< John 21 >
1 Hiteng zawkciang in Jesus sia a nungzui te kung Taiberias tuili hui ah kilaakkik hi; taciang a kilaak dan sia hibang a hihi.
Afterward, Jesus again appeared to the disciples, at the sea of Tiberias; and in this manner he appeared.
2 Simon Peter le Didymus kici Thomas, Galilee ngam Cana khuami Nathanael, Zebedee tapa te le a dang nungzui ni te zong om uh hi.
Simon Peter and Thomas, that is, Didymus, Nathanael of Cana, in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples of Jesus, being together,
3 Simon Peter in amate tung ah, kei ngasa man ka pai tu hi, ci hi. Amate in ko zong nangma taw pai tu khu hi, ci uh hi. Amate pai vingveng in ngunkuang sung ah tuak uh hi; taciang tua zan in bangma a man bua uh hi.
Simon Peter said, I am going a-fishing. They answered, We will go with you. Immediately they went, and got aboard a bark, but that night caught nothing.
4 Zingsang ciang in Jesus sia tui hui ah ding hi: ahihang a nungzui te in Jesus a hi hunlam a he bua uh hi.
In the morning Jesus stood on the shore; the disciples, however, knew not that it was Jesus.
5 Jesus in, Tano te awng, neakpha khatpo nei ngawl nu ziam? ci hi. Amate in, nei ngawl khu hi, ci in zo uh hi.
Jesus said to them, My children, have you any victuals? They answered, No.
6 Jesus in amate tung ah, Na ngunkuang ziatsang ah na ngen pai vun a, mu tu nu hi, ci hi. Tua ahikom amate zong paai uh a, ngasa tampitak awk ahikom in a ngen uh zong kai zo ngawl liang uh hi.
Cast the net, cried he, on the right side of the bark, and you will find. They did so, but were not able to draw it, by reason of the multitude of fishes.
7 Tua ahikom Jesus i a it mama nungzui pa in, Peter kung ah, Topa hi, ci hi. Simon Peter in Topa hi, ci a zak ciang in, ngasa matna laktong sia vet in, tuisung ah leangsuk hi, banghangziam cile ama a pumnguak a hihi.
Then that disciple whom Jesus loved, said to Peter, It is the Master. Simon Peter, hearing that it was the Master, girt on his upper garment (which was laid aside) and threw himself into the sea.
8 Adang nungzui te sia ngunkuang no taw hongpai uh a; ngasa taw a dim ngen kai uh hi. Banghangziam cile amate sia tui hui pan in khuala ngawl hi, tong za ni kiim khawng bekma khuala hi.
But the other disciples came in the boat, (for they were not farther from land than about two hundred cubits, ) dragging the net, with the fishes.
9 Amate tui hui ah a thet po uh ciang, meihol a ki seam meitung ah, ngasa le anluum a ki em mu uh hi.
When they came ashore, they saw a fire burning, and a fish laid on it, and bread.
10 Jesus in amate tung ah, Tu in na mat uh ngasa hiak ah hong paipui tavun, ci hi.
Jesus said to them, Bring of the fishes which you have now taken.
11 Simon Peter hong kato a, ngasa lian mama za le sawm nga le thum taw a dim ngen tui hui ah kai uh hi: tabang in ngasa tam mama hi napi, a ngen uh tat ngawl hi.
Simon Peter went back, and drew the net to land, full of large fishes, a hundred and fifty-three; and the net was not rent, notwithstanding the number.
12 Jesus in amate tung ah, Hongpai tavun a, ne vun, ci hi. Nungzui te in, Topa hi, ci he napi, kuama in, Kua ni ziam? ci a dong ngam bua uh hi.
Jesus said to them, Come and dine. Meantime none of the disciples ventured to ask him, Who are you? knowing that it was the Master.
13 Jesus hongpai a, anluum la in amate pia hi, tabangma in ngasa zong la a amate pia hi.
Jesus drew near, and taking bread and fish, distributed among them.
