Ephisus 6

1 Tate awng, Topa sung ah na nu le na pa te uh thu ni vun: banghangziam cile hisia sia a man a hihi.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2 Na nu le na pa zakta in; hi thu sia kamciam taw a masabel thupiak a hihi;

Honour thy father and mother (which is the first commandement with promise)

3 Tabang in nang atu in pha tu hi, taciang leitung ah na khansau tu hi.

That it may be well with thee, and that thou mayst liue long on earth.

4 Taciang, no pa te awng, na tate uh thinsosak heak vun; ahihang Topa kepna le hil nate bang in khangtosak tavun.

And ye, fathers, prouoke not your children to wrath: but bring them vp in instruction and information of the Lord.

5 Sila te awng, cilesa ngeina sung ah na to te thu sia lau le ling kawm in ahizong, thinsung takpi taw ahizong, Christ thu na nit uh bang in ni vun;

Seruants, be obedient vnto them that are your masters, according to the flesh, with feare and trembling in singlenesse of your hearts as vnto Christ,

6 Amate mu na ah mihing lungkimsak te bangbek hi ngawl in; Christ i sila te bang in, Pathian deina sia na thinsung uh pan seam tavun;

Not with seruice to the eye, as men pleasers, but as the seruants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

7 Na nasep uh ciang in mihing te atu seam bang hi ngawl in, Topa atu seam bang in, deisakna pha taw seam tavun:

With good will, seruing the Lord, and not men.

8 Sila ahizong, a suakta ahizong, akuamapo na pha a vawt theampo atu in Topa tung pan sangkik tu hi, ci sia he tavun.

And knowe ye that whatsoeuer good thing any man doeth, that same shall he receiue of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

And ye masters, doe the same things vnto them, putting away threatning: and know that euen your master also is in heauen, neither is there respect of person with him.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the assaultes of the deuil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the worldly gouernours, the princes of the darkenesse of this worlde, against spirituall wickednesses, which are in ye hie places. (aiōn g165)

13 Tua ahiciang a pha ngawl ni te sung ah na nalh zawk natu uh in le na theampo na vawt zawk uh ciang na din zawk thei natu uh in, Pathian ngalhiam theampo la vun.

For this cause take vnto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the euill day, and hauing finished all things, stand fast.

Stand therefore, and your loynes girded about with veritie, and hauing on the brest plate of righteousnesse,

And your feete shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace.

16 Na theampo i tung ah, upna lum toai vun, taciang a pha ngawl pa i thal mei-kuang theampo dal in na mit thei tu uh hi.

Aboue all, take the shielde of faith, wherewith ye may quench all the fierie dartes of the wicked,

17 Ngupna lukhu khu vun, taciang Pathian thu Thaa namsau toai vun:

And take the helmet of saluation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the worde of God.

18 Thaa sung ah note i kisapna le thungetna theampo taw tatsat ngawl in thungen vun, taciang mithiangtho theampo atu in hanciam in thungetna taw ngak vun;

And pray alwayes with all maner prayer and supplication in the Spirit: and watch thereunto with all perseuerance and supplication for al Saints,

19 Taciang keima zong lungdamna thuku hesak tu in hangsantak in ka kam ka kat thei natu ahizong, ka hil tu thu hongpiak thei natu ahizong,

And for me, that vtterance may be giuen vnto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to publish the secret of the Gospel,

20 Tua lungdamna thupha atu in keima sia tongciin ka hi thei natu in, hencip na zong ka thuak hi: tua sung ah ka son tu a kilawm thu hangsantak in ka son thei natu in thu hong ngetsak tavun.

Whereof I am the ambassadour in bonds, that therein I may speake boldely, as I ought to speake.

21 Ahizong Topa sung ah a muanhuai naseam le ka it suapui pa Tychicus in, keima thu le la theampo hong hesak tu hi:

But that ye may also know mine affaires, and what I doe, Tychicus my deare brother and faithfull minister in the Lord, shall shewe you of all things,

22 Ama sia ka thu le la te hong hesak tu le, na thinsung uh he nanepna na nga thei natu, tupna taw note kung ah kong paisak a hihi.

Whom I haue sent vnto you for the same purpose, that ye might knowe mine affaires, and that he might comfort your hearts.

23 Suapui te tung ah, Pa Pathian le Topa Jesus Christ tung pan thinnopna le itna sia upna taw hong om tahen.

Peace be with the brethren, and loue with faith from God the Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.

24 I Topa Jesus Christ sia citakna taw a it te theampo tung ah thuthiamna hong om tahen. Amen.
