu, begat Azariah;

39 Helez hingpa chu Azariah ahin, chule Eleasah hingpa chu Helez ahi.

and, Azariah, begat Helez, and, Helez, begat Eleasah;

40 Sismai hingpa chu Eleasah ahin, chule Shallum hingpa chu Sismai ahi.

and, Eleasah, begat Sismai, and, Sismai, begat Shallum;

41 Jekamiah hingpa chu Shallum ahin, chule Elishama hingpa chu Jekamiah ahi.

and, Shallum, begat Jekamiah, and, Jekamiah, begat Elishama.

42 Jerahmeel sopipa Caleb chapate lah’a apeng masapen Mesha chun Ziph ahingin, chule Mareshah hin Hebron ahinge.

Now, the sons of Caleb, brother of Jerahmeel, were, Mesha his firstborn, the same, was the father of Ziph, —and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43 Hebron chapate chu Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, chule Shema ahiuve.

And, the sons of Hebron, Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.

44 Shema hin Raham ahingin, Raham hin Jorkeam ahinge. Chule Rekem hin Shammai anahingin ahi.

And, Shema, begat Raham, the father of Jorkeam, —and, Rekem, begat Shammai.

45 Shammai chapa chu Maon ahin, chule Maon chun Beth Zur ahingin ahi.

And, the son of Shammai, was Maon, —and, Maon, was the father of Beth-zur.

46 Caleb thaikemnu chun Haran, Moza, chule Gazez ahinge; chule hichea hin Haran hin Gazez chu ahingin ahi.

And, Ephah, the concubine of Caleb, bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez, —and, Haran, begat Gazez.

47 Jahdai chapate chu Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, chule Shaaph ahiuvin ahi.

And, the sons of Jahdai, Regem and Jotham and Geshan and Pelet, and Ephah and Shaaph.

48 Caleb thaikemnu achom khat Maachah kitinu jong chun Sheber le Tirhanah ahingin ahi.

A concubine of Caleb, Maacah, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah;

49 Amanu ma ma hin jong Madmannah pa Shaaph chule Macbenah le Gibea pa Sheva anahingin ahi. Caleb hin jong chanu khat aneiyin amin Achsah akiti.

she also bare Shaaph, father of Madmannah, Sheva, father of Machbena, and father of Gibea, —and, the daughter of Caleb, was Achsah.

50 Mihem hijat hi abonchauva Caleb son achilhah jeng ahiuve. Caleb jinu Ephrathah chapa masapen Hur chapate chu Kiriath-Jearim pa Shobal,

These, were the sons of Caleb, sons of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah, —Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim;

51 Bethlehem pa Salma, chule Beth-Gader pa Hareph ahiuve.

Salma, the father of Bethlehem, Hareph, the father of Beth-gader.

52 Kiriath-Jearim pa Shobal son achilhahho chu Haroeh sung kon Manahath mi akeh khat jen toh,

And Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons, —Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.

53 Chule Kiriath-Jearim insung mite Ithir miho ahiuvin, Puth miho ahiuvin, Sumath miho ahiuvin, chule Mishrai miho toh ahiuve; amahoa kona hi Zorah miho le Eshtaol miho hung kondoh ahiuvin ahi.

And, the families of Kiriath-jearim, were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites, —from these, came the Zorathites, and the Eshtaolites.

54 Salma chapate chu Bethlehem miho ahiuvin, Netophath miho ahiuvin, Atroth-Beth-Joab miho ahiuvin, adang miho chu Manahath miho leh Zor miho akeh khat jen jong ahiuvin ahi.

The sons of Salma, were Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Atrothbeth-joab, —and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites;

55 Chule Jabez khoa cheng danthu lekha sunna pang miho insung mite jong Tirath miho ahiuvin, Shimeath miho hi Recab insung penna Hammath kitipa sung peng ngen ahiuvin, Ken mi jeng ahiuve.

and the families of scribes who dwelt at Jabez, the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. The same, are the Kenites who came in from Hammath, father of the house of Rechab.
