Hebrews 12
1 Tua ahikom hizata a lian meingo bang tetti te in hong kimum liang ahikom in, vanngit theampo le a oltak in hong nawngkaisak mawna sia nusia in, i mai ah a kikoi tai kidemna ah thinsau tak in tai tek tawng,
Having therefore so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every incumbrance, and the sin that easily besets us, and run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Eite i upna kipatna le a picingsak Jesus en tawng; Ama sia a mai ah a kikoi lungdamna atu in thinglamte thuak a, maizumna sia phamaw sa ngawl in, Pathian i kumpi tokhum ziatsang ah to hi.
looking unto Jesus the leader and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 Banghangziam cile thinngim le thaneam in na om ngawl natu uh in, Ama sia hizata in mawnei te i langpan na a thuakna ngaisun vun.
Wherefore consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, that ye may not give out, fainting in your minds:
4 Note mawna langpan in thisan suak dong na do balai uh hi.
for ye have not resisted unto blood in striving against sin.

Have ye forgotten the exhortation, which speaketh to you as to sons, saying, "My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor saint when rebuked by Him?
6 Banghangziam cile Topa in a it te sia tek a, a saan tate te sia sat hi.
for whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth."
7 Tek na na thuak le Pathian in note sia tapa te bang in hong tek hi; banghangziam cile pa in a tek ngawl ta a kua om ziam?
If ye endure chastening, God treateth you as sons; for what son is there, whom the father doth not chastise?
8 Ahihang note sia, ta hina a neipui te theampo bang in, hong ki tek bale, tapa hi ngawl in lamlakta na hi uh hi.
But if ye be without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are ye bastards and not sons.
9 Tuabek domngawl in, cilesa lam ah hong tek tu pa te i nei hi, taciang amate zatakna i pia hi: tuate sang in, thaa theampo i Pa tung ah nasia zaw in, a thu ni in nungta zaw ngawl tu hi ziam?
Now if we had fathers of our flesh, who corrected us, and we gave them reverence; shall we not much more be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 Banghangziam cile pate in ni tawmno sung amate lungkimna bang in hong tek hi; ahihang Pathian in eite phattuamna tu le Ama thianthona neipui te i hi thei natu in hong tek hi.
For they indeed corrected us for a while, as seemed good to them; but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.
11 Ki tek na sia i thuak laitak lungdamna hi ngawl in khuangaina taw kibang hi: ahihang a zawkciang in a thuak te in thinnopna taw a dim thutang suana i nga kik tu hi.
Now no chastening seems for the present to be matter of joy but of grief: and yet afterwards it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those that are exercised thereby.
12 Tua ahikom thaneam in a taksuk na khut te lamto un a, na khup te khosak vun;
Lift up therefore the hands that hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees.
13 Taciang peangbai te lampial ngawl tu a, damsak zaw tu in, na peang atu in lampi te tangsak vun.
And make strait paths for your feet, that what is lame may not be turned out of the way, but rather be healed.
14 Mi theampo taw kilem le thianthona sia del tavun, thianthona ngawl taw kuama in Topa mu ngawl tu hi:
Follow peace with all men; and holiness, without which none shall see the Lord:
15 Hanciamtak in encik vun, tabang hi bale Pathian thuthiamna pan in mi khatpo taksuk tha tu hi; a po khia zungkha in hong buaisak tu a, mi tampi hong niinsak tu hi.
looking to it, least there be any one falling short of the grace of God, least any root of bitterness springing up should be troublesome, and by it many be defiled:
16 A paktat te ahizong, a hibale ta upabel ngamh sia an neak khat taw a zuak Esau bang in Pathian thusimngawl te na om tha tu uh hi.
least there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one repast gave away his birthright.
17 Banghangziam cile tua zawkciang in thupha ngamh a lua kik nop ciang in ki nolh a: thitui taw nasiatak in a zon kik hang, ki sikkikna lampi mu ngawl hi, ci na he uh hi.
For ye know that, when he would afterwards have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no room for repentance, though he sought it earnestly even with tears.
18 Banghangziam cile note i tham thei mual le mei i kak, a vom, khuazing le huipi suangval kung ah na pai bua uh hi,
Ye are not come to a tangible mountain, and burning fire, and a thick cloud, and darkness, and tempest,
19 Taciang lemle aw le thuhilna aw; amate thuhil nawn ngawl tu in ngetna aw za uh hi:
and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words, which they that heard, intreated that the word might not any more be thus delivered to them:
20 Banghangziam cile, nganhing khatpo in mual a thutha le, suangtum taw deang tu hi, a hibale tei taw ki sun tu hi, ci thupiakna sia amate in a thuak zo bua uh hi:
(for they could not bear the strict command, if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or shot through with a dart;
21 Tua a mu uh sia lauhuai lei ahikom, Moses zong, ka lau mama a, ka ling vadil hi, ci hi:
and so terrible was the appearance that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and tremble: )
22 Ahihang note sia Zion mual le a nungta Pathian i khuapi, van Jerusalem le a kisim zo ngawl vantungmi honpi te kung ah ahizong,
but ye are come to mount Sion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,
23 Mihonpi kikhopna mun le vantung ah min ki at ta upabel i pawlpi, mi theampo thu a khen Pathian kung ah ahizong, a thutang te picingsak thaa te kung ah ahizong,
to the general assembly and church of the first-born who are written in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect,
24 Thuciam thak i palai a hi Jesus tung ah ahizong, Abel sang in a phazaw thu te a hil thisan the na kung ah ahizong, na pai uh hi.
and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than Abel.
25 Note thu hong hil te thuhilna nial ngawl tu in kidawm vun. Leitung ah thuhil te i hilna a nial te suakta ngawl ahile, vantung pan thuhilna a nungngat le, tua sang in i suakta ba seseam tu hi:
See that ye reject not Him that speaketh; for if they escaped not, who rejected him that gave forth divine oracles on earth, much less shall we, if we turn away from Him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Leitung a lingsak aw in, leitung bek hi ngawl in vantung zong khatvei lingsak kik tu hi, ci kiciamna nei hi.
whose voice then shook the earth; but now He hath promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heaven."
27 Khat vei, a ci sia a khiakna sia a liing thei ngawl te kip suak tu in ahizong, a liinsak leitung nate sia ki khin tu hi, ci kilangsak hi.
Now this expression "yet once more" signifieth the removing of the things that are shaken, as of things which had been appointed only for a season, that those which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Tua ahiciang, a ki khin thei ngawl kumpingam i nga hu in, thuthiamna i nei tek hi, tabang in a san thamman in upatna le zatakna taw Pathian na i seam thei tu hi:
Wherefore since we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and holy fear:
29 Banghangziam cile i Pathian sia a kang thei mei a hihi.
for our God is a consuming fire.