14 Hi thu sia Jesus thina pan a thawkik zawk, nungzui te kung ah a thumvei na a kilaak na a hihi.
This is the third time that Jesus appeared to his disciples, after his resurrection.
15 Amate an a neak zawk uh ciang in Jesus in, Simon Peter kung ah, Jonah tapa, Simon awng, hi te sang in nong it zaw ziam? ci hi. Simon Peter in, hi hi, Topa awng; hong it khi hi, ci nangma in na he hi, ci hi. Jesus in, Ka tuuno te an vak in, ci hi.
When they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me more than these? He answered, Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.
16 Jesus in, Jonah tapa, Simon awng, nong it ziam? ci in a ni vei na ci kik hi. Simon Peter in, hi hi, Topa awng; kong it hi, ci nangma in na he hi, ci hi. Jesus in ama kung ah, Ka tuu te an vak in, ci hi.
A second time he said, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love m? He answered, Yes, Lord, you know that I love you. Jesus replied, Tend my sheep.
17 Jesus in, Jonah tapa, Simon awng, nong it ziam? ci in a thum vei na ci hi. Tabang thum vei dong Jesus in, nong it ziam? a ci hu in Peter khuangai a, Jesus kung ah, Topa awng, Nangma in na theampo na he hi; hong it khi hi, ci na he hi, ci hi. Jesus in ama kung ah, Ka tuu te an vak in.
A third time he said, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me? Peter, grieved at his asking this question a third time, answered, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you. Jesus replied, Feed my sheep.
Most assuredly, I say to you, in your youth you girt yourself, and went whither you would; but in your old age, you shall stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you whither you would not.
19 Hi thu a son ciang, bangbang thi na taw Pathian minthangsak tu ci kilangsak hi. Taciang hi thu a son zawkciang, Jesus in Peter kung ah, Hong zui tan, ci hi.
This he spoke, signifying by what death he should glorify God. After these words, he said to him, Follow me.
20 Peter hong kihei a, Jesus i a it mama a nungzui pa in a zui mu si; tua mun sia nitak an a neakkhop na uh mun ah Jesus kang neal in, Topa awng, nangma hong leheak sia a kua ziam? ci hi.
And Peter turning about, saw the disciple, whom Jesus loved, following, (the same who, leaning on his breast at the supper, had asked who it was, that would betray him.)
21 Peter in tua pa a mu ciang in, Topa, hisia pa bangbang hitu ziam? ci in Jesus kung ah ci hi.
Peter seeing him, said to Jesus, And what, Lord, shall become of this man?
22 Jesus in, Ka thet dong om tu in ka dei le, nang atu in bang poimaw ni ziam? nang hong zui po tan, ci hi.
Jesus answered, If I will that he wait my return, what is that to you? Follow me.
23 Tua zawkciang in, tua a nungzui pa sia thi ngawl tu hi, ci thu suapui te sung ah hong kizel hi: ahihang Jesus in, ama sia thi ngawl tu hi, ci ngawl hi; ahihang, ka thet dong om tu in ka dei le, nang atu bang poimaw ziam? a ci hi zaw hi.
Hence arose the rumor among the brethren, that that disciple should not die; nevertheless, Jesus said not, that he should not die; but, If I will, that he wait my return, what is that to you?
24 Hi a nungzui pa sia, hi thu te tetti pan nate a at pa a hihi: taciang hi tettipan na sia a man a hihi, ci ka he hi.
It is this disciple, who attests these things, and wrote this account; and we know that his testimony deserves credit.
25 Jesus i sep na dang tampi om lai hi, ta te sia khatsim at siat leang, leitung ah tua thu at natu laibu te ta zo ngawl tu hi, ci ka ngaisun hi. Amen.
There were many other things also performed by Jesus, which, were they to be severally related, I imagine, the world itself could not contain the volumes that would be written.
